willow_belladonna movie_fanatic Not that he didn't want to stay, but this he couldn't handle. Boone was Boone and this was all too much. "I'll try to go find more poeple" Was all he oculd get out as an excuse. On that, he ran back to the caves. Shannon rose to her feet as Boone entered the caves once again, looking increadibly shaken. "Boone?" She asked, approaching him without a second thought. Worry, at the blank expression on his face, over took caution. "Boone, are you alright?" "Ye- well Claire is um ha-having her contractions and Et-Ethan is back" He said, trying to catch his breath.

Blood trickled down from Charlie's mouth and he moaned as Claire moved the log away from him. As soon as the log rolled off he gaspe dout as pain surged through his entire body. He winced, coughing up blood.
Jack heard Claire scream and turned to Sawyer. "GET THE SPIKE OUT NOW!" He shouted.

Claire fell to her knees next to Charlie again knowing that he was hurt bad. Tears poured down her face as she gently moved pieces of hair out of his eyes. "I'm sorry," she said as she sobbed softly not wanting him to say anything.

Charlie slowly fell over onto the ground, laying there, unmoving. He took short breathes as the pain rocketed through him. Claire was like a blur to him. Her voice sounded far away. Where was he? What was happened? What HAD happened?
It's cold now . . .so cold . . .He coughed again, blood coming out. He frowned, reaching up and touching Claire's face. He could see it now, plain as day. He smiled faintly, tears burning his eyes. He loved her. For the first time he reliezed that. He wanted nothing but the best for her. He opened his mouth to tell her something . . .
But the words never came . . .

Claire sat there for a moment stunned. She wasn't quite sure what was going on her eyes were burning with tears as she sat close to Charlie. She didn't know if he was dead or uncouncious but she knew she couldn't leave him. She couldn't. "JACK! BOONE! HURLEY! LOCK! Someone... help," she said whimpering softly as she stroked Charlie's hair.

Jack glared at Sawyer. "Come on, get the spike out of my foot!" he shouted.
Charlie fell through a world of darkness.
Nightmare after Nightmare.
Screams.
Guns going off.
SHouts.
The sound of a plane going down.
Cries of sorrow, of pain.
His own heart, beating slowly.
Claire's scream, her cry.
Ethan's chuckle.
That evil gleam in his eye.
These are the things Charlie saw as he drifted in a plain of unconsiouness. Of nightmares.

Boone heard the fait screams coming from the area he had just left.
"Stay here Shan.."
He ran back towards them and saw Charlie.
"WHat hapened?!"

All Claire could do was point to the log as she looked at it she had no idea how she moved it. She felt the tears running down her cheeks as she craddled Charlie's head in her lap and looked at the ground. "What's happening?" she asked herself aloud. "Boon, you have to go get Jack. I don't know if Charlie will live if you don't," Claire said looking up at him with her tear streaked face. "Hold on Charlie," she wispeared softly.

Charlie heard Claire's voice, but all he could see was darkness. Then, suddenly . . .
"Charlie . . .wake up." A voice snapped.
Eyes snapping open Charlie jerked up and looked around. He was no longer beside Claire and Boone, but he was in the middle of an alley way. He frowned, not knowing what was going on.
"Where am I?" He called out.
"Don't you remember Charlie?" A cruel voice snickered.
Charlie gritted his teeth, balling his hands into fist. "What do you want Ethan?!" he shouted.

Boone felt the 'faint' come near. "Oh god"
He said as he looked around.

Boone said before turning around and running in the jungle.

Sawyer hurriedly yanked the spike out of Jack's foot and ran toward the screams. "Jeeze, I'm such an idiot. I just HAD to find that friggin' knife...." he thought as he ran.

movie_fanatic Boone felt the 'faint' come near. "Oh god" He said as he looked around. "I'll be right back!" Boone said before turning around and running in the jungle. "Jack?! Jack?!" She thought angrily, following in the direction Boone had headed in. She could hear his calls for Jack, and realized he was farther ahead than she had thought. "Boone?! Boone!! Wait!" Tripping and stumbling along the make-shift path, she tried to follow the sound of his voice, travelling off the path and into the bush. "BOONE!" It was not use, and with every step it seemed like he was that much farther away, his voice that much fainter. With a sinking feeling, she realized that with each passing moment, she was getting all the more lost. Pausing, she checked her surroundings and sighed, tears of frustration brimming in her eyes. "s**t...." Shannon muttered, sinking down onto the ground and leaning against a tree.

Charlie scanned the allyway, looking around for Ethan. "Why am I here Ethan? What do you want?"
"You know what I want . . ." Ethan replied, trailing off as the sound of thunder filled the air. Charlie looked up at the sky. There was storm clouds. Lightening . . .the wind was picking up.
"WHy am I here?" Charlie asked, pulling his jacket close about him, peering around.
"I found something of yours . . ." Suddenly Ethan appeared in front of Charlie. He held a bag of Drugs. "I wonder what would happen if I was to inject this into your blood system. Would you become a druggie again? Claire wouldn't like that."
Charlie swung at Ethan, but he quickly vanished.
Jack got up, wincing, then ran off towards Charlie and Claire and the others.
"What's happened?" he asked, falling to the ground beside them.

Claire looked at Jack as tears brimmed her eyes. "He won't move," she said softly stroking Charlie's hair softly. Suddenly a wave of fear swept over her. "What if he dosn't wake up, who's going to hang out with you, who's gonna hold your hand when the baby comes?" she thought to herself only making her cry more.
