Yesterday, our band went to a contest in Harlandale and we didn't place. :'( But, that's okay. That was the best our band had ever done. xD I just hope we do that well on Tuesday. That's when we go to UIL! Wish us luck!

I'm proud to say our colorguard has gotten in 1st place out of all in every competition we've been to so far. I'm not in it, but I'm really proud of them. I'm in the band. And so far the band has won their class every competition. We're doing well in my opinion. Tomorrow we have a competition that is one of the biggest in the state. It's called Ancient City Presentation of Bands. Guess what? blaugh If we do well we don't have practice next week. w00t

Our band had no theme... just random swing songs
like "Boogie Down" "Five guys named moe" and "Dont get around much"

. . Our colorguard's been world champs for seven years...or was it eight? years in a row. o.o WGI. xD Last year at prelims, they got us our only caption award, and we placed first by .1 because they saved us. Eternally grateful, we are.
We never get to skip a rehersal unless the weather's horrible. Our woodwind pads will fall off. x.x No matter how good we are, out BDs jump at chances to give us practice. Even if it's between prelims and finals at champs. x.x;; I miss it, now that marching season's over...DDDx s n o w

I don't actually do feild shows yet but my sis' was winds and percussion in motion. totally lame name but totally cool still. In my marching band we stoped for holiday music like six weeks ago so I'm now bored having nothing to do except home work

I don't know the theme for this year yet, but last year we did Jump and Tainted Love and a Christmas parade, but the solo for the Xmas part sucked... but the year before that was about the same, we had horrible music to play (Mama Mia- Dancing Queen opposed to the Star Wars we could've done!!!!!!!) But a kick butt Drum Solo!!!! The year before that was the Best!!! We had Pirates of the Carribean Music Freshman year!!!! heart ninja heart
