Okay... wow... I am so sorry. So much has happened since the last time I was really online... So I went off to have my wedding. On the way there, my mother was emitted into the emergency room with a collapsed lung. she was in the hospital for 10 days. I still got married but essentially the honeymoon ended hella early. Now my mom can't work. and she can't live in her apartment in LA with no job so she has to move in with me in a different city so I can take care of her. but she is currently taking care of my uncle so I have to take care of them both. my one bedroom apartment couldn't fit us all so I had to find a house to rent. We want to move them up here by the end of Jan so we found a house and moved ourselves in. currently unpacking everything... we have about a month to settle in before they get there. I have to go down to LA after Christmas to help my mom pack, sell, and get rid of 20 years worth of stuff... and I graduate this week.

My life sounds so crazy when I write it all out like this lol... I'm going to get a response in today! But I might be pretty much a ghost for a while after...

Being half sleep, Gabe just pulled Lotor closer when the alien tried to wiggle free from their warm nest. The human groaned when Lotor shifted and rocked them, pulling Gabriel from his slumber a bit. He mumbled something unintelligible into the pillow and reluctantly let Lotor go. He immediately curled up in the warm spot Lotor vacated and hummed as he inhaled the smell remaining on the pillow and drifted back to sleep, mostly.

The bed dipped some time later and shifted Gabe with it. He curled into himself a bit more, fighting wakefulness as much as he could. But Lotor’s soft lips coaxed his consciousness to the surface again. He groaned a bit, but then the words his mate uttered registered and his eyes shot open. “I’m up! I’m awake! Yes, come on, we got to get ready.” He mumbled, obvious still waking up. He sat up and tried to untangle himself from the blanket, failing cutely. His brows furrowed as he looked at the blanket with confusion. “Lotor… help…” he sounded like a pouting child as he tried to pull at the blankets that were wrapped around his legs.

Gabriel hummed and leaned into his mate. “That could be fun… Maybe we should try that something… you could try that on me…” he mumbled as he leaned back against his lover and tilted his head back till it rested on Lotor’s shoulder, baring his throat. He was playing up being so groggy and half asleep, essentially being a bit of a brat. But he knew Lotor didn’t mind catering to him when he was being cute. Brows furrowed when Lotor mentioned bruises. “Did I hurt you?” he asked, ‘waking up’ a bit more, lifting a hand to rub his eyes. He tried to turn around and inspect his mate and the damage he apparently caused last night. But, Lotor nuzzled into him and mumbled against his skin and something settled in Gabe’s chest. He smiled and hummed, relaxing in his mate’s arms again.

That was until he felt teeth on his neck. He gasped and froze with anticipation. He shuddered at the promise and nodded his head, aborting the action so that he wouldn’t dislodge his mate. “Yes, please.” He whispered, arousal thick in his voice. An obvious physical reaction made it impossible for Gabriel to hide how affected he was by those words. But then Lotor slipped away. Gabe whimpered as he followed Lotor to the bathroom and into the shower.

He willed his erection down as he stood in the spray a minute and gave his mate’s question some consideration. “Oh, what’s that?” he asked, stepping out of the way so he could start washing his body as Lotor rinsed out his hair. They worked around each other easily, comfortable and at ease… so domesticated but it just felt so right. But at Lotor’s words Gabe froze, blinked, turned slowly to look at his mate and took in his mate’s appearance. Lotor wanted to make them rings… like wedding bands. He wasn’t sure why that was so surprising to him… they were already closer than any married couple on earth could ever be… they were essentially married as they were… “Lotor…” he reached out with a clean, water rinsed hand and cupped the side of Lotor’s face.

He gently forced the male to step out of the spray and look up from the ground he was staring at intently. Lotor was so cute when he blushed. And man was he blushing, brightly, all the way down his beautiful neck… the blueish tint seemed to even reach his collarbones in the light. “You’re talking about wedding rings… do you-“ he paused and brushed his thumb along a high cheek bone. He was probably giving Lotor a bad feeling, with the shock, surprise, confusion and awe that he knew he couldn’t hide from his mate due to their bond. “Are you asking me to marry you?” he asked, feeling a silly asking the question but he could help the fond and loving smile that followed.

Lotor wasn’t able to ask before mating with him. The bond just formed. And Gabriel remembered how angry he had felt, not having been given a choice. So ya, maybe he wanted Lotor to ask… even if literally nothing would change between then. Maybe it was his romantic side acting up but… he wanted to be with Lotor for the rest of his life. He wanted to show the world that he was Lotor’s and Lotor’s was his. And rings would… they would do just that… but it was a bit more, solid that just telling the world they were dating… and Gabe found himself liking the idea. “Well, if you aren’t… then I think I’m going to ask you.” Gabe used his other hand to grab Lotor’s wrist. He brought his mate’s hand to their bond mark on his head, smiling loving. He quickly placed his other wrist on his mate’s bond mark and revealed in the sing he felt as their bond vibrated between them. “Lotor, would you marry me?”

Gabriel felt his heart drop to the bottom of his stomach at Lotor’s no. How could he say no? What did that even mean? Luckily, his mate wasn’t cruel and didn’t let him panic for too long. His heart jumped back up to his chest, thumping hard against his breastbone. Gabe hugged his mate tightly, laughing happily as he reeled from the rollercoaster of emotions he was experiencing. Their kiss was hard and frantic, and Gabe could feel Lotor’s smile. He couldn’t keep himself from smiling either.

Gabe took half a step back when Lotor lowered him and knelt to the ground. Confused for a moment, Gabe stared at his mate, hardly even noticing the spray of water from the shower, or their bare nature. He was completely focused on Lotor and his words. He could feel his eyes sting a bit from Lotor’s vows. “Yes, I want all of it… all of you.” He reached down, taking Lotor’s hand and pulled him up into a kiss. He wrapped his arms tightly around Lotor’s waist, and up his back, deepening the kiss a moment before he broke away, breathless. He smiled and leaned into his mate. “Yes… No… maybe…” he laughed at himself. “I want your craftsmanship on my finger, but I also want to tell the world your mine right this second…” he said, sounding torn.

He should probably be thinking about the consequences of announcing their engagement to the public, instead of moving slowly (boyfriends first, engaged later). But right now, Gabe could only smile and kiss Lotor passionately as he reviewed the last couple of minutes in his head. “I want our rings to match… Maybe we can make them together?” he suggested, never once breaking contact with his fiancé. Oh god! His Fiancé!

Gabe laughed and quickly followed his fiancé out of the shower. They both dried off, helping each other had getting in each other’s way along the way. It made Gabe giggle. He dressed quickly and took Lotor’s hand. He forced himself to walk to the lab, instead of running in his excitement. “That sounds perfect, love.” He said with the brightest smile. Of course, Lotor would have some advanced technology that could make their rings easily. His mate was so intelligent! God, how did Gabe get so lucky? He beamed at his fiancé as they made their way to Lotor’s desk. He laughed good heartedly when he was pulled into Lotor’s lap. He situated himself on Lotor’s lap and wrapped an arm around Lotor’s shoulders to keep himself steady (and close to his love).

The human gave their ring design some thought. “I want something different. You’re special and deserve something better than a simple band.” He leaned in and kissed Lotor’s temple. “I’m thinking a dark metal… maybe black? The dark will look great in contrast to your skin.” His free hand laced itself with Lotor’s fingers and pressed that hand into his side, above his hip. He started to describe the ring that was in his head and the program started to create a 3D hologram. Gabe made some more comments, changed the overall shape of the band to bend in the front into a diamond shape. He wanted to add a stone but… nothing seemed to look right in his head. He didn’t want to add more darkness to the ring, but the stone color couldn’t contrast too harshly with Lotor’s skin tone… sigh. Adding texture and some small diamonds at the points helped. But now the middle of the ring looked so empty.

Luckily (and of course) his mate had the perfect fix. Gabe looked down at his mate when Lotor spoke, sounding nervous. Gabe just smiled. “Anything you want love, it’s going to be your ring too.” He pressed another kiss to Lotor’s temple as the male pressed a couple buttons and revealed two crystal shards. Gabriel gasped, studying them intensely as Lotor explained their origin. “They are beautiful, Lotor.” He said, awe and amassment evident in his voice. As simple command to the computer program and an image of the crystals were overlaid over the ring design. “What do you think, Ni Miri?” he asked, hopefully.

Once the ring design was approved by both of them, the crafting process was started, Gabe shifted, moving his arm and leaned back into his love’s chest. He tilted his head back and rested it on Lotor’s shoulder. “How do you want to tell the world?” he asked, tilted his head towards Lotor, making his breath tickle along Lotor’s throat. “We could do a public proposal? Go out to dinner, be seen together, and at the end of the night, one of us gets down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant.” Gabe couldn’t help but smirk imagining it. “Or we could take picture of our hands, rings showing, and you can post it to social media.” He laughed. “Just caption ‘He said yes!’ and watch the internet explode.” He giggled, leaning in to press a smiling kiss under Lotor’s ear.

Ring

Gabriel nodded, loving the idea of taking Lotor out to dinner. “I like that plan. I get to dress you up, take you out, and show you off.” He said happily, leaning into his mate’s touch with a love-sick smile. Sooner than Gabriel could believe, the machine was finished with their rings and as the little doors opened to reveal the finished product, Gabe couldn’t help but gasp as it’s beauty. He watched, stunned and in awe as Lotor lifted the first ring, and without preamble, slipped the band onto his ring finger. The fit was perfect, of course it was! Everything Lotor made was perfect.

Gabe glanced up from the ring on his finger to Lotor’s eyes as the male spoke. And he couldn’t help the stinging from unshed tears that threatened to fall. “You’re supposed to save the vows for the wedding, you know…” he said, his voice cracking a bit which made him laugh, a wet chuckle. He reached for Lotor’s ring and cradled Lotor’s hand in his as he slipped on the ring. The color contrast against Lotor’s skin was perfect, just as he imagined it. “You know I’m not good with pretty words… but I promise to love you with every fiber of my being… I will fight for your happiness and well being above all else… and I will strive to keep you happy for the rest of our days.” He said, placing a kiss on Lotor’s knuckle.

The human shifted, straddling Lotor’s hips and pressed into him, wrapping his arms around Lotor’s neck and buried his hands into those white locks. He leaned in, and kissed his now fiancé, quickly prying the male’s mouth open with his tongue to deepen the kiss. He had to express his love physically, right now, or he might explode. He moaned into the kiss and shifted his hips, pressing downward, trying to rile his fiancé up as well. Fiancé … He was never going to grow tired of that!

Gabriel had to bite back an embarrassing whine when Lotor broke their kiss. He shifted his hips again but paused when Lotor mentioned moving back to the bedroom. He was totally for that plan, even though they had just woken up and started their day. Seriously, it felt like they’d been up for hours but really, they hadn’t accomplished much today… showered, proposed, and made their rings… they ate somewhere in between all that (I think). Gabriel wrapped his legs around Lotor’s waist, marveling in his soon-to-be husband’s strength. “Hey, that was fun and you know it.” He teased, before tilting his head to the side to give Lotor better access to his neck. He moaned as sharp teeth nibbled on the sensitive flesh there.

He was placed on the bed and Gabriel stretched his arms above his head, promptly not thinking about how aroused and needy he probably looked. He hungry met Lotor’s lips for another kiss, but his mate was being cheeky. How would they entertain themselves? Really? Gabriel moaned as Lotor’s hand trailed up bare skin, ruffling his shirt. Gabriel’s spin arched, trying to get Lotor to touch him more. But the cheeky b*****d was being a tease. “The News?! Really, Lotor?” he panted, eyebrow raised at his mate’s antics. “Is that really want you want to do right now? There’s not… something better you can think of doing?” he asked, shifting his hips and legs so that he could rut against Lotor, trying to encourage his mate to imagine more… creative uses of their time.

But Gabriel could be cheeky too. “Well, if you really want to watch the news…” he said before Lotor could voice other options. He wiggled, using a hand to push Lotor up so that he had enough room and flip over onto all fours. He arched his back and stuck his butt out, teasing as he crawled the short distance to the other side of the bed, where the remote sat. “We can watch the News.” He said, putting on a show as he reached for the remote, glancing back at Lotor over his shoulder. He could imagine the picture he was painting, tight pants, back arched, lips bruised from hot kisses.
