Makani - Post 3

Giving a nod of his head he said, "Alright, I will trust that I won't end up kidnapped and miles away from the market then, Sin'qua." He said with a bit of a laugh, following along after her, holding tight to her arm. He supposed that this would be an interesting test of that trust that he had in Sin'qua since he was allowing his magical sight to die down since it had messed with him more then anything else. For the time being he was the same as any other without sight... but he found that he wasn't as scared as he might have thought since he had her at his side.

"Food sounds good." He said, giving a bit of a chuckle as she said she didn't miss the traveling, "I don't find it to be too terrible. That might just be because i still do a bit of it from time to time? Mostly with healing purposes in mind." He much preferred staying at the inn of course but the occasional trip from place to place to help out as a healer was always nice too. He could understand why Sin'qua would find it tiring though since she was a bit more of a homebody. Tilting his ear her way he asked, "How goes your writing? I hear you have been spending a lot of time at it, writing anything interesting?"

As he found himself brought to one of the benches he reached down with one hand, the other still on Sin'qua's arm, until he settled down, "Don't be too long." He said to her as he released his hold on her, hoping he wouldn't be left behind for too long.

Jerami - Post 3

Jerami's antennae gave a little twitch before he took a couple more steps closer to Jhana and Shima, glancing around the crowd. It really was a good sized one, the sort that might swallow them up, and it was maybe even more intimidating in its size then Oba felt. Maybe that was just him though since they hadn't really gone anywhere super crowded since the tournament.

"You will know it when you see it? Alright!" Jerami liked the sound of that. It meant that they were searching for some special, secret thing for Jhana! Something that would speak to her when she saw it so that meant that they really should do as much exploring as they could so that they find that certain something meant for Jhana. It made it sound like quite the adventure! The sort that he wanted to enjoy to the fullest, finding this trip was the best sort of thing for him.

Looking to Shima he gave her a smile and said, "Fabrics first, then weapons? I'd like to peek at them myself even though I don't think I will be fighting exactly." Maybe if he said he wanted to look too then Shima would feel better at wanting to go? He started forward a couple steps when Shima was asking if there was someone he liked here and Jerami nearly tripped over his own feet. Whirling around, his cheeks red and his antennae twitching, he said in a rush, "What? No!" Which sounded completely believable.

Aysun - Post 3

Aysun gave the janarim a nod of his head, taking a step back as the other told him that he had trust issues, before he held up his hands, palms up to show that he had nothing in his hands, "You needn't worry about me, I am a pretty nice guy, especially when it comes to those like you." He turned to look over at the man that he belonged to and said, "I understand how that goes, it took me some time to make friends with my janarim, Maw, as well."

Turning back to Regale as the man introduced himself and his beast he said, "It's nice to meet you Regale. I am sorry to hear that you have trust issues but if you ever want to make friends just let me know. I make the best treats that Maw is a fan of. I wouldn't mind sharing with you as well." He moved to dig into the pack that Sinnika wore, getting out one of the pieces of dried aldabuk to show to Regale before offering it to Draven, "I figure since you're his buddy that he would prefer to take it from you."

"Oh! And it's nice to meet you too, Draven." He turned his head as Flower and Therus returned, flying around him, before he looked passed them, spotting Issaly a moment before his friend was hugging him. He gave a smile, wrapping one arm around him, giving a hug in return. Once he released him he looked down at Sinnika and said, "Just Sinnika and Flower, since the others are far too big to bring into such a crowd... Sunshine especially. Can you imagine if she tried to come with?"

Looking between Draven and Issaly he said, "Issaly this is Draven and his janarim, Regale! Draven this is Issaly and his zanteer Ullyee."

Eira
- Post 3

Giving the oddly colored woman a nod Eira had half expected her to be on her way... but instead she was sticking around? She glanced back the Yaeli's way, giving her a smile as the other asked about if she lived locally, "Somewhat close to here. Is there anything that you're curious about? I might be able to give you some directions as far as the area goes if you're looking to go somewhere after the Grand Market is finished."

Maybe she'd visit the inn and show other members of the Yaeli that the inn was more then welcoming to every tribe out there provided that they followed the rules at least. Something that she was all for so long as it meant that some men from the Yaeli tribe might visit as well! Giving a smile she said, "If you're needing a place to stay during your travels in Sauti let me know, I know the location of a lovely inn."

Rishima - Post 3

As they started forward Rishima glanced from side to side, "Wow, this crowd... it's been some time since I've seen this many people in one area." He murmured to Gerraden as he found himself dodging out of the way of one person, which caused him to bump into Gerraden a bit, "Ah! Sorry, Gerr." He gave him a gentle smile as he moved along, stepping away from him once he was able to do so, though not too far.

"Something for the house? That sounds nice." He said, his antennae giving a bounce, a smile appearing on his lips, "Yeah, I think it would be fun to gather some nice decorations for the house! Make it even more comfortable and wonderful." He could think of a few things that would be fun to get to spruce the place up.

"Eh?" As Gerraden asked if his 'mentor's kids' were nearby. He looked around, for a moment confused, before he spotted them. He gave a smile and nodded, "Ah! Yes, those are Jerarda's little ones. I wonder if they are here on their own or if Jerarda is around too." He glanced around but didn't see her anywhere. They might be on a trip together on their own, meaning that they were getting that big already? Giving a humming sound he said, "Wow, they are growing up fast, aren't they? They used to be so cute and little."

Callistos - Post 3

Li glanced between the twins for a moment, a curious look on his face as he did so, "Did the two of you plan on getting kittens to raise together? That is so adorable Uli, Riya." He said, giving the pair a bright smile as he looked between them and the critters that they had. The one named Hugs was described as a 'jerk' while the little 'baby' was far too little to really do much, huh? Hard to say if that one would be friendly or not until it was old enough to do much, huh? Here was to hoping both of the felines wouldn't be labeled as being 'jerks' he thought to himself with a laugh.

So Uli's kitten was his responsibility, huh? Something that Li understood, being given responsibility even while young. At least his own sort didn't involve taking care of a little life as Li wasn't sure if he was ready for that sort of thing. Seemed that Uli had it much tougher then he did, maybe because he had a Beast Master for a mother? He supposed that would make sense. She had Uli learn how to raise beasts while Li's mother had him learn dancing and various skills that helped one take care of an inn.

Turning to look over at Lilif as she came over to join him he gave a smile, "I see that you finally caught up with one of those weird serpents, huh? Great job, Lilif. I looked a couple more times but really had no luck finding another of them."

At Uli's mention of Lilif being a 'friend' of Li's' he gave a smile, "Ah! Yes!" He gave a smile as he took it upon himself to give out introductions since it was only polite that he did so, "Thanks for the nudge, Uli. Lilif, these are my friends Hulis or Uli and Iriyana or Riya, Uli and Riya this is Lilif." With introductions aside he asked of the gathered group, "So, are the lot of you wanting to hang out so we can check out of the Grand Market together? Or are you wanting to scatter to the winds?"

Draven
post 3

Draven watched the other, Aysun, as Regale pawed at the ground slightly. The wind/ice hybrid tugged at a horn on his head to pull his attention away again. Really he was going to have to do something about all this, but after they left the market. He was hoping that the Janarim would act like he did at the tournament. But sometimes things happened differently in different areas.

"Given Regale's past, I would be untrusting myself. So you have a Janarim too huh?" Draven said releasing his hold on Regale as he seemed to calm and lay down, causing a bigger hole in the crowd then when he was standing.

Draven watched Aysun as he fetched out something from a pack carried by his own companion. While Draven was somewhat on the comfortable side of talking to others. After being taken in by an Alk and her family, Regale was one that took longer then others to gain trust. "Ah.. Thanks," Draven said as he accepted the 'treat' and held it out to Regale.

The large beast gave the morsel a sniff before lapping it out of Draven's hand to chew on it. Turning his head away as if it wasn't that good, but Regale had enjoyed the treat none the less. Draven was going to thank the other Hybrid again before someone else appeared and embraced the one he was talking to.

"Hi, A pleasure meeting you." Draven said a little awkwardly, feeling a little like the odd one out. "Seems you meet all sorts of people at these types of places." to this he was glancing at Regale who was regarding the new comer with a wary eye.

From beneath the the flap of the saddle bag strapped to Regale, a green arrow shaped head peek out. Ruby colored eyes glinted slightly as a forked tongue flicked to taste the air. Seems that all the commotion prompted the Keldari traveling with the pair to see what was going on. Nile, as she was named, watched what was going on from the safety of her moss lined pouch.

TAU - post 3

Tau groaned with a passion when Liira shot down his idea for food. She was so picky. Even before she was pregnant she was a picky person to begin with, eating for two was just making her worse. "C'mon..." he whined. "What if we got that and something else?" But it was too late, Liira was already leading him off to some other vendor. It was a dinky meat-on-a-stick type place and Tau sighed. It figured.

"I bet you want this, right?" He groaned and pulled out his bag of coin.

LIIRA - post 3

Liira listened to her husband complain and rolled her eyes. "Yes this is what I want." She pulled him closer to the stand with the delicious looking meat and waited for him to pull out the coin.

"Well I don't want that noodle looking thing, so you can do what you want, but I want this." She suggested. If he wanted to get the noodles he could, but it would be after he got her food. She wasn't ready to wait much longer, the baby was kicking, and it was hungry.

YEJIDE - post 3

Yejide laughed out at the remark from the Oban. What a problem indeed. She couldn't help but think that maybe he came from a privileged family like herself and he might be serious when he said it was a problem, but she couldn't imagine anyone really believing that, it would be too blind of the rest of the world.

"I'm sure you can find something interesting." She pulled herself up from the ground and brushed off her pants, tossing the remaining core of the fruit behind her. "You need help looking?" She offered. She wouldn't mind some company herself while she was out and about in the market. Might as well make the best of her trip.

MIRIN - post 3

Mirin stretched her arms out, ready for a hug from Korra and embraced her friend with a grin. She immediately was pulled over to a tall leaf earthling with the strangest of patterning on his skin and was introduced as being Korra's father. "Hey - hi! Nice to meet you!" She stammered. What was the proper way to speak to a friend's parents anyways?

She put a hand behind her head and grinned. "It's really good to meet you. Korra and I have known each other for a loonnngggg time now." She dragged on the word. She had known Korra since she was a small youngling after all. It had to have been over ten years now.

TYYN - post 3

She was prepared for the argument, the yelling that would happen, and the maybe fight she would get into from the larger leaf earthling in front of her when she was thrown completely off kilter. He... what... was going on? He looked at her with a confused face, waving his hands and pointing all over the place. Did he not speak? Was there something wrong with the dude? She rubbed a hand over her face and felt deflated. Probably wasn't going to be a fight here.

"You bumped into me man." She said with a sigh. Well that was no fun.

JHANA - post 3

Shima rambled on about what they would do before she asked Jerami about his wave to some mysterious person in the crowd. His response was to basically fall over and lie to the both of them and it had Jhana snickering. "Yeah ok" She whispered to her siblings. Because that was not a lie just now.

She laughed out at what had just happened and cocked her head to the side. "Anything you want to tell us Jerami?" She prodded.

Kalli better get used to it. x3

"Well, 'scuse me for bein' mistaken. It's just that you's the one with all the big ideas, is all. I done gotten to expectin' it." He laughed, setting down the fluffy mammu.

This stall didn't have a radaku, but he figured he'd keep an eye out. There was bound to be one somewhere here, and it would be pretty cute -- although he hoped Shen would be friendly enough to cuddle up with the baby in real life, teeth and claws and all. That would be the cutest, but maybe he'd hold back from telling Kalli how he felt about it. He wasn't even sure he wanted Kalli to know that he thought kids could be cute to begin with. He wasn't sure if his sense of pride could handle that.

"Blanket's a good idea." He nodded. "Would do us good in camp before the baby comes, anyway. Gets chilly in Sauti. Even back home, this time'a year. Let's go find a big warm one we's can all hide under, eh?"

For the next little while, they wandered the stalls searching for just the right blanket. Some were pleasantly soft, but not quite big enough -- and some of the big ones looked a little too plain for their tastes (Kalli liked her ornaments, and Ouen wasn't exactly a fan of austere living either). Finally, some time later in the afternoon, they found a stall laden with folded throws, scarves and... yes, big fur blankets with embroidered trims in golden thread. A particularly fine example was hanging up on display right off the roof of the stall, this one with a big embroidered design in the middle, of an eight-pointed star like a compass rose.

"I like that one." He nodded towards. "Looks expensive."

Barihn Post 3

"Nooooo. Do you?" Barihn chuckled, more to himself than anything else. He was lost. He knew it. It was why he had decided to not think about it and instead eat the sugary treat he'd been able to buy with what little gold he had, but now that was gone. Smeared on the guy before him. He could always lick it off of him. That sounded pretty good actually. He leaned forward slightly, sticking his tongue out a bit in an attempt to test the waters before getting the sugar off of him.

"I'm lost, you seeee," he continued on, his speech a bit slurred due to his tongue still hanging out. "Are you loooost?" His whole frame still continued its lean, his hair falling into his face as he got closer. He wanted the sugar in his mouth and he wanted it now. It wouldn't hurt.

"Just hold stiiiill. I'll get this sugar off," he drawled out, tongue poking at the sugar stuck to the man's shirt.
