Not yet discouraged Del continued her search, after all she knew there were more eggs around they just had to be found. Placing her sister momentarily in the hammock she walked a few feet away and jumped into the fountain. Although she knew the area had been searched before she also knew objects in water could be hard to find. Submersing herself she began to swim aroubd using her echolocation to try and detect any eggs.

Diacyn emerged from the bushes egg-less and disapointed, but it didn't weigh him down for long. "Bunnies couldn't s**t eggs. Remember?" he chided Iamel. "We tore one up and it didn't have any egg-laying stuff inside." Like it or not, Taylor's biology studies were rubbing off on him.
"Why would I want to hit your sister?" he added to Savius, subtly stepping back a couple of inches from the sword-swing. "She doesn't look like much of a challenge- but I'd fight your dad. She's tough."
Yes, he remembered the "incident" at the other party.
"Zombies are freaky, but they're always slow. At least in the movies I saw. And death... well, I don't know about that. But Iamel faucets it, so it can't be that bad."
With that, he poked his head back into the bushes for eggs again.
"Ah." Taylor rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "Well. He's been going on about it for days... I don't suppose I can deny him it now. Xaxis is that sick-looking guy, right?"
Why couldn't they have normal names? Like Bob or Billy or something?
"...just... don't let him get ahold of anything pointy. Please. For everyone's sanity."

"Course you do." The Kestrel said, in response to Iamel's statement. There was a sort of absent affection toward the other boy, and he went so far as to reach out and ruffle the more brightly coloured Bird's hair. Maybe the idea of having a brother wouldn't be so bad. It'd be like having Iamel around all the time.
"Dad's a badass." Savius agreed, showing the first hints of pride. Sure... Guardian of Death by violence, deadly bird turned human... but he was still a kid. And for him, that meant a certain amount of affection for his family. Not that he needed them really. He liked them. Like pets. And besides, they didn't push him around. He got to do what he wanted, and usually got them to do what he wanted too.
Picking up on the other's enthusiasm, he joined in the search for ammunition. Soon it would be war. And the world would be theres!
"Lithle, can I go with Savius?" Jer'ain asked, restless in place and anxious to join the boys. Food had already been forgotten, she wanted to be involved too.
"Stay here kid. He's about to get himself in trouble." Lithle responded, frowning toward the Kestrel. There was the kid that had visited, and another boy too... damn. Maybe he needed socialization or something, but more of the bird brats meant more problems. They were bad enough individually, and she didn't want to imagine them in groups.
Absently, she turned the golden wand over in her hands. Would this thing need playgroups too? Was she going to have to babysit a bunch of little sticks?

Sara Two-moons wasn't sure what to think of this little outing. Arriving late (as usual) she carried her whisping wand clutched carefully in her arms. As a non-christian, Sara had not celebrated Easter before, but she had always admired other girls going off to church on Easter sunday in pretty white dresses, with lace and bows. The colored eggs she had seen hidden around her neighborhood hadn't been exactly forbidden in her house... they had just been ignored.
Some strange childish part of her was looking forward to searching for easter eggs for the first time.
She glanced around, dark eyes scanning across the busy scene before her. She hoped that no one would notice her late arrival.

Seeing others scanning the area for eggs, Sara decided that it would be all right if she joined in herself. She set off, her sharp eyes scanning the garden.
Was that something over there in the grass? Sara wasn't certain, but she glanced to each side to try and discern if anyone else had spotted the... whatever it was. Everyone else seemed busy, so she decided to investigate.

Sara brushed back a bit of grass, and smirked as she uncovered a toadstool. She'd gone searching for toadstools as a child, and found quite a few. She used to mix them together with grass and rocks, and pretend that she was a famous chef.
She blushed slightly as she recalled her ridiculous notions as a child. She felt a bit like a child now, searching for eggs, but it was a lighthearted feeling.
She smiled at her whisping wand and spoke aloud, to the whisp or to herself. "We're going to find one of these, if its the last thing we do..."
She set off, persistantly.

Ten minutes of searching yielded nothing. Sara vaguely wondered if all the eggs had already been claimed, and her petty "work" was in vain. She rested for a moment under a shade tree, leaning back against it.
The day was pleasant. She decided that she may as well socialize (a quality which she lacked - she was not a social butterfly, quite the opposite!)
But first she wanted to find an egg. She resolved herself to it.

Sara was beginning to get frustrated with her egg-search. She guessed that she hadn't missed out on a lot as a child, if this was all there was to egg hunting.
She smirked at herself, and chastised herself for letting a child's game make her feel stupid. She decided to lighten up and enjoy the day more.
The sun shone down on her back as she searched, a pleasant feeling. A slight breeze gusted her face, causing the temperature to seem almost perfect. Her eyes darted around as she continued searching.

Both children and adults darted to and fro, trampling the plush green grass. Sara hoped that they weren't smooshing any eggs in their excitement. It would be just her luck to find a crushed egg!
Sara laughed to herself as she thought of crumbly colored egg fragments. She thought that she might like to try and decorate an egg sometime, herself.

A small white butterfly caught Sara's eye as it flitted past. She smiled, and stepped off in the direction of the butterfly. She laughed inside at the frantic fluttering that sent the insect jerking back and forth in a drunken spiral.
"Lead on, butterfly!" she said aloud. "Lead me to the eggs."

Any observer could not have been more suprised than Sara Two-moons, when the little white butterfly carefully lighted down on the tip-top of a perfect round egg! Her eyes widened, and she knelt down beside the egg almost reverently.
The earth spirits were listening to her!
She shook the thought away, deciding it was silly. Why, after all, would the gods of her ancestors would want to help her out with an easter egg hunt of all things?
The butterfly opened and closed its wings slowly as Sara knelt closer, careful not to startle it.
"Look, Too-ya-la-kekt..." she whispered to the whisp from the tip of her wand. "Sister Butterfly is saying hello..."

"The most I know about parenting is take them to the park and let them kill each other," Kierla admitted.
Then she shook her head. "No, no...I'm sick of the fool bugging me to go look for those stupid eggs, by now," Kierla said, (half) joking. "And perhaps they do have somewhat of a sense. Sometimes, Aricia as a wisp would seem to nod at something I say, but I don't really know if it was nodding or it was just the wind."
Kierla blinked. "Really, you don't mind. I'll look for eggs with you, then. It's better than looking for them alone, anyhow, or with that insufferable pink nuisance of a ghost."
Apparently she wasn't too fond of her little Pegasus ghost...
"My sister threatened to bulldozer my house if I don't bring back a lot of eggs," Kierla explained, as she looked through the grass and took a bite of her sandwich. "Do you have any siblings?" Kierla tried to imagine many more of strange butterfly-human creatures.
