The low voice of something trying to get their attention turned Faleen's face back to the bushes sitting next to them. Togepi leaned forward against Faleen to peer back at what was talking to them, a bright smile growing on its tiny face when it saw the same Oddish that had run away from them easier.
"Wait me?" Faleen asked, pointing to herself.
The Oddish didn't come out of the bushes, mostly it could be identified by the leaves sticking out of its head as it peered shyly thought the leaves.
Faleen grinned, spinning around and crouching down "Sure can, why?"
"See that's a bit of a story, but lets just say I'm more then i appear to be." She winked.
This response didn't at all seem to be what the Oddish wanted to hear, and it shrank back with a deep frown on its face.
"What? No, no I'm not, awww, come on." Faleen curled the side of her lip and squinted an eye, feeling bad for upsetting the Oddish.
Rubbing the back of her shaved head she took a moment to consider then lowered her hand. "Alright look, You help us find an egg around here, I'll tell you how it is I can talk to you. Okay?"
The Oddish stayed still, eyeing the human. But it appeared that curiosity would get the better of it as it stepped out of the bushes.
Faleen held her hand out with her pinkie extended "I swear! Look, pinkie promise" Her cheeky grin only grew as the Oddish just stared at her hand... clearly not able to reciprocate the gesture.
Not keeping the Oddish, but will continue to play with it for a bit.

As a compromise, the Oddish bobbed its head forward so that its leafy head slapped against Faleen's pinkie.
Delighted in the Pokemon's creativity to the gesture Faleen nodded and pushed herself to her feet.
"Alright, so now its three of us, against one Froakie! We've got some catching up to do!"
Oddish nodded and hurried off to lead the way to where it had thought it spotted some eggs.
Unforgettably, as it was getting closer to the area, Oddish would spot said egg already being picked up by a Shiny Froakie.
Oddish protested, stomping its foot into the dirt
Froakie barely had time to look up at the other Pokemon when vines suddenly shot out and toward him. Eyes widened for a half a second before he leaped into action, rolling to the side and out of the way of the vines. Some of the eggs came loose from his frubbles and bounced in different directions.
No hesitation was spared though as Froakie retaliated with a jet of water shooting from his opened mouth, splashing so forcefully into the Oddish's face it knocked the Pokemon clear back into a bush where is vanished from sight.
"Woh! Hold up Froakie! don't attack again." Faleen's wide step brought her in between Froakie and the Oddish, the latter who was already getting up out of the bushes with an angry yell
"Stop stop its okay! He found it its okay, we'll look for others." Faleen yelped, catching the Oddish in its path to keep it from advancing. "Look, trust me."
Froakie frowned, brushing some dirt off of his skin, and turning to collect the eggs that had fallen.

[Faleen, Area 3] Faleen grinned as she watched Froakie scowl and hop away to search for more eggs. She turned back to the Oddish "look, Type advantage or not, that pokemon's human trained, don't go picking fights with him okay?" Togepi asked with concern
Oddish glanced away
"Eh! It's fine." Faleen laughed, waving her hand "well find another one. Besides look!"reaching out the human pulled up tell decoration sitting in the bush "we did find this! So sleepy"

Now that was just cruel; KO's smirky smile widened. "I can see why! I'd feel the same if I were him. There are worse names though, I briefly owned a Mantine that had been named Sea Pancake."
While the humans started socialising Imperator scooped up another egg and then started to poke around in some shrubbery for any more.

Ahh, well... A bit put out now, Peter tucked his toys into the crook of one arm and joined Imperator in his search for eggs.
"Right? I felt bad for him, but she wouldn't change it, so..." Jamie shrugged to indicate a distinct lack of anything he could do about it, so it simply was what it was. Everyone else always just called him Peter, and he was sure the Lopunny just tried not to think about his full name whenever possible. The thought of a Mantine named Sea Pancake elicited a bright, enthused laugh from the short trainer. "Sea Pancake? Really? That's amazing! Terrible for the Mantine - I do feel bad for it - but who would've ever..." Seriously? Sea Pancake? Who would've named their pokemon that? Seriously?

KO's smirk widened further at Jamie's reaction and he made a languid gesture to indicate, in broad terms, that there were some very strange people in the world. "I really don't know I'm afraid, it had been traded a few times before it came to me. I think it lucked out with its next trainer though, a surfer." He'd made that last part up - he'd actually lost it in a poker game to some knucklehead who wasn't as dumb as he'd looked - but there was no need for Jamie to know that.
As KO spoke he became aware of something tugging at the hem of his pants and looked down to see a Togepi looking up at him. "Uhh..." he motioned vaguely at the small egg-like pokemon, "go on, shoo. I already have plenty of pokemon to care for, I don't need another."
//But I'm lonely, and you're pretty!// the fairy type replied sadly. //Pleeeeease?//
KO huffed and rolled his eyes, and seen as kicking the thing wasn't an option with an audience he relented. "Alright fine, you can come," he said, and as he spoke he fetched a spare pokeball out of his pocket and dropped it on the baby pokemon. At least Togekiss was strong so it might turn out to be useful one day.

That was annoying. At least she wasnt actually trying to steal from him, but what was with those wild pokemon that she was getting to help her?
He would count that as cheating. But seeing as he was winning he hardly cared.
He eyeed the display he had found as he pass in search of more eggs
