Oh great, Pothos and Aglaia were having another episode...
Excusing himself from the mortals, Himeros started to head in that direction, but stopped when Harmonia butted herself into their conversation. Wonderful. She was about as empathetic as a bag of bricks, he'd noticed. She would likely make things worse. Concern for his twin, however, weighed for a moment against his desire to see Pothos snap and possibly try to use Harmonia as a perch, or even better, a riding pony like that one poor Pae a few years back at one of Mother's parties...
Ah, those days were far easier...
Upon noticing some mortals turning their attention their way, Himeros decided to split the difference. Let Harmonia possibly trigger a worse reaction...at least he could keep the mortals from bothering his twin in a time of weakness.
Sweeping over into the line of sight of the pair of Naiad, Himeros put on a winning smile. "Milady, sir...perhaps I could help you both with something?" With the mystery...or not...either worked for him. Then, he adopted a curious look, glancing behind them. "Err...something interest you both over here? Otherwise, maybe you had some thoughts to share?"
Daisicle Hjortur -- Reminder, Adonis' body is not here. It wouldn't have been left lying there for two seasons; it was prepped for a memorial, but stolen as detailed in the end post of the last VDay event; the earlier posts from Aliza and Venus re-watching the murder occur were using their magic mirrors to replay the scene

After having been shooed from the hallway, Tassos sighed. Well, there was no way getting any closer to the actual killer. The real clues were now being blocked!
He grumbled and mumbled something completely incoherent under his breath before turning to his partner. He shrugged and then continued to look at her expectantly. It was her turn to come up with something to do now.Seneca frowned, wanting to protest her Mother shoving her out the room, but knew better than to even try. At least right now. She took a moment to rub her arm and follow the rest of her family back into the fray. She turned in the main room towards one of the broken pillars and fluttered her way to the top of it for the time being.

Amaya frowned "I have no idea, I liked your master plan I finding an amazing piece of evidence where they won't let us go" At this point she started looking for someone else to talk to who might know something.

Tassos sighed and grumbled some more. He didn't like being idle for too long. He looked around and noticed the graces - young and old - being shoved out of Venus' room by Venus herself. Most were apparently befuddled and lost, not knowing where to go now. Some ran off to pitch in...
Still, there were plenty of the Retinue available now. He turned back to Amaya and waved a hand at the cluster before it dispersed completely. Perhaps they could talk to one of them?

Having never been to one of Venus' party she new little to nothing about most of the retinue. She had been hoping that Hjortur would have more information on the arrows. "Agreed, asking them directly seems like the fastest course of action."
She was about to head over to Pothos' and the group surrounding him when they where approached by one of the Erotes. Well that was good timing. If the god was willing to help that would make things a bit easier.
Surely they wouldn't be a bother if he had come over right? She stopped twirling her bangs and let her hand fall to her side as she addressed Himeros. "Ahh yes, my partner and I where wondering if we may ask a couple of questions."

[With permission from Teigra, we're just going to not worry about how Hjortur and Kaarina came across the knowledge that a golden, dove-fletched arrow was among those that pierced Adonis' body two seasons ago. I apologize for misinterpreting Venus' post and creating an unrealistic situation as a result, and I will try harder to avoid creating a similar situation in the future]. What a great coincidence to have Himeros come over just as they were pondering their next move! They must of been quite lucky indeed. Hands free of any sort of potential arrow that did not exist in this moment, Hjortur bowed his head lightly to the god. "Actually, your timing could not have been any more perfect." He glanced to Kaarina, as she spoke, no body of Adonis or number of arrows near them, and gave her a simple nod before addressing Himeros.
"Would any of Venus' retinue happen to wield a golden arrow fletched with the feathers of a dove?"

So the green one was insistent it wasn't the jealous lover, not matter. The thought still entertained her and that's all that mattered to her. Her brother seemed to be locked in a battle of thought and Eszra poked him playfully. "Have I lost you to thoughts of my victory dear brother?" she cooed, petting the turnip on her staff some more.
The tiny piercing wail from the cherub naturally drew her attention and the morbid fae followed suit. Well she tried anyways. It seemed the songbird was now keen on keeping them out of the deliciously blood covered walls and floors of the hallway. Oh how she wanted to linger near the tiny hand prints and investigate further. "Shame." she sighed, wandering over to lean an arm on a rather grumpy angel's shoulder. Grinning, she glanced towards him, raising her smiling turnip staff as if to let it look him over too.
"Such a shame. Should have liked to see it more." she smirked, running a finger through her curly locks, her flaming antenna dancing close to the angel's head. It was then she spotted his....partner? "Oh?" was all she said before waving the other off to lean more against the angel. "Curious isn't it, the arrows lodged into the wall? I hear murmur some of her retinue are.. well missing. Say, have you been to one of her parties before?" Eszra eyed him darkly, a strange glimmer in her eyes. Her question was totally besides the point and she seemed more interested in finding more blood and bodies than actually solving the murder.
"The distressing damsel has locked herself in her room too it seems. I was hoping to see her put that weapon to good use. Oh well. Harlow darling where are you?!" she tutted at her twin who seemed to have lost himself in thoughts. "Stop daydreaming!"

Mayu blinked at the Naiad in surprise, "Oh, dear, I do apologize! It seems we have forgotten it wasn't common knowledge. The Erotes have spent so much time investigating this thing, that conversation about that has faded from their lips it seems."
"Well, of course the arrows are common knowledge, but the report came back with other wounds found on his body. Hiding beneath his loin cloth was a gash on his inner thigh and a similar one on his calf. Its pattern didn't match that of a sword, but more of a rope, whip, lasso- those sort of items."
She then got a weird look on her face, "The other thing they found was possibly the most curious. The tiny pink arrow that was found in his, uh how do you say it politely- buttocks? Well, it was sent out for testing and came back positive- it had been dipped in a paralysis toxin. Explains the odd entrance he had. Anyways, all that flexing and going on sped up the poison and made it very difficult for him to make it in here to Venus in the end."
She gave off a long sigh and shook her head, "You should have seen Lady Venus when she heard all of that. You think she's bad now..." All Mayu could do was trail off and give the female a sad smile. It didn't matter at this point if they didn't catch the culprit, "Can I do anything else for you? I do not mean to sound rude, but I must desperately find out what happened to these cherubs."

"Paralysis toxin? Where in the world did that come from?" That was strange...But she had kept the bird long enough. "No thank you. You've been really helpful, though I only have more questions..." She smiled to Mayu. "Thank you so much for the information. There's a lot to think about now." Lola nodded her head before moving back to her partner. "Paralysis toxin...Where do you think that came from? Feels like we're missing something..."

Mayu nodded and smiled at the other, "I do wish I could ease your mind with answers, but you will have to seek that out with Venus' own. They may be able to better answer them, anyways. I know only that which Venus passes on to me."
She gave the other a bow of the head, "It was a pleasure, dear, best of luck with your search. I do hope you find something and know we are so gracious that you would help us during this time of need."
She then turned away from her moment of distraction and focused back on the hallway. She spread her wings open and took to the air rather than the ground. She would not mess with the crime scene, she was only interested in seeking out the bodies. They could have more clues. She motioned her sisters to follow after her and headed after the streaks on the ground that signaled the dragging of those bodies.
"We can leave the bloodied hallway to Venus' children. We need to locate these cherub. If the murderer did this, then we could be looking into a possible fight." She looked at each of them with a hard stare, "I hope you all are ready to do something like that in order to protect Lady Venus. I would never ask something like this of you otherwise. I know you can hold your own though."
They were different from the others she had come to realize from her explorations as well as conversations with Venus. Violence and harsh actions were just not in their nature. To be asking this of them hurt her. She didn't want to see a feather on their heads harmed, but when it came to their Lady everything went out the window. Once she felt she had taken enough time to preparing them she continued on.Dementia Requiem Asumi Mayu leading Caoimhe down the hall EvilSilverDragon Mayu leading Lillibeth down the hall

Summer nearly dropped her her wine glass when she heard the yell she ran over to the hallway with the other pae. From what she could hear from what others had said it looked like one or more the cherubs had been killed she was not that clear. It looked like the way of death might be the same as for the god. Was it a copy cat or could it be the real killer. She could not tell. She saw all the different arrows in the wall. That made her wonder. leaving the others in the hall way she noticed a pink goddess run over to a dark blue god. Maybe she could help her answer the question. Walking over she tapped the shaking pink goddess on the sholder. "Um excuse me I have a few questions if that is no problem?" Summer wondered what had caused this goddess to be so shaken up maybe she could get more info from her than just this strange question about arrows.

Aglaia put her hands over Pothos' hands on her cheeks. "Not again." she whispered. "She won't do this again. We can't let her."
But then dear sister Harmonia arrived to comfort them. She's one to talk about disharmony. "You!" Aglaia scolded, "Stay away from me!" Her voice was gritty and dripping with venom. A tone the now-timid Goddess of Beauty had never taken. Aglaia backed away from Harmonia and Pothos, scowling at their sister. "Eris wouldn't even know us if not for you!" she yelled while holding a finger of blame pointing towards Harmonia. She didn't know Pothos' feelings or if he even knew, but Aglaia had intimate knowledge of just how 'disharmonious' her sister was.
It was Harmonia's relationship with her BFF Eris that first drew the Chaos God's attention to the House of Venus. Eris' first target was the sad and lonely, Pothos. And next Aglaia and her vanity. It was Eris that caused the unhealthy mortal obsessions Aglaia suffered as an attempt to destroy Venus' most cherished daughter's reputation and status of godhood. Eris' plan to undo Venus started with controlling her children to destroy from within.
Aglaia cowered, bending to the floor and hugging her knees to her chest. "She will never win," she sobbed and put her head down. Her eyes squeezed so tight the tears couldn't escape. The Goddess wrapped her fragile new pinks around for comfort, as a cozy shell. She'd find a way to defeat Eris. She had to. She couldn't live like this in constant fear. And deep down she hoped Harmonia wasn't a puppet anymore, because she seemed to be her sweet old self. But Eris' influence seemed to linger and show itself at the worst times. She begged the powers-that-be for Harmonia to not be the reason she felt Eris' presence.
But for now, all the strength she could muster was spent keeping her from completely losing it. She was shaking, and felt cold. This wasn't helping anyone.

Himeros frowned at the question, answering without thought, "Eros? Sounds like his arrows...wait, why do you ask that in particular?" Why would they want to know that? Where...had they seen one of his arrows? Wait...did they think that the arrows were a clue? Did they think Eros might be a suspect?
Granted, Eros had been more than a bit...moody, since the whole fiasco with Venus and his wife, Psyche, but...nah, this was going too far.
"...'Course, now that I think on it, I think Anteros uses dove feathers too..." Before he could say anything else, however, Aglaia's voice reached his ears over the noise of the crowd. Huh...and here he thought Pothos might snap first. He turned his eyes with interest to the scene unfolding with the trio of deity nearby. Heh...Goddess of Harmony...right. And I'm a Goddess of Chastity! Ha!

Clues
One of the suspects is trying to frame someone else.
---
Only one of the suspects is not accounted for at the investigation in the temple. So it will be impossible to get their alibi. One of the suspects that is accounted for in the temple right now has no alibi. One of the suspect's alibi is a lie.
The murderer saw one of the other suspects at the time of the assault.
---
"Time of assault" and "Time of death" are two very different things.
((Start asking around for alibis if ya don't know 'em. If you think you've gotten it figured out, start piecing the puzzle together. Ares will not give answers, so don't ask him.))

Post for AlizaDefeated again by the rejection of Venus, Aliza moped outside of the door. Would finding Adonis' killer make grandmother happy? Or only unleash the vengeance of the Goddess of Love? Would it bring herself happiness, so she can tend to Venus once again? The demi-god of Beauty rested her forehead on the door and sighed. Why was this all happening and making everything so hard?
She lifted herself away from the door and walked towards the ball room full of investigators. She was sitting on a piece of information that she knew might upset some others, so she hadn't spoken up. But maybe she should...
"Shansa! Wait up," as soon as Aliza caught up with her aunt, she pulled her aside and started whispering. "I ... I saw something else. I've been too scared to tell anyone else this ... saw what happened to your dad's body."
Seruta Seneca - quoting if you want Seneca to join the conversation. Menelie Zuleika - you don't have to respond, I am just quoting you to let you know the Younger Graces are doing stuff again.
