Toki stared a moment almost taken a back, and contending with a smile that threatend to form "If it wouldn't be to much of a bother. I could use some rest...." Toki was almist struggling withthe words
Mimi smiled and shook hr head No it's alright. ActualllyI'd like to. But kids my age are to afraid I'll accidentally freeze them. She grined slightly

"Well then, it's settled, I'll reach out to Yami to see if I can talk with her without making you wait..." Tairon sends thoughts that he hoped Yami could hear..."Yami, if you can't tell, it's Tairon, and I'd like to humbly ask you if Toki could have a few days off. He seems quite tired, and it looks like he'd greatly appreciate it. Don't worry, I'd look after Mimi, and I'm sure Maikon would love to help with that."

To...ki? It shouldn't be a problem. I just need him to meet Tolly. And then a break would be certainly fine. AS for Mimi-chan are you sure? I have no problem with watching her if it's to much to ask. She's so sweet and cute.

"Tolly. I hate to kill your dreams, but that one needs to be killed right here, right now. The thing is, there are no 'heros' because everyone's still rebuilding. As for folklore and legends, no one has time for them anymore. They're still trying to heal the fresh wounds of fifteen years ago." Arkayid said. It was blunt, no emotion. It simply was.
"Now, as for that 'deteriorating situation beyond your walls.' Ever hear of you know... Patrolling? Less then a week ago a village was raided. No survivors. I did the best I could for avenging them, but its not enough. Maybe, Lord Toleranth," Arkayid spat the title at him. In Arkayid's eyes, Toleranth really, really needed a reality check. "If you actually protected the people of Domachi, you could improve the situation, hmm?" Arkayid spat out bitterly. "And before you get all high and mighty, remember, I'm from Teir. We're still dealing with Demons. Hell, we don't even have a government anymore. More of a matter of grab your sword, and protect whats yours. Hell, many youngsters are trained in the arts of war, nevermind any sort of useful skill, like farming or engineering. Its a simple fact of life there, you must protect yourself and ensure your survival before doing anything else."

(auren....be warned....arkyaid is traveling into touchy terrirtory. Tolly would have been sick i fit was less then a week ago, and *points to yami* 1st time ruler over there was in charge)
Yami bit her lip and then opened her mouth to say something, closed it again, opened it once more, and then gave up. She hadn't even begun to forgive herselfr fo rwhathad happend, and Yami's overall cheeriness had been more so no one would worry, especially the poor guards who she was already tormenting enough attempting to handle everything "If your going to goet mad at someone at least get mad at the right person Sir Arkayid." she finally managed out sorrowfully "He was sick when that occured." THe hand the had been gently petting Yumi dropped. Hoe Yami had been keeping it together she wasn't sure, but she was going to wait on talking to tolly about that until after the kids were gone at least.

Tolly looked at Arkayid; "I was unconscious a week ago, down with terminal disease complicated with a stupid selfless act for the queen of Tier, before she up a laid waste to the captial city.
My patrols are streched thin as it is;" Tolly pointed at a stack of papers starting at the floor and looking like a unfinished collum tot he celing. "That is the patrol requests of the WORLD! I don't half to aske, I don't need to think this stuff out, these are requests from my own squadrons wanting to patrol theses places but are lacking one thing. diplomatic permission! So I tell you what, if you can do my job better, then after i'm through speaking with Alhana(sp?), and if your still here we'll discuss how your going to change my apparent problem."
Tolly began to lean heavily on his desk, not even 48hrs out of the infirmary and into a stressing situation was not what the doctor had ordered him to do.
"So why don't you think on that!!!"

Arkayid was about to say something when an elven women seemed to step out of thin air next to him. She was wearing a long black cloak and had two streaks of crimson under her eyes.
"Arkayid, shut the hell up. NOW." She snarled at him. Arkayid winced and almost seemed to cower before her. Which was strange, since she wa smore then a foot and a half shorter then him, and maybe a third as wide.
"You know, Lord Toleranth, your problem isn't that hard to fix. Not the guard problem, but the health related one. If you will allow me, I can heal what I did to you. And Arkayid, go find some children to play with, I have some things to dicuss with Lord Toleranth." She said in turn to Toleranth and Arkayid.
"Mother...? Play...?" Arkayid said quietly. His childhood was far, far from normal. Such things as playing with children were regarded as a waste of time, when one could be working on sword forms, or running through how to know your limits in terms of magical power, and how overtaxing it can most definitely kill you in one way or another. Thus, the concept of playing with other children was alien to him.
"Fine, if you don't want to, take this and run through your forms, and don't practice any Blade Reversals." She made a rune out of burning energy, and Mishizuri with sheath and all appeared in front of Arkayid. He nodded and walked off.
"Kid reminds me too much of Auren... Just not as stupid, thankfully. Now, Lord Toleranth, what do you wish to speak to me about?"

Tolly leaned back before he would roll over from leaning so hard to one side.
"As to my health there isn't much to do, their is a little scaring of the heart tissue, nothing lethal, but what put me down was something i was given genetically through the bloodlines. you wouldn't happen to have heard about Casses Time syndrome would you?"

"Well... What of Teir, and what of me...?" Alhana asked. She pursed her lips and thought of this... 'Casses Time Syndrome.'
"I've never heard of the syndrome. Remember, 'round these parts, we don't get around much. Although if you tell me what it is... I'll see what I can do. I know a few Chronomancers. They're batty as all hell, but good people if you ask me."

Tolly took a few minutes to catch up on his breath before starting into the next bit of conversation.
"the spell is almost completed, the one to restore Tier to its once formidible stature in buildings and grounds wise. This process should allow you to shift your manpower focus to security. The only trouble is it took 13 years to write it out in its entireity, and will take 3 years to execute to its completion without hinderances of course.
Thing of it is I was going to ask permission first, like i was telling Arkayid, I cannot go saving the world if people first don't want to do it themselves. So I asking the Queen of tier if she wants my help in rebuilding Tier?

Alhana chuckled, and then burst out laughing. She laughed in Toleranth's face for a minute or two, and then wiped her eyes.
"Toleranth. I haven't been the Queen of Teir for fifteen years now. No one has. Hell, its just a collection of towns. You're asking the wrong dragon on this one. If you want to ask anyone, ask the people who live there. When I... Destroyed the Wyverns, and betrayed Auren, that's when I lost my privilage for being the Queen." She said much more soberly and quieter.
"All I am now, is a simple relic of fifteen years ago that no one wants to see. As in, I walk into a town, and people revile me. They don't openly do anything, but that's the truth. Hell, the changes my corruption are still there."
She backed up a bit, closed her eyes and sighed. She then resumed her natural form.
It was still the corruption of the light dragon, resembling some horrible cross-breed between a Light Dragon and a Demon.
"See, the changes are permanent. All I care for now, is for Arkayid."

Tolly stared at her with light amusement. "Alhana, i'm responsible for more deaths then anyone should be in their lifetime."
Tolly took a sheet of blank paper and scribbled up a order and held it up, its was an order to have his daughter killed.
"It comes that easy, and has a lasting effect to many hearts including my own. However you hold what you did differently, and you can claim i don't understand fully what it was like, and i don't really. i'll admit i'm not you, and never experienced it fully as you had, but you can still regain the respect of your people if you truly worked hard."
Tolly burned the paper in his hand and sighed a bit.
"Your still the Queen of Tier to me, reguardless of how you reguard yourself and how your people respect you, because no other has been chosen to take the throne, nor has Arkayid sent me offical correspondance that he has risen to take the throne as Auren's heir. So i ask again Alhana, shall i proceed in aiding in the rebuilding of Tier?"

"Toleranth, you don't know really what its like to erase. I mean, erase over a hundred thousand lives, by your own hand. In one, devesating strike. As for the Wyverns, I killed them too, and I knew most of them. I don't care. As for the respect... I cannot earn it, ever again. You want to see why? Go take a good, long look at the crater that used to be Teir. Nothing grows there, and the lands have remained ash since then. You want to rebuild Teir, have fun. Do not ever, bring this up to me again. Ever."
"As for Arkayid 'taking the throne.' why would he? As far as he's concerned, he just wants to live. I agree with him. Not my place to tell him to take the throne. Hell, Auren didn't even really have the throne. He was a figurehead that the people rallied to when the Wyverns ousted the last king. We both knew it, and I simply took over the administration work. Not even he could juggle a mercenary unit of at least ten thousand, and a country with over a hundred thousand citizens in its capital alone. In the end, if he wants it, he can have it. I definitely, don't want the throne."

Arkayid walked around, feeling a bit loss, and an unfamiliar weight in the form of Mishizuri, sheath and all. Arkayid wandered, before encountering Mimi, Toki, Maikon and Tairon. Looking around, he shrugged.
"Good afternoon." He said with a dip of the head.
