How long you've been on Gaia: I signed up in the olden days, left for a while and came back because this site still has the best dress up options.
Favorite Dress up item(s): I use the harvest moon items to alter eyes a lot, apart from that it changes around.
What inspires your avatars?: Runway themes, AT challenges, trying to sort out my inventory which inevitably leads me to trying out combos with old items and keeping them anyway.
What you hope to get out of the guild: It would be nice to make some new friends as well as hear about different approaches to avatar creation
A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!): I pick up too many cheap-ish items from the MP.

oh i'm sorry i forgot to introduce myself yesterday Name or Nickname: newt Age: 25 How long you've been on Gaia: only for a month honestly Favorite Dress up item(s):     What inspires your avatars?: i like making ocs and gaia is the perfect outlet to do so What you hope to get out of the guild: more inspiration! A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!): i'm very much with Aeternam and any other user who agrees in that i love fashion irl and love being able to put together my spare funds towards wearing as fun of clothes as i can, although since i've been in-between jobs so often and am currently unemployed i'm limited on what i can do dress up games, including gaia, have been nice ways for me to plan out outfits too so it's cool that there's still a community on here that i can share that passion with others outside of fashion though i mainly work in food service and i used to be a cake decorator (and would love to get certified to be a pastry chef to do that more often), so in general i love art of all varieties!

Reiirin A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!): I pick up too many cheap-ish items from the MP. Hi Reii and welcome! I also enjoy buying cheap MP items. I have recently tried to organize my invo by color although some of the schemes make it hard and the older items especially that don't follow a particular scheme. I tend to buy whatever I think is nice even if it one pose that I like. Although sometimes I lose those items in my invo and forget what I bought the item for. (usually it is for hair/eyes/lips) And I forget to use them when building since the tagging of the old items is awful.

Welcome! I love the consort selene item..so pretty! I have been collecting most of the colors of Spring Fawn, Kaguyahime, and Witch of Fate. Also some of the cheaper colors of Valinor's blessing. I love the fancy dresses and hair. Plus anything with a circlet/headdress I am into. I am crap at making modern and simple looking avatars though maybe because I find them boring or too close to real life. I hope you find lots of inspo here! There are also lots of people willing to give advice on something you are working on. Also cake decorating sounds so fun! I am a decent baker but my decorating skills aren't great. I hope you have the opportunity to pursue that.

Wow since 4th grade! I love your plant inspired aesthetic. I feel like you and coppercup (another member with a plant aesthetic) would be friends. What do you use your herbalism knowledge for? Is it like essential oils and stuff? Or like teas and at home remedies?

If I see something for a character I try to get it when I see it. My current avi is supposed to be based off of the new cruella de ville movie. Otherwise my favorite colors are pink and blue. I really like anything that sparkles and is pastel as well. I was on more back in 2008 so I do try to get those og items, even though some are cheaper now than they were. I’m new to the whole color scheme thing it’s kind of confusing and overwhelming for me.

Name or Nickname: Olivia Age: 23 How long you've been on Gaia: 2013 Favorite Dress up item(s): I always try to use Lash Out, some sort of blush (like Youthful Blush, Slash Blush, or Across Blush), and elf ears (like Halfling Ears, Sylvan Elf Ears or the ears in Your Dilemma) What inspires your avatars?: It varies. Most of the time, I create an entire avatar inspired by a single item. I tend to lean more towards elves and fantasy themed avatars but I try to expand to new areas as much as possible. What you hope to get out of the guild: I'd love to be able to talk to other people who enjoy creating avatars and learn about their process of creating new avis. I'd also really like to join contests (when I have the time) and be able to discover new items! To start, I work in the animation/film industry but more on the technical side of things. How long you've been on Gaia: 2009 or 2010, I think?
Favorite Dress up item(s): Alleycat's Nose (usually layered with the His Reign nose), eyebrow items, Me Day, The Ringmaster's Show. I'm so obsessed with circus items that half a page of my invo is nothing but those.
What inspires your avatars?: Usually I try to make outfits for my OCs from writing. Otherwise, I like my avatars to look like they *could* be characters in something. If it's not circus performers, it's wizards, royals, knights, sci-fi, or gods/goddesses. I also like to mix aesthetics.
What you hope to get out of the guild: People to geek out about avatars with.
A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!): I'm just as obsessed with outfit-making offline as on. Also really into internet mysteries, Neil Gaiman, and reading plays.

Hi! My name is afantasticlie and I don't really have a nickname. I guess I can be OK with Liar? I hadn't thought I would actually join any communities so a username that can be simplified wasn't a top priority, lol. I'm also in my mid twenties.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ON GAIA
I had first joined Gaia back in 2008 and stayed up until 2012, I think. I came back around 2018, creating a fresh start with a new account then shortly taking a hiatus after two-ish years. Been officially back for the passed year, I believe. Maybe a bit longer.
FAVORITE ITEMS?
I love, love LOVE my SDPlus skin dolls and Invisibility Cloak. My background items are some things I love, too. I'll have a more complete list in my closet once I'm done compiling it.
WHAT INSPIRES YOUR AVATARS?
Normally, an item spurs my creative juices. Though a new color scheme or event can play a part. Fantasy is primarily what I work with. Making avis is a stress relief.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GET FROM THE GUILD?
I don't know what to really expect from this guild itself, though I did join primarily to find new item guides and see new styles. Maybe find some comradery.
TELL A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF!
I'm an introvert. I do talk, but it can be exhausting so constant chatter is hard for me. My time and schedule is also mainly spoken for between the multitude of responsibilities I've taken on, but I'll try hard to be an active member as much as I humanly can! Holidays, though, is far too stressful. I'm also a very private person and don't enjoy talking about my life in defined detail. A vague hint here and there, if I do at all. As for interests, I love cats, birds, and rodents. My favorite genres are horror, mystery, and fantasy. I draw, paint, and, at times, write. I also like it when things are neat and have a order, so I tend to enter things far passed a time I would've liked.
