"The only difference I from your story between this Horus and you is that you want to repent for the deaths you caused here. Other than that you are the same. You came here and you killed innocent people. Why? Because some creature was in your realm threatening to kill your people. Which in a way makes you worse. Putting myself in your shoes I would have instead of submitting I would have died fighting. One can't regain their honor when it was lost to cowardice in the first place." "Ral enough. We need to come up with a battle plan. But before we continue with that. You are just grouping Oblivion and the daedra that dwell within it into one group of faceless monsters bent on destroying everything. Which isn't true. And as long as Oblivion is concerned Azura's Seal has to be removed first before anything remotely resembling a military threat like several months ago. That seal lies within' Tamriel. The Dragonfires, the Septim blood line, and the Amulet of Kings literally hold Oblivion within it's own plane of existence. All three are the Seal. The Daedric Prince of dawn and dusk sealed Oblivion away herself. As long as Azura's Seal remains intact we have nothing to worry about from Oblivion. Nothing at all. And again concerning the Daedric Princes a pact must be formed if there is to be any sort of action from their forces. And it must be made properly. This requires the creation of a special Daedric portal leading to the Daedric Prince's lair. This requires many things that are only in this book and it is the only way to reach the Princes' lairs. There was one more book, but it is now ash scattered in the Deadlands of Oblivion. The only thing an open gate without the pact would do is attract small groups of lesser daedra to investigate. They would have no allegiance to a Daedric Prince and thus they would be no imminent threat. So your large gates would attract unwanted visitors from whichever plane they happened to cross over into. Ad there is no special power to Oblivion. It's just another realm. A place. Like this one and your own. It's just divided into different planes by the Princes themselves. They hold the power, not the landscape. They can control the landscape. They can make their planes whatever they want. That power comes from them. So if they are trying to harness the power of another realm to use as a weapon then they are going in the wrong direction. That gives us a powerful advantage. They may have been researching Oblivion for many years as you put it, but we have coexisted with it for centuries. We have actually come in contact with the Daedric Princes exchanged words with them before they even knew about Oblivion as a whole. There is no power from Oblivion itself. If they want the power of Oblivion then they want the power of the Daedric Princes."

Zhalavidra spoke up "Yes, I agree with you about preferring to have died fighting, which is why my mother did not submit to Chainz when he came, and thus all of our elites were destroyed protecting her. However, it is merely a matter of personal views on Honor and everything, you must understand, the I do not agree with his views, they are pure, and they come from his heart, and therefore are in no way selfish. What you may consider to be dishonoring his people with cowardice would be considered dishonoring oneself to preserve that of the rest of the tribe." She looked and saw they did not like what she was saying, and she sighed "Here, allow me to explain. On Verus Pondera, The Crown Prince of Pterons and Crown Princess of Dragonia hold all of the weight on their shoulders. They are not allowed to worry about their own Honor, or their own personal agenda, they are the guardians of the Realm and the people come first. In a sense, you could say that the people are the rulers and the Crown Prince and Princess are the slaves. The way the Codes of the Ves, which both of our peoples go by, works, when faced with a dilemma that may result in the loss of honor, the Crown Prince or Princess are to take the dishonorable task unto themselves alone, and in doing so, the Honor of the people is preserved. It is a Code that you may not agree with, but it has been followed for many eons, since the emergence of the Ves, the ancients that we derive from." She walked over to Martin and knelt before him pleadingly, prostrating herself before him "Please, your Grace, if his folly is this great to you, please, I beg of you, split the burden of his redemption, and give me half of it, as half of the Guardian Voice of Verus Pondera, I will take it willingly and redeem us both. and if I cannot succeed, then I wish to be punished in his place. He is a good man, he has just been subjected to the effects of deceit, strife, and fear. I myself have known those feelings, and in the past I have done some far worse things that he has."

" All of that aside he still came here and slaughtered my people. Not just my guards, advisers, soldiers, the council members, but innocent people. But before any punishment can be dealt we need to get this whole situation under control." He started rubbing his temples. "Kasumi give me the book. I'm going to go read it and think over a few options."Kasumi handed him the Daedric book she brought with her. "While you are gone we shall go look for Buarus and Jaferre." He nodded and walked into his quarters flanked by two Blades. Just then a sentry yelled from the parapets. A people and horse are making their way up the pass!Kasumi looked to Ral. We'll go investigate. He nodded at stood up. Both quickly made their way over to the gates and slipped out. They made their way to the figures moving up the pass. Kasumi ducked into a bush and cast Invisibility. Ral cast powerful chameleon spell. They both waited for the figures to pass by. The one on foot was obviously Buarus. He was limping slightly. On the horse was Jaferre was leaning over in great pain. He was an old man even if he was a Blade. Both Kasumi and Ral came out of hiding. "Grandmaster the Emperor is safe for the time being." "Thank the Nine." He said he sighed with relief. "He's injured. We need to get him back to Cloud Ruler and let the healers help him."

Zhalavidra stood up, and crabbed Zhavajango by his plumage "C'mon, you and I have some talking to do!" She nodded to Ral, and dragged him off to a separate chamber. She shut the door and sat down against it "So, care to tell me why, despite our codes and responsiblities, did you go along with him? You should have known that our peoples would have been betrayed even had you continued and managed to fulfill the dastardly deeds given to you. I guess you still think with your c**k, not your head!" She sighed "I'm worried. The higher-ups here don't seem too keen on patience and compromising, and what's worse, they don't seem to be able to handle any sort of stressful sitations without getting overly irritable. And then, I am still stumped as to why my mother was taken....I mean, with our Family Crests, why would they need our parents?"

"Owww, hey, that hurts!" Zhavajango caressed his sore scalp as he listened to Zhalavidra. He took a seat on the floor facing her. "They don't get it, they refuse to see the direness of the situation. They obviously think they are invincible. Just like Horus and Brunhylda" He shook his head, a look of mirth on his face "If only they really knew. I could not bring myself to tell them, as they seem to think they can handle it, but, Lord Horus and Lady Brunhylda are no ordinary Inccubine and Succubine creations. They aree the product of an extensive experiment by IC Labs to create the ultimate Devils, using the data they have collected from various realms and DNA from various devils. And despite what 'All of the scriptures at the Daedric shrines around Tamriel point to' they do not know what the Black Star Nation is capable of. All they know is what they have studied. I have gathered this much: Lady Gamaru, the leader, has some sort of scroll, and I overheard Chainz discussing with her, she made a pact with Mehrunes Dagon many years ago, and that is when the experiment really took off. From what I have come to understand, Lord Horus and Lady Brunhylda are considered Daedric Princes by their own right, and thus a pact could be made with them. Which is why I believe they sent Horus to me, I am guessing they expected me to bend over and take his pact from the rear, but it seems they miscalculated the maturity of their creations. Surely you noticed, Horus and Brunhylda, they both acted as small children would in terms of demeanor. Despite this, their intelligence and power is obvious, and we need to proceed with caution." He sighed "It is as if the Emperor refuses to believe that anything but what he has been taught and knows could be possible, if not probable. Even after traveling to a completely different realm with different aspects, and the fact that Oblivion can be opened from our world as well. I too am worried, if they open a gate in our world, then Lord Horus will be damn near unstoppable, all he has to do is enter, and his status as a Daedric Prince will be complete. I expect Brunhylda is aiming to do the same in the Twin Realms." He stood up and faced the wall "I really wish they would open their closed hearts and ears and actually listen for a change. Though, I suppose I cannot really blame them, I have done so many unforgivable deeds here, I really should be going, but, I just cannot seem to let myself play coward and skip out. Oh, I just remembered, I do remember something about the Ruins of Ves, the City of ancients, somewhere in the Vesper Desert, located on the large continent south of the Scorned Plains between our dwellings. And from what I remember being taught, there is an Ancient temple there than has a seal which can only be opened by both the Crown Prince of the Pterons and the Crown Princess of the Dragonia, together at the same time. Though, I always thought it was legend, perhaps they are thinking of entering these ruins for some horrible purpose?"

"You didn't answer my question, but..." She sighed heavily, shaking her head "If what you say is true, then Tamriel is in some serious s**t, especially with the Emperor and even Ral closing their ears. but, we can do nothing if they choose not to allow us to do so. If that be the case, then I will head to the Twin Realms, to rescue my mother from that b***h Brunhylda." Her voice was now very loud, as her anger had risen, and her voice could be heard ringing through the entire floor "I don't give a damn if she is a Daedric Prince, I am going to find her, and then I am going to kill her with my bare hands! Then I shall rip off her head, and mount it on the wall above my throne as a memento of my triumph over her!"

Kasumi shook her head at Zhalavidra's screaming as she walked in. "Talking about me? Oh and keep it down, we have wounded. Oh and I forgot to tell you, Daedric Princes aren't invincible. Immortal yes. But invincible no. They can be killed. They just don't die from old age. I learned this while in the Shivering Isles. But to do so one must also be a Daedric Prince. When I ascended to the throne of Sheogorath I was able to kill Jyggalag, the Daedric Prince of Order. This would also explain why the other Princes feared him enough to seal him in his polar opposite Sheogorath. So before you all get nasty toward us here in Tamriel for being closed minded or whatnot, remember I'm here. I've not only seen and spoken to Dagon, but I fought him as well. I survived while I was a normal Dunmer. Don't lose all hope. I'm sure I can gain allies within' Oblivion and put all of this to rest."
PostPosted: Sat Aug 18, 2007 7:49 am

Zhalavidra laughed nervously, calming down "Oh, um, sorry bout that, no, I wasn't referring to you, but that Brunhylda woman, the one who opened up a large gate in the Twin Realms. She kidnapped my mother right in front of my eyes, and I will not rest until I kill her; I will not allow anyone else to do so, even if it means my going forth into Oblivion to become as you are. Please, allow me to do so, I know I can handle it, I have been through much worse situations than any I could possibly deal with there, I will not fail"

"You have to find a Prince willing to let you take their place. That will be very hard to do. Since as a mortal you can't hurt them so forcing them is out of the question. There is another way. One we were going to try in the last battle with Mehrunes Dagon. But it is only something a Septim can do. And I don't think the Imperium is ready for the loss of another Emperor. Since Mehrunes Dagon is a fallen Divine only an Avatar of a Divine is capable of killing his physical body as I did to Jyggalag. But i have a feeling if I can meet with him none of that will be necessary. He is the Daedric Prince who rules not only the Spheres of Destruction, Change, Revolution, and Energy. But also the God of Bloodshed and Betrayal. Knowing this, if we can provide enough incentive to him it's possible we can get him to betray these people."
PostPosted: Sat Aug 18, 2007 7:12 pm

Zhavajango looked up "Well, we do have some incentive, considering that three completely different realms are involved, and their future is on the line. Of course, I doubt that will be enough. But, I have a plan, and it is worth a shot, if it fails, then I shall die and join my forefathers. If it succeeds, then we will have a Trump card. However, if I am successful, I want Zhalavidra pardoned for taking up for me, and myself and my two pets for the trouble we have wrought. It would be a smart move on your part, as Charybdis and Scylla obey only me, but I don't think Horus or Brunhylda know that yet; I was merely suppose to bring them into this world and keep watch over them until the two of them came and took them as their 'Evil Steeds' you could say. But, I treat them like they are my children, as pets, they care for me as I do them, and hence if I have them fight their original intended masters, they would gladly do so." He stood up and approached Kasumi "I want you to take me to him, whatever rituals or preparations must be made first I am willing to do, but I want you to take me to him, once we are in Oblivion, I will relay my plan to you"

"I honestly don't know how long that will take. It's kind of ironic how the only person with the knowledge of Divine artifacts was severely wounded in your attack on the Imperial City. I have a couple Daedric artifacts given to me by the Princes at their shrines that I don't use. As for your pardon I can't guarantee a thing."
PostPosted: Sat Aug 18, 2007 10:07 pm

Zhalavidra sighed "Yes, quite right, though if you do not recieve your pardon, I suppose it is just a loss of Diplomacy on your part. Either way, it loks as if you will not be welcome here in Tamriel even after all of this, your best bet is to stay out of this world once this all has been done." She turned to Kasumi "I am not certain, but, I believe I may be able to help you with finding someone with knowledge of Divine Artifacts" She opened a portal entered through, and about a few minute later returned with an old sagely looking birdman. She was covered in blood and her clothing and armor was damaged, but she showed no outer signs of any problematic injury. "Zhavajango, I have good and bad news; our tribes have not been massacred, but they are instead being forced into servitude and opression by two men who are in charge under Lord Horus. It seems he is remaining within Oblivion, as a Daedric Prince, and the Atronauch and Clanfear have been terrorizing everyone for the past few days. I myself have spent the past few days in our world fighting them off, protecting your people from them as best I can. Anyway, I have brought your Grand Elder, seeing as the Grand Elder from my tribe is dead. perhaps he can be of use to Kasumi, as he is the one in charge of all of the information on our world and it's dealngs, including Oblivion and the Daedra"

Kasumi cracked a smile and began to laugh when she heard Clanfear. "Atronach I can see but Clanfear being problematic? get behind them and their large protective crest and horns are neutralized. I guess even weak Daedra can be problematic for those who haven't been fighting them off for centuries. Seeing as how you brought this old ruffled bird here I can question it on knowledge of Divine Artifacts. Though I don't know how much it'll know about the Nine Divines. It will be alone as well." She lead the old sage into another room of the temple. About an hour and a half later they came back. "I'm sorry I couldn't help in this dire situation Dunmer. But I thank you for the tactical aid, battle knowledge, and this Staff and spell book. And I rather resent being called an 'old ruffled bird.' And be kind to the people of your world Pillar." "Thank you for information on the current conflict. Just remember those summoning spells require a lot of magicka energy. Take care and fight like Boethiah." She bowed as the Sage nodded and passed through the portal. As the portal closed she sighed. "Well with the information I was able to give and received I can say the battle there should go much smoother. The two men of which he spoke seemed to be spending far too much time in oppressing your peoples instead leading their army. The daedra are pretty much a loose horde of beasts running a muck in a foreign land. Me being Sheogorath, I granted the Sage the ability of summoning a Gate Keeper. It's a pumped up Flesh Atronach that will rip through the current atronach and clanfear army. It will only fall before great warriors and can be easily resummoned. A great tactic for weakening the enemy. I was even wounded pretty badly with my first encounter with a weak one. It can curse the enemy with a single glance lowering their ability to fight and make them over encumbered. I also gave him toned down a copy of my Staff of Wabbajack. And told him to never let it fall in the enemies hands. I know what you're thinking, but it could prove to be very useful or a great threat. It could turn the atronach into a rat or some other small animal. This also works on unprotected humans, elves, orcs, Kajihts, Argonians, lizard and bird folk. So if the Sage can get close to one of those men it can be used to make them an easily killed rat. So before we go to your realm to do battle I'm going to have the mages guild work over time to produce enough armor with Reflect Spell for our military. I'm covered as it wont work on me or those with high innate magic resistance. Also we're taking a trip. Just us three. Ral is going to stay here and hold down this temple. We're going to the Summer Set Isles, land of the Altmer. So get packed for a trip to Bruma and then to Anvil. From there we will go on Ship to the capital of the Summer Set Isles. There is supposed to be untouched Alyid ruins down there. They were the first beings created buy the Nine. So if there are any artifacts left, they'll be there."

Zhavajango made a face as she returned, and his great-uncle left "Um, I guess you filled him in on all the terrible tings I did while here......Damnit, he is going to chew me out big time! Remember when we said that the weight of our people's burden is to be ours? Well, it also means that if we do something degrading, then it is looked down upon to be caught by our own people...my uncle knew nothing of this, just my father knew, but he could not do anything, as he is slave to Lord Horus." He turned and faced everone "I wonder, why have Horus and Brunhylda not yet continued their assault on this realm yet? And why have they not come for Charybdis and Scylla? Either way, dif it is alright with you, I would like to have them stay here and guard the city, in case the two devils show back up. I can have them communicate directly with grand Martin, as they have telepathy. anyway, I am reasdy to go, I already have my pack, I still have six bottles of Skane, that is a special potion only my tribe can make, it heightens the senses and keeps the blood pumping, it allows the body and mind to recuperate as if you are sleeping, while still awake and busy. It may prove useful, as I think ti would be good for one of us to stay awake at all times when we are settled for the night or whatever. I also have ample supply of Phalla berries, they may taste like j**z but a single berry is enough to cure even the most potent and deadly poisons"

"Lucky for you I didn't tell him. We will deal with your deeds when the time comes. After all this is said and done. After all it would only be a disservice to tell an old man his grandson is just as bad as the people he's fighting against. Specially when he has a good chance of dying. Even if it is an honorable death on the battlefield. Telling a person that could easily weaken their resolve and that will demoralize the troops fighting under him. The more confident in his cause, his people, and his family the harder he will fight as will his troops. Even in a dire and hopeless situation." She went down to the armory where she pulled a knight Brother to the side. "Send word to all the mages halls in Tamriel and the lords of the provinces. We require their military forces and to have the mages enchant their armor with reflect spell." She readied her things. She took one lock pick with the Skeleton Key given to her by the Daedric Prince Nocturnal. The Gold Brand given to her by the Daedric Prince Boethiah. She brought Azura's Star, a reusable Black Soul Gem given to her by the Daeric Prince Azura and Mehrune's Razor a dagger capable of slaying a Daedra in a single cut. She also wore her normal armor. It was going to be a long trip so she removed her Daedric heavy armor and replaced it with her enchanted elven light armor. She still wore her Daedric long sword, short sword and dagger on her belt. She also took a repair hammer just incase a weapon began to dull or break. She was a master blacksmith. She placed the remainder of her things she wasn't going to bring in her storage box.
