He managed his way across catwalks, rejuvinated and ready for whatever came next. Reemus felt like he was in a current, and had to keep moving. Must've been in whatever was in Fellah's doohickey. He didn't stop to think about it. Reemus did find it weird, though, that there weren't any lights up ahead. Did someone forget to flip the switch?
He ambled in closer, then stopped. Lasers. Ah, jeez. Couldn't punch that any. Reemus knew he wouldn't get over them, so he chose to go under again.
The yellowblood crawled across the floor, hoping this time he wouldn't be too big. He heard something shudder, though, and swore he heard a hum grow louder and louder. Like it was closer.
Reemus cried out, feeling something hot and metal push into his flesh through the jump suit.
Vulpin took a moment to calculate the timing of the lasers before them, waiting perhaps a bit too long to start moving across the dangerous field before them. They stepped carefully, twisting and contorting their body in an attempt to still salvage the jumpsuit they had come to love. Though after everything they had already been through, especially the water, there probably wasn't much salvaging left.
Thinking on instincts, Vulpin moved right through the winding path, hoping they would end up in the right direction instead of hitting a dead end. Though, perhaps if they waited, they might see Eostre again. Vulpin shook their head. How silly! They didn't care much about that.
Polair and Claud go RIGHT! HP: 20/40 -1 HP each roll
Polair was getting dizzy, the twists and turns, the necessity to go up, down left or right without seeing the way she's taking, all of that made her feel uneasy and queasy. Claud told them they should go into a dark open hallway as it seemed safe somehow. She couldn't understand his logic nor tried to, as a seabear's mind was just too complex to understand. He mentioned something about shiny and faint lights flickering to and fro decorating the room. From his descriptions they could only be lasers.
"Claud, try to to get close to them." She said a few seconds too late. The lusus already approached the lasers and got stung. Polair resisted the urge to facepalm again. Why didn't he think things through? She decided to "follow him" as best as she could yet got both of them grilled as a grid descended on them.
Psykgi Mentha 8/20 hp Damage Dealt: 5 to Half Constructed Tower Damage Taken: 5 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you. Direction: Right Military Standard Medical Kit (Adept Artifact Support A) (1/2 Uses, heal one troll 1/2 hp) Second Wind (1/1)
Psykgi tried to strategize a way through the lasers that glowed imposingly on the walls, and it paid off with a clear shot at the laser computing module. Stupid thing. Exiting the corridor with a few new burns on her jumpsuit, horns, hair, lusus, etc, she came across Chiara...
Who was very, very focused. Why, she looked like she was out to kill someone. Psykgi decided it would be prudent, then, to hang back. Gosh, though, she wished she knew who was behind this whole fracas. It would be a very good, very efficient direction to point the blueblood, after all.
"Psygki!" Gnash cried, never more happy to see the redblood. She grabbed onto the axe handle desperately. With something to grab onto, she eventually wiggled back onto the catwalk. Her legs really hurt, but at least she wasn't stuck. "Thank you so much for helping me Psygki!" she said, shooting a glance at her lusus. She didn't think she should rely on their kindness, but she called for help and they're the ones who came. Not Angel.
----
Natash thought she could just run though. They did lasers before, after all, and the singeing burn on her lusus had already healed, barely visible on her white scales. But she ran, and it hurt. So bad. Her bare feet tapped on the ground and she felt the burns on her arms and legs and wanted to scream. Angel merely gave out a low hiss, rushing ahead and swaying her tail back and forth. She rubbed her hands on her eyes, wiping the tears away.
This is your own fault, Natash. Don't try to blame this on anyone else. If you had merely listened to me in the first place, you would be safe and free from pain.
Natash dealt 3 damage to the Defense AI. She is going RIGHT!

Fellah goes DOWN and attacks.
Things were getting intense. The farm troll was glad he was able to help a troll down on his luck, plus he felt like he owed him. From there things were getting tougher. Where the heck were these lasers coming from anyhow? The little game of double dutch that the redblood found himself in was not as pleasant as he thought it was for a split second. A pair of lasers managed to cross right over his shoulder, leaving a noticeable burn. he winced a bit, hoping it hadn't gone too deep.

∞ Ephias Sagine
Health: 2 (Zapped!) Defensive B Trinket: 1/1 Support A Artefact: 1/1
Somehow, miraculously, he cleared the catwalk without incident. Glancing over his shoulder, he noticed that all of his travelling companions made it as well—some looking worse off than others, but alive. At least he thought all of them made it. He had not been counting.
As they continued down the corridor, it grew darker and darker, until at last he could barely see in front of him. Only the sound of footsteps in front of and behind him confirmed that he still travelled with the group. Suddenly, up ahead he saw the faint flickering of light. He stopped and stuck his arm out to block the others.
Squinting through the dark, he studied the lights. It looked like lasers, and judging from the sounds up ahead, they were not merely the motion sensing kind. He glanced behind him. In the black, he could just barely make out the small, inky blots of children. Really...
Perhaps the exhaustion from the last couple of days has worn down the cold steel around his pump biscuit, or perhaps it was just a moment of irregular sentimentality, but Ephias found himself veering from his path of personal survival.
Blocking the path of the lasers with both arms extended, he turned to the dark shapes. Through grit teeth, “Go.”

LORATA DECIDED SHE DIDN'T FEEL LIKE ATTACKING APPARENTLY
HP: 14/20 Military Grade Partisan Support Trinket A: 1/1
Lorata made sure to hug each of the Sirens as soon as they were safely off of the catwalks and back on more solid ground. She might have been able to get herself up with a bit more time, it was true, but their help had made it a quicker process and Flydra's healing in particular had swept away much of the pain involved. Her legs were still streaked purple with her blood and the irritation of scrapes only newly closed, but they would heal without scarring now despite the ache.
Now that that experience was behind them, the seadweller looked ahead into the darkened hallway as they moved on. Another troll, a redblood who had been traveling with the group for some time now she thought, had paused just ahead. A second later she realized why. Lasers ahead. She hesitated, trying to see a path through, and in that moment the redblood acted, blocking as many of the lasers as he could for them with arms outstretched.
If there'd been time, she would have praised him for the heroic action right then and there, but that would have only wasted his effort. Giving a grateful nod and motioning for the girls to follow close, Lorata ducked under his arm and darted through, rolling under a laser that cut too close and lashing out at a projector with her partisan when she came back to her feet. She wouldn't be able to take out many of those, but she could help clear some of them at least.
If you rolled a 2, you decide to run straight through in the hopes that "it won't be so bad". It very much is, and at the end of the line your burns will very much linger. Take 3 damage, and 1 damage each roll until a support power is used on you. Austri dealt 4 damage. Austri is moving RIGHT.
The group, while still fairly large, was at a reasonable size at this point with all the trolls searching for a new area ending up bumping back into each other along the way. She did not feel comfortable by far, but hey, at least they were following their blood roles to a T. The fact that there were two redbloods ticked her off, but she'd wait for another time, when there weren't three seadwellers nearby to impress. Looking at the lasers up ahead, the greenblood tapped her chin. Maybe if she used her powers to impress...? She jumped up above the lasers, but she didn't they were moveable and soon after, almost all of them were on her.
After his brief encounter with Amonee, Aandes had no choice but to strike out on his own. Perhaps it was better to forge paths untested.
No sooner did he begin to feel more confident in his path did that feeling shatter in front of him. A dim hallway. Suspicious. It was clear that there was something wrong, and a moment of examination showed the greenblood what he was expecting. A laser defense system required grace to get past. Without anyone else to impress, at least he could get some adrenaline without the distraction of needing to impress. Aandes rolled his shoulders and skated across the floor, hopping over lasers and gaining minimal injuries while he did. Not too shabby!
Aandes does 10 damage!

Nucleo Glatte HP: 5/20 (1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you) Damage: 4 Direction: Right If you rolled a 6, a few athletic rolls and careful blows to the laser projectors causes your transit to be easier than the average troll. Take 2 dmg. Your attack does double damage.
"Where'd he go?" Nucleo rubbed at his shoulder, still wandering the halls. His body was beginning to feel sore from everything- especially those troll bots! They'd managed to scratch him up good. Sure being electrocuted probably hurt more but at least that was over with less obvious after effects.
"Couldn't you have, like, left a trail of petals?" The barista jokingly whined to the empty corridor. It seemed silly enough it was almost plausible for his romantic fairy friend to consider. Some lasers up ahead caught his attention and caused Nucleo to become serious once more.
Leaping into action, he soared over the lasers and knocked down a few of the projectors. Just in case any other trolls came after.
Flydra Dromen HP: 13/40 (lusus) Damage: 2 Direction: Right 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
A strange boy growled at them to get moving before placing himself directly in harm's way to allow them to pass. He looked close to falling over but stood strong.
"Thank you. It's rare to find trolls so devoted to the spectrum." Flydra was surprised by the dedication of the boy that spread his arms wide to protect them from the path of the lasers. It was obvious of course that it was his duty as a lowblood to sacrifice himself for the safety of the beautiful seadweller but she hadn't expected him to extend the courtesy to Scorpa who was technically higher than him but still rather low. A shining example of the hemospectrum at work, she beamed at how nicely the situation had been resolved.
She continued on with her girls, hoping that they'd get to the bottom of this soon. Flydra hung back to let Austri and Scorpa go before her. They were a lot stronger and faster than she was at dealing with enemies and it seemed this tower had a lot of them!

Scorpa Devile HP: 18/40 (lusus) (1 ongoing until support is used from now on) Damage: 5 Direction: Up If you rolled a 4, a quick assessment of the lasers gives you an idea of how to proceed. Unfortunately emergency protocols in the hallway mean that the more time you take thinking, the more lasers pop up. You're not able to avoid much of the damage. Take 4 dmg and deal +1 damage.
As a redblooded boy sacrificed himself to block the lasers for them and Scorpa scowled. Who the hell was that? While his effort to protect Lorata was correct, she felt a little jealousy at the chance being taken from her. How dare he try to play hero.
Leave it to the professionals.
"Come on." The yellowblood grabbed the nearest troll's hand and began to drag them with her. As the group hurried along, she vowed to find another chance to show off and let everyone know who was really the bravest and best here. Things weren't over yet! Storming down the hall, determined eyes lead the way.
I'll be honest, I am confused who all is with the sirens at this point in the maze so I quoted everyone who might've been. My apologies if you weren't!

ROUND 8
The ghostly visage of Verier appears on the walls as they flicker into activation. "I'm calling for an evacuation of the space ladder. Reports of a bomb threat appear to have been reinforced by an unidentified object in the power room, displaying a prominent timer. Special forces will be sent in, but my recommendation for volunteers is to evacuate."
He raised a hand to his visor to adjust it, wiping away some sweat from his brow. "If you're too far deep and have no choice but to carry on, please. Be cautious. The ladder's capricious construction is one thing, but we cannot be too careful with this threat."

Boss Attack
A horde of dormant builder droids lie in a crumpled pile before you. It looks like they'll remain inactive (and out of their defensive protocols) if you're quiet, but as soon as you step by there's the ominous sound of buzzing that reaches your spongeclots.
If you rolled a 1, the pile rustles, then scatters. Small blue LEDs in their beady eyes turn red as they lock onto you, and begin to pursue you with villainous intent. One may be easy to fend off, but these roach-like bots with their tiny grippers and saws can do heavy damage quickly in numbers! Take 3 dmg, and 2 damage each roll until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you pass by a droid that grabs you by the ankle. It releases a terrible high pitched shriek, and suddenly the rest of the group is up in the air, buzzing near your head with deadly razor blades bared. Take 3 damage, and 1 damage each roll until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, a welding droid zaps you right in the rump! It pursues you relentlessly! Take 2 damage, and 1 damage each roll until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, the bots don't seem to awaken fully until you're half-way past them. Unfortunately, you manage to step right on top of one, which buzzes pathetically and alerts its mates. Take 4 dmg and deal +2 damage.
If you rolled a 5, you slip past carefully, and the only droids that take flight are sluggish in their movements, eyes yellow. When you get them in a secluded area you beat them into submission! Take 3 damage and deal +2 damage.
If you rolled a 6, you alert the bots but manage to fend them off valiantly for your team! Breaking off the sounding alarm of one of them seems to jam their systems, and as they buzz around in violent confusion you bat some of them out of the air. Take 2 dmg. Your attack does double damage.
