♡ Sighing quietly when Nicholas told her she looked like hell, she stuffed her hands into the pockets of her baggy sweat pants. "You're so kind." She said sarcastically while turning around and walking over to the couch. "I think they get off of their flight at five fifteen." She shrugged and sat down at one end of the couch. She missed seeing Nicholas for most of the days. She missed his pretty blue eyes and his occasionally cockiness along with how nice he treated her, Tegan was the one who ruined their upcoming relationship. It was always her fault when it came relationships, her ex broke up with her because she wouldn't have sex with him and another one broke up with her due to her not wanting him to have another girlfriend. Tegan wasn't into poly relationships. "How are you?" She asked Nicholas, her voice soft, this was the most she's spoken in the past three days. She'd been isolating herself and was planning on doing so for the rest of the week.

She asked how he was and he shrugged slightly. "Not too bad," he answered. "Been studying a lot recently. I have my entrance exam next Monday," he informed, tucking his leg underneath the other to get comfortable. "How are things in your anatomy class? Have you been keeping up with the homework?" Nicholas asked, knowing that she had been struggling a few days ago. It took her a long time to finally get a grasp on what he was trying to teach her, though she managed.

♡ Looking down at her hands on her lap instead of connecting her eyes with Nicholas'. He didn't seem phased about the two separating but then again, it wasn't that big of a deal. It was only three days. "I haven't touched my back pack in three days." Tegan admitted, she wasn't going to lie about it, she needed to stop lying to him. Crossing her arms, she turned towards him and sighed again, moving her eyes back in front of her. She couldn't look at him for a long time, it hurt knowing she lost him. He was the only guy that seemed serious about being with her, the other guys only dated her for fun. Tegan was thought as a piece of meat at her school, it was annoying and she couldn't wait to graduate. "I ******** up, really bad Nicholas." She quietly chuckled at herself, Tegan knew she was an idiot and that the two were over. She wanted to apologize though. "I'm sorry I wasted your time." She said, tears getting ready to run down her cheek.

The guilt on her face was as clear as the sky and she couldn't even look him in the eyes for that long. At least she knew where she went wrong. Finally, the blonde lifted her head to meet his gaze and he listened to what she had to say. He did agree that she ******** up pretty bad, although he didn't necessarily agree with the second part of her apology. "I wouldn't call it a waste of time, love," he said, his voice low and comforting. "I rather enjoyed my time with you. And..." He trailed off, waiting until she met his gaze again to continue speaking. "I am willing to give you another chance, if you want one."

♡ She was slightly confused when Nicholas called her love, although that was mostly because he was English and they had that type of slang. Turning her head and connecting her hazel eyes to his bright blue ones as he told her he was willing to give Tegan another chance at a relationship. She didn't think she deserved one, but Nicholas was okay with giving it another try. "Really? You're being serious, right?" She asked with a bright smile ok her lips, "Thatd be really nice, but you're not doing this out of pity are you?" The girl needed reassurance over this, moving her hand onto his knee. She wasn't sure what to do or how to react to Nicholas, she wanted to smash her lips onto his but wasn't sure if he wanted that. Maybe he was only joking for his pleasure.

"Why would I do something this serious out of pity? I like you, Tegan." He overlapped her small hand on his knee with his own. "But if we are going to do this--you have to promise me something." He paused a moment, waiting for her to give him a sign. "These insecurities that you have, I need you to flush them away. It's the only way that this will ever work out. I would never do wrong by you, Tegan." Nicholas looked the blonde in the eyes when he spoke those final words, sincere and solemn. It was important that she trusted him, and that he trusted her. Clearly, there was definitely some work to be done in order to rebuild the trust on his part, though he didn't have a doubt in his mind that it couldn't be done.

♡ Shrugging her shoulders, the smile on Tegan's lips didn't dare to disappear. "I don't know why I thought that." She admitted while chuckling at herself, this time she was going to be more serious about Nicholas. "What is it?" She asked, willing to make any promise for a other chance with him. Nodding her head while he explained that she needed to start trusting him. Tegan let out a relieved breath, her smile coming back. "Deal," She agreed and leaned in, wanting to kiss the male but she stopped herself, she wasn't sure if he was finished talking about what she needed to fix for their relationship to work out longer this time. "I want to tell you something about Tuesday," Tegan started, and slid her hand down from his knee to the middle of his thigh. "I didn't do anything with Jason, I swear." She told him, she had a feeling he thought the two did something but in reality, nothing happened at all.

He raised his eyebrows questioningly at the girl and when she swore that she didn't do anything with Jason on Tuesday, he looked into her eyes for a long moment. Nicholas pressed his dusty pink lips together and nodded his head, giving the girl half a smile. "Okay," he said. If they were going to turn over a new leaf, he would have to believe her. No convincing needed. Finally, they closed off the distance between them and Nicholas instinctively dragged Tegan onto his lap so that she straddled his hips. The man exhaled softly against her lips between kisses and lifted a hand to rest it against the side of her neck, his thumb lightly grazing her earlobe.

♡ "Cool," Tegan smiled, leaning in again and connecting her lips with Nicholas' soft ones after three whole days. She missed him like crazy, her being alone for that long while being sad was horrible. She thought about the worst things she could have done to herself and almost did them too, all over a boy. Moving a hand to his cheek and the other tangled in his hair, she went along with him pulling her onto his body.
The two kissing was getting really heated, Nicholas' shirt was almost all the way unbuttoned and Tegan pulled away from his lips so she could pull her sweater off. The second she started pulling it up, she heard the front door creak and her mother yell, "Anyone here? We're home!" Tegan's eyes widened, <********> She whispered while panicking and moving off of his hips. Sitting down at the other end of the couch, picking up the TV remote, she clicked it on and pretended to be into what ever was playing, acting like what was just happening, didn't happen at all.

x x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EJust as it was starting to get heated, Tegan's parents walked through the door and announced their arrival. "Come the <********> on," he whispered with Tegan, quickly buttoning up his shirt and leaving the top one undone. "In here!" He yelled out, fixing his hair slightly and smoothing it at the back. Hearing footsteps behind him after a couple seconds, Nicholas plastered a smile onto his face and turned his head to greet the man and woman. "How was the trip?" He asked enthusiastically. "Oh it was amazing! We enjoyed every second of it. How was everything here? I hope Tegan didn't give you too much trouble," the woman said with a bit of distaste audible in her voice.
"On the contrary, Tegan was splendid. You have yourselves an amazing daughter," the man said honestly. They both looked downright shook, especially the mother. "Really?" She questioned in disbelief, laughing a little. "Well then. That's wonderful. Nicholas, would you care to stay for dinner? We are hosting a barbecue tonight and we would love it if you could stay." Needless to say, that took him completely off guard. A minute ago he was prepared to go home to avoid the awkwardness of having to spend time with them at all. "Sure, of course, that sounds lovely," he answered with a grin on his face, just to her mothers delight.
They both left the room after a few more minutes of conversation to go upstairs and unpack their belongings. The male let out a heavy sigh and leaned back into the couch. x x

♡ Adjusting her sweatshirt, Tegan watched the show that played on the TV while listening to her mother brag about their trip along with asking how Tegan was for the week. Her eyebrows furrowed and she turned her head towards her mother, glaring at the woman. She was a b***h who continuously talked crap about her friends and family, either behind their backs or even in front of their faces. Once Nicholas told her parents that she was amazing, she couldn't help but crack a smile. Although she wasn't sure if he was just saying it to swoon her parents or if he was being for real. She rolled her eyes when her mother asked Nicholas to stay for the barbecue. It was her mothers friends and their children along with some of the neighbors coming over so they could all brag to each other about who's life is better. Tegan normally hung out in her room or hid in the kitchen while she waited for the food to get done with. Then she ate, occasionally joined in a on a game of volleyball with her dad and his friends, then went back to her room until they all went home.
When her parents left to go upstairs so they could unpack their bags, Tegan shook her head. "You should have said no, the barbecues suck." She chuckled, leaning over to press her lips onto Nicholas' one last time for the rest of the night. Her mother loved to hover so she knew this was the end of their privacy. "Have fun though, I'll be hiding in my room until the food is finished." She smirked.

x x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R ENicholas frowned but kissed Tegan back. He didn't exactly feel as though he had a choice in the matter. Though, when the blonde said that she would be hiding up in her room until dinner, he looked at her like she was nuts. "No no no," he quickly objected, "I refuse to sit there and make awkward conversation with your family by myself. So, suck it up." He gave the girl a complacent smile and with that, he patted her thigh and stood up before making his way into the backyard. He wondered what her mother meant when she said they were 'hosting' a barbecue, how many people would be showing up. He would probably just tell them he had somewhere to be after dinner and go home for the night. Today was Friday and his exam was on Monday, which meant he had two days left to study. He was going to need all the time he could get.

♡ Rolling her eyes when Nicholas demanded her to stay outside during he while barbecue, "Fine," She sighed and got up from the couch to follow him outside. "That means I need to change." She groaned, turning back towards the house to see i her mom was down stairs. Her mother would yell at her if she wore sweatpants and a sweatshirt along with her hair in a disgusting bun. Her mother's friends would make fun of her mom for weeks if she did so, Tegan would need to change into a nice outfit with a pair of shorts along with a short sleeved shirt and her bathing suit under it. She normally got a few looks from the younger boys that showed up along with some of the other moms because it was a little revealing. Tegan didn't care though, her mom was proud she had a nicer body. "I'm gunna go change really quick." She said and looked up at the window to see her mom watching out the window. "I'd invite you to come but my mom is watching." Tegan smirked while pointing above her as she walked through the sliding glass door.

She mentioned that her mom was watching and he lifted his blue eyes slightly to see that she was in fact looking out the window at them. "That's not creepy at all," he said back, before looking towards Tegan again. "Can you flash me at least?" Nicholas asked with a smirk, walking up to the girl. They were both standing close together underneath the shade now obscured from her mothers vision, and he was hoping she would comply. He thought he would finally be able to see them when they were inside, then her parents walked in and ruined everything.

♡ Nodding when Nicholas said her mother was creepy, she quietly chuckled, "She likes to hover." Tegan told him and smirked, looking around the area they were standing to see if anyone was looking. "I'm wearing a sports bra, it won't show you much." She said, moving her hands into the pocket of her sweatshirt. "Wait until I put my bathing suit on." She smirked, pressing her lips on his cheek and took off up the stairs.
After getting ready, Tegan headed down stairs and followed her mother out to the back yard again to help her get out some more chairs since a handful of people were going to show up. Tucking a piece of her long blonde hair, she wore a pair of short jean shorts that showed a lot of leg along with a black tank top. She was wearing her all red bathing suit under it. Looking over at Nicholas, she smiled towards while grabbing two chairs in each hand to set them down by the large table everyone sat around to eat at.
