[I will set it up soon. twisted ][Sounds great!] [ http://www.boardgamecapital.com/life-rules.htm That is a how to play page to help you] "Okay." Samantha placed her car at the 'Start Career' space. She gave Stacy two $20,000 bank loan paper things and gave them both $10,000 to start with, "I have to start off my picking a Career and Salary." she picked up the blue card pile, shuffled it and fanned out the cards. Picking three she stacked up the pile and put it back. She took a look at what cards she had pulled It was a choice between Artist, Engineer, and Athlete. Hmmmm what to choose. Samantha ended up picking the Artist. '[Athlete, Artist, Teacher, Doctor, Computer Consultant, Salesperson, Accountant, Entertainer, Police Officer(If you spin a 10, you get to collect $5,000 from the player] [Some careers you have to have a college degree]She did the same thing with the Salary pile. She had a choice between 20K, 30K, and 40K. Sighing she picked the $40,000 car and replaced the others [Salary cards range from 20,000 to 100,000.]"Time to roll!" She spun the spinner and got a 4. She moved her car, "Your turn. "Oh and Car Insurance costs 10,000. But you can worry about that later."

"Alright. I, umm, guess I should draw a card now?" Hoping she was doing it right, Stacy drew three cards from the deck like Samantha. She picked the one that was most appealing to her, and put the other two back. "Do I do the spinner yet?" [Sorry to ask, but can you decide what card she picked for me? I know that starting with college, she has the freedom of degree cards, but I don't know any specifics.] [And if Stacy IS supposed to spin now, what could that outcome be?] [I'm reading the site you linked me to, but I'm still a bit confused.]

[-sigh- I don't explain things very well. And I even do a worse job over the computer. Can we skip this scene please? It'll give me a head ache][I gave you the list of careers so that you could pick it yourself] "No, you don't draw cards yet. You have to go around the board here, then stop at the Stop sign." she pointed to it on the board

[Alright then. We'll skip it.] For a long while, Samantha and Stacy played the game of LIFE. Throughout their playing session, Stacy became a clear winner by a large margin. As for Samantha, she had a very unlucky game the whole way through. Though Stacy found it ironic how the outcomes turned out in this simulation. Samantha was a successful business woman, the brilliant heiress to her father's company. Stacy was of a completely different class and occupation, one that was less successful than her friends. By all means, Samantha won the game of life, even if Stacy won the game of LIFE. Perhaps nobody can properly simulate the complexities of the real world, even if one tried. Or perhaps people simply make better or worse decisions in these watered-down version of life. "That was fun!", said Stacy. She flexed her arms to show her strength of victory. Immediately, she noticed the clock. "Oh! Look at the time! I can't believe it passes by so fast!"

[Can I just ask, do you know how to play any board games?] Samantha didn't know what happened. She was usually so good at this game. But she had to hand it to Stacy, she got whooped, "Yeah, its late. Did you want to stay the night or do you have to go? You can borrow some of my things and we have an extra bedroom."

[Umm... Not really. I think I've played Candy Land and Monopoly before, but I forgot most of the rules. Does checkers count? As a kid, I was known for being unbeatable at checkers.] "You mean I get to spend the night here?", Stacy said with a subtle thrill. "That would be great. I'd just need to check my-" She paused. "I think I have work tomorrow. I have to get up early." "Well, maybe we can do it tomorrow night. I have Tuesday off."

[my funny bit involves stacy staying over] "Oh thats not a problem, we can wake you up and give you a ride. I'd really like for you to stay." Samantha said as she started to clean up the game, "But if you can't, thats fine."

"Well... If you put it that way...", Stacy said. She yawned, stretching her arms upwards. "Alright. I'll stay over. You know where I work, right? Will I have to tell you tomorrow morning?"

"You can tell my driver in the morning when we leave." Samantha finished up packing the game "You want to shower tonight or in the morning?" she asked as she went into her closet to find PJs for the two of them.

"I'll shower in the morning.", Stacy replied, "What's the point in getting clean if you're just gonna dirty yourself in the bed?" Then, a troubling thought came to her mind. "Wait. Don't you have to shower too? Will it take up too much time if we have to take turns?" "Please tell me you have a second shower, so we can both clean up in the morning."

"Suit yourself. And of course we have more than one shower. You will have your own master bedroom with a master bath like mine." Samantha started undressing herself. She wasn't shy around Stacy cause they went to college together. They had seen each other naked plenty of times before so she didn't think anything of it, "Our showers can be tricky to use, come in the bathroom and I'll show you." she threw on a robe and entered the bathroom, then went to explain how it all worked

"Okay. That makes a lot of sense!", Stacy said after the explanation of the showers. "So this one is the one I'll be using? You said I had my own bedroom, right? Is it nearby?"

[Did you not read that? I said samantha undressed. Down to her underwear.] "Right next to mine on the left." she said as she turned on her shower and took off her robe. She looked down at her stomach. It was still flat, but soon it would grow, swell with a baby inside. She touched her stomach and smiled gently. Pulling herself out of it she took off her undergarments in front of Stacy, "Well, goodnight. I have some sleepwear in my closet, help yourself." she went into the shower and closed the curtain.

[Yeah. I read it. But you also said that they saw each other naked all the time. Stacy would probably be used to it, and not really have a reaction at all.] Stacy left the bathroom, letting Samantha shower in privacy. Now was the time for her to find a change of clothing. This, of course, meant rummaging through Samantha's closet. She went over to Samantha's room. The distant sounds of a shower faucet were her "ok" to snoop around. Stacy began to search for any pajamas to wear. One by one, she'd lift clothing items from their respective spots before tossing them aside. She left no fabric stone unturned as she de-organized the closet in search of sleepwear. "Ah-HA!" She had found something. It was one of Samantha's robes. Perhaps this is what she meant by "sleepwear". Either that, or she missed something. There was nothing left to do but to try it on. "Ergh! Ahh! C'mon! What's this thing made of?" Stacy struggled to fit into the robe. She had to be only a couple of sizes larger than her friend, or so she liked to think. Did Samantha always wear tight clothing like this? Perhaps it was a fashion thing. "Sammy, I envy you. How am I supposed to fit in this?" She eventually gave up, searching for something else to wear as the distant faucet continued to pour. Soon, she came across what had to be an old nightcap and pajamas. The tried it on, only to find a similar problem of size. The pajama pants constricted her legs, and the shirt failed to cover her stomach. "Not even Samantha could wear this. She should probably give this to a goodwill or something." She took off the old pajamas as she continued to search for sleepwear.

[But that was my funny bit. Guess it wasn't all that funny] Samantha stayed in the shower a little longer than normal. After getting cleaned up, she turned off the water and stepped out. Grabbing a towel, she wrapped up her body, then wrapped her hair with another one. She didn't expect too find Stacy in the room but when she got here, she gasped. Her room looked like a tornado hit it, especially her closet, "Stacy! What is going on?"
