For a fleeting moment, Alicia had thought that they were done. The giant kraken was slain and with that, the receding of the water meant that their business was done here. Right?
Turning to start heading back to the dorms, the Sun trainee was blissfully oblivious to the tsunami that came up from behind her until the moment when the gigantic wave came crashing down and there was water everywhere around her all of a sudden. Despite trying her best to fight against the water current and grab onto anything that could help to keep her from being carried away, it all turned out to be futile in the end for the next thing she knew when she regained consciousness, Alicia found that she was now on another island that was definitely not Deus.
"Ho boy... first the Sahara desert. Now this." She sighed as she picked herself up. She was drenched all over. Inside out. Ugh. What she would give to have a shower and a set of dry clothes to change into right now.
Scanning the horizon to see if she could spot anything interesting or help clue her in on where they could be, Alicia started running the instant she saw someone, a girl (Gretchen), who was struggling in the water and a guy (Dawson) who was already swimming out to help get her to the shore. The guy looked like he could handle himself and had the situation under control so she decided that it was probably for the best that she waited at the shore to see if they still needed her help.
"How is she? Is she alright?"
She called out to the both of them as soon as they were within earshot. If anything, she could probably help carry the girl to the nearest shady spot so that they would be sheltered from the sun's scorching rays.

{Not-Shu}
When the petite Death huntress still confused about Mimsy's brother who was now close to the age of a middle aged man, the giant squid finally knocked down by their collective effort. She contradictively made a relief sigh and disappointed she missed another chance.
Once the creature was down, the sky had stopped raining temporarily. The Asian unsummoned the hammer to squeeze the water from her wet garment, weight added and sogginess were annoying. She was thinking about heading back to her room and called it a day when someone yelled "RUN!" as they pointed towards the direction of the ocean in an exaggerated manner.
Just a quick glance and the vigilant huntress sensing danger was already fleeing towards the land, further off the shore, the water curled up as high as a tall building, gradually shadowed the entire shore. The moment before her foot was on the soft golden sand, the next moment she was dragged off, slapped by a huge wave and pressed below the water.
She was glad she asked Jordan to teach her how to swim, even drowning was a terrible sensation, her mind was not a mess and could process properly. It felt like garment in a rumbling washing machine, the rough current pulled her left and right and up and down. Nausea was a fitted word to describe that, besides the inevitable urgent desire for oxygen and get rid of the pressure. The petite huntress tried her best to focus, not to lose her consciousness. With her effort, she made out a few people floated-sank in the current as well -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drenched from head to toes, the petite huntress panted and coughed vigorously, knelt on the ground, her arms supporting her body were still trembling. Flinched for the dropped temperature of her body as she had stayed in the water quite long, the petite huntress was as pitiful as a wet kitten holding herself. She also gulfed in abundant air greedily until she resumed.
Once she was fine, she carefully stood up and realized it wasn't the shore they were at. Nearby, there was a palm tree but the Deus beach didn't have palm trees. They were all swept away to an unknown small island.
Hearing Jordan's voice, she checked her pendant as well. It wasn't working, she turned her back to the Sun hunter, hid her face from him. She was glad he was alright, Rep and Harrison should be good too, they were both capable men.
The petite huntress worked her way to dodge the crowd while wandered around to check on people she cared. In a happenstance, she found Mimsy's brother and younger America were with him. She quickly hid behind a tree, watching both with interest. Their conversation was akin to speed dating? It didn't help when she recalled the hunter seemed to get a girlfriend called Sam and the petite huntress quickly concluded that he might be cheating.
It was none of her business, but when she thought about how sad Mimsy would be, it bothered her and she decided to do nothing but watched more. Had they broken up? Her mind was spinning quickly as she continued to peek.

Zeke plopped down in the sand next to Ever once he was certain the Life Hunter was alright, relatively. He was watching him though, trying to readpast the confusion, but that was about all he was seeing. After a moment he finally just asked. "Are you okay?"
And as he waited, attention still on the other man, he was checking his pockets. Lighter, pack of smokes(probably ruined), bandages, daggers, phone (hopefully not ruined).
Gretchen clung to the arm that had looped around her and hauled her up, coughing and sputtering as her savior brought the both of them to shore. "You're kinda a hero, Dawson Grace," managed to get out between coughing up seawater.
Once in the shallows she could get her feet beneath her again and they could just walk back out. That she'd needed saving left a rosy tiny on her cheeks, but she was smiling, grateful for the Moon she was leaning against until they were out of the water completely. "Thank you."
To the girl that had been shouting to them she'd nod. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry to alarm ya." It came out in a drawl, a little thicker than normal thanks to the stress.

"Naw," Dawson said bashfully, "just a Moon."
Gretchen looked alright, minus being a little waterlogged, so he nodded to the other girl in response. "Can ya get her somewhere shady 'til she catches her breath? Think I'm gonna go ahead n' catch the lot've us some dinner while I can still see." Hopefully.
Dawson had been on many dives before. He knew what sort of weird a** creatures could be lurking about.
Making sure America was still in line of sight, he pulled his runic trap gun and waded back into the water. He was patient and still, letting several fish come closer to him before he shot the net.
"HOO! C'mere, big boy!"

"That's...health points, right? Some water in my ears and dizziness, but fine," Sam reported with a glance up at Kammy. "I have no idea what happened with that creature. But we should probably find some shelter before we do anything else. And fresh water."
There was a cove nearby that at the least provided shelter, by the looks of it. She pointed it out as she got to her feet, dipping her toes into the rock pool to make sure there weren't any abrasions she had missed. Sunsinger crooned softly that she was doing just fine, but Sam liked to check for herself.
"Is your phone working?" she asked, as if just a little too afraid to see for herself. "I doubt it is, but, well...We have to check every available option, no matter how farfetched."
