Cody looked at her as she spoke and rolled his eyes, Mia looked over at him but he shook his head not to bother her. Mia nodded and would scurry off to go do whatever Mia did when they werent around. She had a security function, and occasionally pest control ironically with her being a spider. When Kaylee looked at her phone, he could almost see the roller coaster of emotions she went through til she threw her phone and stormed off to her room. He walked over and picked up her phone and read what she had. Seemed this chad fellow was Wallace's ancestor, and he guessed she was having a crush on him. He sighed but then closed the app and took the phone with him. After a little bit, he had a plate of seasoned sauteed chicken with some veggies and rice. He held the plate as hetried the door, finding it locked, which he shook his head and swipped his hand over the panel. A holo keypad opened and he put in the emergency open code he had which unlocked and opened her door. He stepped in seeing her curled up on her bed, ignoring any cries of sadness and anger she probably threw at him. He set the plate on her bedside table as well as her phone, "Im just gonna say, I understand that all this is new, all of this is not what you wanted and im sorry. Not everything goes the way you want, things happen and we move on, its life." He said as his robotic hands clinched some as he thought about how the past couldnt be changed, "Im sorry if you dislike me for being bluntly honest, but you need to hear this from someone kind. Your life is different now, your alive, you can still have a life even if its in this time. I mean, you just threw your brand new phone because the guy you liked married someone else. I dont know what relations you had with them but they are gone now, hate for them seems wasted with being lost to time. Think about it, you hurt the feelings of a little girl A.I., you're being lectured by a cybernetically altered human and you have a flight to go visit the beaches of venus, the 2nd planet from the sun." He stated as he looked at her, "I want to help, and for you to know that you arent alone." He said as he then left and closed the door behind him. He was honest with her and knew she was wasting emotions on the past, which was history that cant be changed, a situation he knew all too well.

Cody had left her room and had cleaned up, eaten his own plate of food and just began to mess with things. When he finished, he spent the next three hours just hanging out, getting things packed for their trip as he then went to the living room and laid out, putting on the holo glasses he had. His was set to have a display of a tv that was invisible to others hover above him on the ceiling as he watched a movie. It was basically over when he heard the actual tv turn on as he removed the glasses and looked over at her, "Hey Kaylee..." he said as he looked at her, "Youre a mess... im just gonna put that out there." He said as he looked at her, "Kaylee, im not sorry for what I said earlier and the past is hard to give up, but what you need to hear right now is the truth. If i sit here and try lying to you, its not going to help you get better. Trust me, when i woke up with the temporary prothetic limbs, i felt lost, for months i had whats called phantom limb symptoms. It accidentally picked up a knife by its blade once and dropped it because i thought i felt it cut my fingers, only to find that their wasnt even a scrap. I touch the counters of my kitchen counter in the morning, my finger tips felt cold to the cool marble. I would look at my hands however, the pressure sensors allow me to know im touching something but these feelings... gone." He said softly as he looked at his hands, "You have lost so much more then me, i know this is the truth but if you need someone to speak to about loss, its better to talk then force yourself to be alone." He spoke, hoping she would at least open up or at least maybe let go of the built up emotions.

He looked at her as she spoke, hearing her tone but he shook his head, "Fine... whatever, but im just gonna say this, youve been asleep 300 hundred years and now your wasting even more time, curled up on a couch. Ill let you be sad but do you want me to cancel our trip tomorrow? I can leave for venus, you can stay here alone to get over the past thats already happen." He said as he got up, "I mean, its whatever." He said as he looked at her, "Just because it hurts emotionally doesnt mean you need to drown in the sorry, you pick yourself up, and move on. Time stops for no one... waits for no one." He said softly, "We all lose people we love, people who are important to us... nothing we do can save them." He said softly, not trying to be depressing or hurtful, it was the brutal truth and once its accepted, then hopefully she will move on. He sighed, "Im going to get ready for bed and get ready for the flight, if you want to stay, then by all means, ill leave you alone." He said as he walked to his room which Mia looked at him and wanted to help Kaylee. She stayed at the far end of the couch, "Kaylee... can i get you anything?" She asked nervously, wanting to help cheer up Kaylee but seemed hesitant around her.

Mia relaxed when Kaylee didnt yell at her but seeing her cry, she did leave, scurring off the couch as her little legs tapped across the floor but the sound increased when she returned. She had grabbed a box of tissues and brought them to her, "Boys are dumb." She said kindly as the little spider looked at her, but she didnt give any advice, she wasnt entirely sure what to say, "Um... im not use to this... um..." he little front legs began to fidget, almost like a person twirling their thumbs, she had no idea how to help with someone dealing with sadness, seeing as Cody had usually closed himself off or just seemed aggitated more then sad, "I dont know much about sadness... Cody doesnt get sad like you... after you two fought after i scared you. When you left this morning, he was grumbling and angry but ive never seen him pace so much. He almost called the bank 5 times wanting to see if you had gotten their safely or if you were still there." She said innocently calling Cody out.

Mia seemed to 'clap' her fromt legs together when Kaylee seemed to positively respond, she felt like she did the right thing. When Kaylee went to her room and waved her to follow, the spider happily nodded and scurred to her room and crawled up onto the bed and 'sat' in front of the lounging Kaylee, "Well he was pacing a lot before you called, i think i heard him say he was about to call his dad when the phone rang. Then when you spoke with him, when you hung up, he didnt seem relieved after you mentioned being kidnapped. He was practically freaking out that i think his arm stopped working properly because his brain chemistry was so out of wack." She explained as she thought it over, "Ive never seen Cody act like this and it only seems to be about you... which is odd. Also, i heard him mumbling about Wallace, calling him a... well actually Cody blacklisted the names he called him so im not allowed to repeat them." She explained softly.

Mia tilted her head, tilting it 90 degrees to look at Kaylee as she laid on her side, "Baby sit... but you arent a baby?" She asked as she didnt know the term and did a quick web search, almost shacking her head when she found it instantly, " Oh, but he likes hanging out with you... in fact, he has a video log about you." She said as she stepped back, her back abdomen opened revealing a camera like aperature appeared. A holo screen opened and Cody appeared, a video of him in his room, "Alright, im documenting this because well, i have nothing better to do while repairing my arm..." he said as this was when he had his arm removed as he was fixing it, "So the date is marked and ive discovered a woman, she lived 300 years ago and is lost... and i know she has been getting frusterated, but ive learned where he surviving family members are and i hope that will help. She has no one so i want to help her and honestly, she kind of awesome. Shes beautiful, kind yet stubborn, and i really hope she doesnt hear this... but im truly happy i found her because shes just amazing to know, to see her excitement of what lies before her, makes you cherish what humanity... is left..." he said as he struggled with the arm, using his mouth to hold one tool as his other hand used another. He struggled til he got annoyed and threw the tool angrily as the video cut off.

Mia wasnt sure why but nodded, her abdomen closed as the holo screen disappeared but she made sure to promise not to tell him she saw the video that she probably wasnt suppose to tell but before she got into the shower, Mia blinked, "Bro is signalling me to come recharge, he wants me to be ready for the trip, ill tel him you want to go since i can say that we talked because i was asking about girl stuff... he knows he doesnt like when i ask him about it, which he doesnt like explaining since they dont affect me since im not actually a girl but!" She had gone off track, "But ill tell him you said you wanted to go still, if youre going to be sad, might as well be sad on a beach!" She said not giving Kaylee much of a vote as she scurried out of the room back to Cody's room to go recharge.
