Uskeru was born to a small pride and lived quite happily. Her parents weren't very high ranked, but she loved them and they loved her. As she reached adulthood, the prince of the pride started to come by. She was naive and flattered by his attention. He would whisper sweet nothings into her ears to get what he wanted. The prince promised she'd be his queen when the time came for him to pick a wife. However, when he did choose his wife, it was someone else. Uskeru was horrified to realize she'd been played.
Embarrassed and shamed, she left the pride quietly one night.
