Hair the color of fresh blood spills its way down her. The hair isn’t neat and orderly, instead, it spills from her head in all directions. Its appearance brings to mind a slit throat. Out of her arms stab cruelly twisting spikes of bleach-white bone. As she perches a cruel smile curls her lips showing rows of pointed teeth like a leech or perhaps a lamprey. The smile doesn’t touch her eyes which perpetually weep blood. Her splotchy tongue flicks out licking up the half coagulated blood on her cheeks.

A rift opens in the skies of Hueco Mundo, above the sands of Muchos. From the portal falls Sasori, landing heavily on the sands of Hueco Mundo. He looks around to see the strange batlike Hollow perched on one of Hueco Mundo's 'trees'. It is one of the freakier Hollows it has seen. He proceeds to prey upon some of the smaller Hollows around the area, utilizing his pounce and spiritual wolf claw abilities. He also trains in the use of his poison spot to get used to the range of it. He continues to keep an eye on the other Hollow, trying to decide if it is a threat or not.

She watches the wolf-scorpion hollow fall out of the portal and land on Hueco Mundo’s hot white sand. She stares at the visitor for a second, then two and then three. After about a full minute she jumps off of the ‘tree’ flapping her way down to land directly in front of the visitor-whoever they are. Her posture is less threatening than it is clinical and casually curious. A voice leaves her lamprey throat. It is clipped and precise with an accent he can’t quite place. “Hello, and who might you be? A predator I suspect given your appearance. Then again, appearances are often deceiving.” Up close her bleeding eyes glow the same silvery white as the moon that hangs perpetually in the skies above the land of the hollows.

Sasori proceeds to quickly dash backwards from the hollow before assuming a ready stance, with the area right around his hands getting slightly hazy, but the haze not forming into anything yet. His fur bristles and his tail curls up over his head. He then replies to the other hollow. “You must not know much then. Everyone of us is a predator. Some just stronger than others. So here, never depend on appearances.” He then crouches slightly, ready to pounce if he needs to defend or attack. The legs on his head and neck curl about to protect his throat.

Hunger does make formulating clear sentences difficult but that’s not terribly important I suppose. At any rate, I’m not here for violence. Not against you. Such an activity would be an exhausting waste of our time, at least at the present moment.” The bones in her twisted arms grow out carving up through her pallid flesh at his threat response. Her tongue lolls out for a moment, flicking to taste the air. “Two sets of claws are always better than one, are they not? Bigger threats than we there are. Safety exists in numbers.”

“I would not be averse to forming a pack. Numbers does increase chances of survival.” His posture relaxes some. His tail curls down, his legs on his neck uncurl, and his shoulders relax more. He reaches out and grabs another of the small hollows around there and starts consuming it. The haze around his hands disappears as he does. He heads of into he sands of Hueco Mundo, not looking to see if the other hollow was following. He needed something stronger to feed on, given the growth he had experienced in the area around the destroyed Karakura Town hospital.

Sasori looks away to catch and devour a small hollow, and when he looks back the hollow he had been talking to had vanished. He drops into a crouching, ready stance and looks around for them. He doesn’t see anything, but doesn’t let down his guard. He wouldn’t be surprised if they had some way to hide themselves. He continues on his way, keeping his guard up as he hunted more hollows. He wanted to reach the next level of power, and he needed strength to do so. Eventually, he feels something shift. The next small hollow he catches burns as his touch secretes an acidic compound. He grins at this new development, then suddenly feels the rei of stronger hollows coming from somewhere in the distance. Interested, he makes his way there.

XXXA group of hollows congregated in the long, lonesome sands of Hueco Mundo. Their bodies cast long shadows on the white shands with the pale moon hanging low. There was barely anything else around save for the sparse scattering of deadened trees. Their limbs reached up to the black sky devoid of any foliage, the breeze howling between their limbs as it carried the sands from one dune to the next. The hollows that were gathered were conversing with one another, unaware they were being watched by another, yet unseen, creature. Her pale fur blended almost perfectly with the bleached grains of sand that made up the desert. The hollow's realm was predominantly painted with shades of white and black, grey mingling between the two. There was room for very little else. Any other color was flashy and was either a show of strength or overconfidence. Do not approach me screamed the vibrant crimson of the more powerful hollow's markings. But the watcher was a hunter and no mater how powerful she was, camouflage was more important than any decoration or threat display. There was a chortle, a cacophony of laughter, that escaped the group as they described a rather gruesome kill one of them had performed. They were creatures of avarice and glory, wallowing in their victory instead of finding another. Such was the foolish nature of beasts that did not understand their own predicament. The only way to get stronger here was to hunt and the fastest way to do so was not to stop and converse like so many did in Hueco Mundo but to continue hunting over and over again; Not so much to become bloated upon the carcasses of their kills but to keep ones self fed. Even if it meant waiting patiently for the perfect opportunity to strike, sitting silently for hours or days until your quarry let down their guard; So certain that they were safe that they relax and finally rest. The hunter in wait had done so with one of the hollows of this group for many days now, tracking it over dunes and under hills under the dark sky of the barren land. It was only damned luck that had brought her prey to a group of like-minded individuals. Compatriots that they had met before and were now joining together again to kill with one another. Like a pack of wolves, they began to roam. They were on high alert as they hunted, seeking larger prey. None of them could be above Adjuchas. The mentality was likely that if they stuck together and didn't kill one another that they would have a good chance of finding a larger prey and feeding off of it together. What fools. That would only lead to infighting in the future. One would inevitably become stronger than the rest and would similarly be predated or would manage to wipe the group out. It was only a matter of time, such as hollow nature was. Regardless, they moved as one. Slowly roaming the sands in search of their next victim. Faire followed. She would have the opportunity to pick off one or more of them as the hours passed. As one strayed from the group he would find a new hole to breath through, a silent bolt ripping through his throat from an unseen archer. The others would move on not realizing what had happend or not caring as Faire fed quietly, moon-like eyes watching their departure to note in which direction they were heading. A black mask, most unlike other hollow's, turned to briefly scan the horizon behind her. It would not do good to be so focused on her quarry that she became oblivious to threats around her. For now, all was quiet. She continued to follow, cloven hooves pressing into the sands and carrying her over dunes. She crested each hill slowly, to avoid detection, as she folowed the group of marauders. Another fell behind the rest, not for a lack of trying, but perhaps they had not eaten in some time and their stamina was lagging. She had no idea what lodged itself in the back of her skull as the ground rose to meet her vision, the warmth ebbing from her as the cold embrace of death slowly surrounded her thin form. She had the appearance of a fox, Faire noted, as she began to feed. How shameful for a predatory beast to be slaughtered by a lamb. That left two more, now wary as they continued to travel. They were heading towards Los Noches in the distance, though it was many days away. They did not rest now, staying on their feet and heads on a swivel. Faire was patient. They would eventually drop their guards again as they forgot about the danger that lurked just out of their sight. She was confident that she could take both of them at once, but she wanted to make sure they would not have the time to react to the bolts that tore through the sky as flashes of cerulean energy. She settled down, continuing to follow them but not as alert to what they were doing and her attention more divided towards her surroundings. They had no idea where she was and she could continue to track them easily enough. They were not the most intelligent and had failed to cover their own tracks throughout this hunt. The sport had been almost removed from this particular hunt, the prey was weak and not especially cunning. There was no challenge to this. But she needed to do this. She needed to feed and hone her own skills. If she was going to take on stronger quarry on her own. Else she would be done for and completely unprepared when something or someone stronger wandered along. It was a few days later as she followed them when they finally let down their collective guards. Perhaps the two had forgotten what had befallen their cohorts or perhaps they thought the danger passed. Regardless, she had bided her time until this very moment. They had their backs to her conversing, maybe planning their next move when two bolts came screaming out of the dark. The arrows lodged themselves both in the back of the hollow's masks and they crumpled. Faire took her time feeding on them as she remained on guard, she would never let herself be done in the same way as these two. No. Never again.

Eiji was like a lion amongst prey. He moves were swift and efficient, without a wasted movement. He killed one hollow, and then another. The second was dead before the first hit the ground. Eiji was in his element, his casual smile widening into a mad grin of excitement. The blood from the hollows, a black ichor, splattered across Eiji’s face, but he did not seem to care. He was Eiji the Demon. He lived for this. Each hollow that fell before his blade only made him smile more.
However, these hollows were proving to be less fun than he would have liked. They fell too easily, their bodies turning to dust before he could make them into a neat little pile. He longed for something else. Some new prey. He had never been to Earth, but he had heard tale of it, of the morsels that awaited for those willing to make their way there to claim them. Eiji hungered. He was a hollow, after all, no matter how he looked. The look in his eyes was the look of a ravenous beast, eager to slaughter.
Eiji cleaned his blade and returned her to her sheath. He stood there for several moments, as if deep in thought. He did not know exactly what he would find in the mortal realm, but he was eager to discover what the fuss was all about. In any case, it would be nice to have the chance to kill something more than a fledgling hollow.
More than his hunger drove him to desire to make his way to earth. He wanted to test his blade against someone else, to find a swordsman worthy of dying by his hand. Someone who could cut him. The thought sent a shiver up his spine.
Reiatsu 65 | Speed 10 | Strength 15 | Defense 10 | Stamina 10 | Intelligence 10 | Spiritual Power 10 Raion entered the region of Hueco Mundo known as Muchos. He turned and waited to see if either of the other two had followed him. He knew the hybrid would be following him, but he thought he had heard the spider hollow say that they weren’t going to be following. He was extremely curious to see what the mortal would be able to do with hollow reiryoku. This curiosity is outweighing his hunger for now. Although he wouldn’t try anything against this individual, as he could sense she was much stronger than he was right now. He sat and patiently waits for whoever shows up.

XXXAcri followed behind Raion, strolling casually as she went. Her golden hues within her eyes surveyed the horizon, taking in the entirety of the land. Acri had never been to Hueco Mundo before, despite her ability to travel between the realms; Akkai's smoke made it possible to traverse the corridors between worlds unscathed. Her inhuman eyes settled on Raion, perched upon the sand, sitting patiently and waiting for the group to arrive. Acri was unsure if the spider was coming though. She seemed content to remain in her web in the woods, feeding off of unsuspecting hollows as they passed into her snare.

He turns to the non hollow with him. “So what do you want to learn to do?” He stays sitting, waiting to learn what his companion wants to be able to do. This could teach him a lot about what they are like. And if he can get them into a conversation while they are learning, he could possibly find out how they gained this trait. As well as their motivations, both for coming here and learning to make use of hollow reiryoku as well as their motivations in general.

XXXAcri breathed in, absorbing the reiryoku that hung heavy in the air. A heavy sigh escaped her lungs as she exhaled, her eyes slowly opeing. There was a slight glow behind her wolfish eyes. "Hmm. I don't know?" Acri shrugged, gathering a bright cerulean energy in the palm of her slender hand.
"I have no idea what I'm doing. Haha." She laughed, the chortle a high jovial noise. The orb in her hand swirled, flaring with crimson reishi as she rolled it between her fingers. She leaned upon the ball of one of her feet, cocking her hip to the side and resting her empty hand on her wide hip.
Kyo would move into Muchos, sniffing about the area slowly. There was nothing to do and his hunger was growing slowly. He had to do something, at least, to pass the time. But being who he was, he moved to lay down in the sand and huffed heavily. His red eyes would look around and noticed everyone else in the area. Should he interact or attempt to eat one of them. He debated it in his head for a few moments before shaking it slowly. They were definitely stronger than him in that moment. Perhaps when he got stronger it would benefit him more.

He starts to show her how to create and fire Bala, a fairly basic hollow ability. He gathers energy along one arm, then fires it from his claws. A spattering of Bala hit the sands near Kyo, but not near enough to be dangerous. He shows the technique a few more times, then looks at Acri. “Maybe see if you can mimic that? It is a fairly basic technique of manipulating hollow reiryoku, so you should be able to do it.” He waits for her to try.
