Scuro looks around and notices the pony across the lake. Hes surprised to see someone there but decides that it's probably for the best to not say anything at all. If he were to say something it would have been no, but saying nothing at all was better in this instance. He doesnt say much normally anyways, so this wasnt out of character for him.

Phaedra had endured crossing the water last time in order to eliminate the risk of falling in without permission... But there was no way she was doing it again with this even nastier, bubbling variety. She decided to ask as politely as possible before taking the path. There was no telling if it would still count but couldn't hurt to try. "Hello~ If by chance I fall may I please have safe passage?"

After reaching the other side of the meadow, a unicorn cake into view, practically begging for asylum. Stardust, remembering the rules upon entering the swamp, opted for saying nothing at all and instead ignoring the other pony. It hurt her heart, but it was everything her brain was telling her to do.

The water bubbles occasionally around you and the mud sucks at your feet, but you've almost made it to the other side when you notice eyes just breaking the surface of the water. It's a aligator and it's watching you. Maybe if you move carefully it won't come after you?

The path skirting the edge of the water slopes upward, but it only seems to get thinner as it goes and definitely isn't wing-friendly. You glance down, pebbles and dirt following your gaze and below you there seems to be a strange log looking up at you. Wait, that's no log! That's an aligator and it seems to think you might be lunch, but you're too high for it to reach. Just as you think that though, you stumble over a partly hidden root!

He made a mental note to thank whatever it was he was asking safe passage from once he was across. Manners were important, after all.

I plead with you for it to be safe.” With that she was going to trust the water after all there was no other way forward then this that she could see.
