Thanoth is down her right eye and headknob, her right arm almost entirely, and the majority of her right wingsail—it’s really just tatters and strings between what’s left of her wingbones. Scarring covers much of her neck on the right side, and across her chest on that side to her shoulder. She looks like death warmed over—which amuses her almost enough to make it worth it to her. V’tre lost his right foot and leg to the mid-calf. If you look closely at the scarring on Thanoth’s shoulder, you can see a faintly leg-shaped patch where there is no scarring.

Your dragon bit his or her tongue HARD. The pain is enough to keep you irritable for a few days because it was a pretty nasty and bad bite. There's also only so much you're able to do to help them given it is a mouth injury, and any numbweed needs to be injected into the tongue itself, and wears off far too quickly.

You're temporarily grounded until the wingsail heals, which could take anywhere from 3 sevendays to 3 months. This means no flying until you're given clearance from the dragonhealers. Tough luck, but at least the damage isn't permanent. We hope. I'm a coward and since they've been through this once before gonna go with a month of grounding instead of rolling and maybe ending up with three. orz

You done messed up--bad. In fact, whatever you and your dragon did wound up causing a wingmate severe injury! [Possibly flamed them instead of Thread, possibly flew into their air-space causing them to veer and get hit by Thread, etc.] If you've an active Wingleader, OOCly, you should let them know. Feel free to work out what happened--could even be the cause of death to a poor NPC. Either way, it's bad. Have fun angsting and feeling shame!
