Well at least it was an improvement over her old score, but she was still in the 20s. Samara sat back with a small huff. She really hoped her family didn't look in on her grades; she would hate to disappoint her Granny like this.

Samara wanted to just sink into the floor and vanish. Shame she didn't have those skills down just yet. At least she continued the trend of doing better, and had broken into the 30s this time. Still. She prepared herself for the look-and-lecture of disappointment from the teacher, and resolved to pull an all-nighter if that's what it took to pass this test.

Samara felt awful, and only fear of the teacher's wrath and what her family might say if they found out about her grades kept her head off her desk. She really had tried to study all night, but in the end she hadn't given herself enough time to sleep and couldn't focus at all. She'd managed to get some questions that she'd answered correctly on previous retakes wrong on this retake. She groaned softly, not sure what she was supposed to do now. Geyser Eelborn Samara has the worst luck with the dice XD She had a similar mishap in social studies.

Everyone's been having trouble with this exam, honestly xDD Samara may try again on March 20th. In the meantime, you may enter another Junior if you have one/would like to.

As he listened to Mys. Grey he was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely not what he was expecting when he came to class today but Vanna wouldn’t say that he didn’t like it. He had often snuck out with Mai when they were still back home to go start gazing. So it promised to be a pretty fun science class. Come to think of it he hadn’t actually gone out lately with everything that was going on. The day passed in a blur and eventually it came time to go, Vanna was already dressed pretty warmly so the air was kind of crisp and refreshing. As they gathered around he did have to note that there were more students than telescopes. Luckily Vanna managed to snag one relatively early and opted to share with another student and they took turns finding different stars and sharing names and star gazing stories with each other. Vanna surprisingly didn’t know a couple of the constellation names All in all it was a very nice time. Maybe he could talk to Eilwen and Mai and go out occasionally, although he did note in the back of his head if they had another star gazing field trip to bring binoculars. They weren’t the best but it would help ease the traffic on the telescopes.

Stargazing... Zenith couldn't be more pleased with this activity. No, it wasn't because she had an astronomy related name...... Yes, okay, maybe that had some impact on her liking of it but still! Who didn't want an excuse to go lay out in one of the fields and just stare up at the sky?? The night of the activity, she bundled up in a few different layers, and even brought along a pillow to lay her head on.
Once there, she found a spot to make herself comfortable, and then laid back and relaxed- trying to see how many constellations she could make out. Occasionally she'd ask a question or two about what was moving around up there, but for the most part she was content to simply watch and listen to Mys Grey's lesson.

Stargazing wasn't really his thing, but he supposed it was sort of relaxing. He wasn't exactly a fan of the cold, though. So when the night came around that they were supposed to go out, Shaxio had bundled himself up in far too many layers for most people to handle. And then he'd added a scarf. And a hat.
The field itself was okay.. he didn't exactly ever come around that part of the school, though, so this.. was a bit different for him. Most of the others seemed keen on using the telescope, so he didn't bother with it for the time being. Instead he found a free spot - away from the others - and then settled down with a notebook to take notes on what he saw. Just in case. Mys Grey hadn't mentioned anything about wanting them, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
He noted each constellation he managed to make out, as well as what location in the sky they were... then, at the end, he finally looked through the telescope at least for a few moments... Nothing terribly interesting there, though...

Biology midterm.
Gross.
Ganymede was not particularly interested in this subject, but, he made sure to study before he came in. Most questions confused him, and the diagrams were confusing.... but by the end of it he was sure he'd at least earned a minimum passing grade. Eh, good enough.

Andromeda just didn't have it in him to study, and so, naturally...... When he laid eyes on the test, he had no idea what he was looking at...
Well, maybe next time?

[1st reroll]
Despite not really having it in him, Andromeda had that sort of memory where once he saw something, he remembered it. So, he'd taken the time to at least read through the textbook and prior homework before the test, and did much better this time around. Mildly pleased with himself, he leaned back in his chair once he was done, and waited for the class to end.

The beach! Aphelion had never been to the beach. He was really looking forward to it. The day itself was incredibly fun, if not a bit windy. He'd gathered himself a small collection of shells, and bits of sea glass that weren't sharp. By the end of the trip, he was a little sad to return to the academy, but he supposed all things had to come to an end. That's what his father would say, anyway.
Once back in the classroom, he immediately set to work writing down what he'd liked.
My favorite thing about the beach was the shells. They are very interesting to look at. I do not know what sort of creatures lived in them before, but I would like to find out sometime in the future. I also liked finding sea glass. Even though sometimes it is dangerous to be near it. I hope that we are able to go back to the beach soon.
Satisfied, he signed his name, and then passed it in when it was time.

Kaname had been looking forward to the beach trip since Mys Grey had announced it! During the weeks leading up to it, they'd been sure to be extra careful with their health - they really didn't want to miss out on the field trip because they were too sick to go! Thankfully, when it was time, they were feeling quite well and were able to join the others on the trip over.
The beach itself was wonderful! The fresh air felt amazing to breathe in, and the sand was fun to move around, even if it did get stuck in their feathers... they'd probably be preening their ankle wings for weeks!
Once back at the school, they set to work writing down their thoughts on the trip as soon as they were able.
I'm really happy that we went to the beach. My favorite thing was the fresh air..! Maybe when I get older, I'll live close to the beach so I can breathe it in all the time. I get sick a lot at home - my zizi thinks maybe its because the city has a lot of stuff in the air. I also liked building sand castles!
There. Hopefully that was good! They wrote their name at the top, and then passed it in to Mys Grey when it was time.

What was this "beach" and why were they going to it?? Naoya hadn't exactly been paying attention to what Mys Grey was talking about, but oh... once they arrived, he sure wished he HAD.
That was a lot of water. A lot of moving water. The small bakeneko remained glued to Mys Grey's side the entire trip, fur poofed up as much as it possibly could, eyes wide with alarm. He did not like this. Not at all.
He did, however, like the spiral shell he managed to find within safe distance of Mys Grey. He picked it up and tucked it into his sweater.. maybe Amatus would think it was cool. Once back at the academy, and away from the scary end of the world, he settled in to write his experience down as instructed.
I don't like the beach!!! I don't!!! THERE'S SO MUCH WATER!! Why?!? Why is there so much water!!??? What do they do with all of it??? Is that why it's so green out here????? I'm so confused!!!
I did find a cool shell, so that was okay. I like that?? But I don't like the beach!!! No!!!

Papaya thought this trip was kind of... boring? At least until they discovered some seaweed that had washed up on shore. That was pretty interesting. What was more interesting, was the way the others reacted when they threw it at them. The shrill squeals were just sooooo amusing!!
Once they were back at the school, they procrastinated writing the homework assignment until the day it was due...
The beach was okay. I don't like sand that much. But the seaweed I found was cool! I think the others hated it though. But they're just lame. I s'pose I'd go again if I had to.
Hah. That would do it.

Citali sighed as she stared at the exam. Science really was not her thing and the more she studied, the more confused she got and the more she seemed to forget. Why couldn't science be a lot easier? Well, the worst she could do was fail...right?
