Sara looks at the man taking a seiza like position, it must of been something he was taught by his family or someone else. It is the kind of position someone takes in a form of apology, something she has seen before. Some men don't do it but a simple bow with the words is enough. This man is something else though, she sighs out a bit, she isn't his superior in where he comes from but she is a Vice Captain. No one should have to take a seiza position in such a manner. "I am Sara Ichika Ren, Vice Captain of the 13th Division and you sir don't need to take such a position like you are now. Raise your head and show much appreciated respect next time, i don't see you in my division, i am only second in command in my division, for now that is. However i am not your "boss lady", keep your head up and learn better manners and i am glad you don't show any threat to me or intend to either." She walks up with one index finger lifts him up using her strength but being very gentle, like a butterfly that just landed on his head. She then smiles and continues"I am sorry i went harsh on you but its because i don't like stuff like that very much, its not what i was taught that is proper. You are excused of this behavior, i won't mention it to anyone but please do better though. If i catch you doing something like that again, one way or another, ill report to your superiors on my personal behalf." She finishes what she wanted to say but put it a very kind and serious way. The kind of way that should lighten this man she is willing to let it slide into the wind of the abyss but if it continues, it may resurface in a more grotesque form of punishment. Not like turning this man's body inside out but it won't be nice punishment but be handled by his superiors. Anyway there is another who introduced himself.
Ambrose... a good name however he is very nervous it appears. Maybe someone in his division didn't teach him how to address himself by rank to another. "Ok, well i will excuse that as well, no hard feelings but how you address yourself is by your last name first and then first name like mine. Though i don't use the Japanese tradition all that much but i highly respect it." She chuckles a bit about the fact he mentioned that the orphanage would have his rear if he did the similar mistake that Unmei has made. "Well at least you know manners but what is your rank in the Ninth Division? Since you didn't mention it or didn't think of it as a sign of respect, it is important to mention your name and then the rank of the division your in." She is doing her best to lighten this two even though she is still thinking about her recently assigned mission, she can't waste too much time but she has enough time to hopefully teach these two the different area they lack that she sees. Rank and Manners are two big things like two isles separated by a ocean, each one has their own culture as well as acculturate and their developments of technology. They can become connected when a fellow bond or a friendship forms, closing the ocean gap. Unmei is lacking manners, so as far as manners go, the region he must of been in could of been a bad area or something. On the other hand, Ambrose is too nervous about corrective behavior relating to ranks and how to address a superior. These things should of already established but its better late the never. She would put her hands on her hips, her hips kind of press up against her hands as one of her legs takes on a angle putting a little bit of a standing stool like position on the left leg. "I be willing to teach the both of you if you two are enthralled to learning things from me. I can't simply just walk off and not express some knowledge of have of both manners and rank. I am not saying you two are not capable of learning but leaving you like this is bound to be trouble for you later. Manners and Rank...how do i put this for you both? Manners and Rank work hand to hand specially when it comes to the enlisted members of each division. Knowing the difference and the similarities of the two can socially save you a lot of trouble. Manners would be like when a Vice Captain comes down the hall way, you address them by rank and last name if you know it. Don't try to guess it, at that point it would just make you look like you are not informed or even like you are purposely being disrespectful. Even though they have authority, they are still Shinigami like you both. So manners should come naturally to you as long as you have taught about it. Rank well, knowing the ranks and the possible representation of those ranks such as the badge i wear as a vice captain, can keep you out of trouble too. Don't get others mixed with other divisions, it can confuse others and maybe cause chaotic situations. So rank is important but manners should mix in with it just to give yourself a good standing. I am hoping i explained it well to you and if you have further questions, think about my words then apply it and everything else should fall into place. Got it?" She crosses her arms in a very friendly way, no anger, just concerned expression about them absorbing all the information she just passed on. Some may have a better way of explaining these things but she did the best she could with them. Just hopefully they piece it together and nothing like liquid falling in between the cracks happens.

Unmei lifts his head when she encourages him to do so. She is a cute and tiny woman. A light blush touches his cheeks and he mutters, "Thank ya, Vice-Captain. I am from a clan that the formality of seiza is .. um .. what did the doc say ... standard eti- eta- um good manners. 'Specially if we deserve it. Doc likes to see eye to eye." She then rattles off something about introductions. Realizing that the lecture is over he stands up to his full height of six and a half feet tall. He looks down at her and wonders if he should have stayed kneeling. Such a height difference! He finally responds to her, "I am Zankokuna Unmei from Doc Shakaku's household, the fourth seat of Seventh Division. Hell if I know how that happened. All I know is Doc ain't ta blame for me bein' rude. I only just got brought outta North Rukongai Eighty. He's a good man." He looks at her with a surprised expression. How is it he keeps finding all these nice rich folks who have the time to teach a country bumpkin from the worst district in the entire Soul Society? She then asks something and he starts to try to figure out if it is something he actually understands. Deciding that he does, he nods. "Yes, ma'am. Jus' real new to all this." He looks over at Ambrose and ponders the similarities in him and some of the members of his new clan. For now he refrains from making comment on it. "I dun think I am all that smart, but I will try my best, ma'am. 'm sure that this Ambrose fella will be smarter than me and pick up faster."
Ambrose watches the interaction between the vice captain and Unmei with some interest. He would use any situation to learn if their was something to be learned and relaxes when he realizes that the incident between the two seemed to be over at least for now. She then turns on him and explains the proper way to to introductions. Which causes him to blush slightly as he also remembered that the man who brought him had told him this already though in a hurried way. As if he had to be somewhere else more important. "Sorry Vice Captain um Sara um Ren um. ugh! Sorry Ma'am." Ambrose bows or at least tries to it was obvious to anyone that this was also something he was not use to. Apparently neither was talking to a superior officer. He now wanted to run and hide for another twenty years. But running away like a coward was not an option as far as he could tell. And would most likely seem disrespectful to both of the shinigami that he was talking to since both out ranked him. He sighs and takes a deep breath trying to settle his nerves. After the first breath he takes a second. "Sor... If you will allow, I will try again. I am Brambles Koori Ambrose, the sixth seat of the Ninth Division. Where I have been it is unwise to state your rank unless you want beat up. Also they have a different definition for what is considered good manners I am still getting use to the deference between here and there." He explains then frowns to himself trying to gauge if he has said to much. "I have not been here very long I did live here when I was younger but on day when I was around five my mother received a letter from my father to flee to Earth... I think I need to shut up now Vice Captain Sara-sama, Zankokuna-sempi" He hopes that he has not messed up again but closes his mouth thinking that one of these days he was going to get himself killed all because his mother didn't teach him. Or that the people who raised him did not know. Or that the guy who brought him only took a minute to explain. Or that he did not research everything first before going out in public

"Your welcome, then again i would like to meet your clan sometime, they sound like a good group of people. Fourth Seat of Seventh Division huh, and you come from a part of town that is worse then mine. Well i am glad you have a good family bloodline that can work with you and teach you what you need to do. As long as you get the basic concept of it, that is more then enough for me. Just remember to continue learning and you will be on your way." She would say so in a very kind way, not at all mean but motherly like tone. Its very clear she cares as she hop and hug Unmei then lets go with a smile. Unmei is someone she may look after from time to time as she has rather taken interest about considering him a potential friend. Her tail in response would flick in a happy way as it would wave near the ground in a happy anticipation of such a friendship.
She turns to Ambrose saying sorry and is trying to determine what the appropriate apology is. She giggles a bit in a very happy tone as she would say"Its fine, you are doing your best." She would listen to him as he would do so again but does it very well and mentions that bringing up rank can get him beat up. Maybe in some places like 11th Division but on the other hand, it should be a respected way of showing proper respect to someone who is of higher ranking. Though he mentions how he should shut up now specially mentioning along the lines of how when he was five, his mother had fled to earth because of a letter from his dad. Well she suppose that there is a lot of factors. She can't blame him, mouth to mouth, path to path, learning to learning; its all adds up as each person is different from the last. "Its fine Ambrose, both of you." She walks over to Ambrose and pats him on the head even if she had to hop up to do so and says"Don't worry about it, be yourself, learn well, and live well as a Shinigami." She would even close her eyes and smile real big face to face with Ambrose. "Would you both like to be friends with me? I welcome it." She said with a big smile as she hopes that she will gain some friends in this way.

Standing there watching Ambrose act every bit as awkward, he muses that he is not quite the only one who is out of their element as of recently, either. "Uh, please, just call me Unmei. I am just a simple retainer and do not know how I got a seat." His face is kind with sad eyes and his posture is that of somebody who is being trained to stand up right, but is not used to a more formal stance. Considering her offer he replies, "Sure, I'd love ta have friends. You, too, Ambrose."

Ambrose carefully considers all that is said and relaxes some when Unmei says just to call him by name and Vice Captain Sara makes an offer of friendship. "Sure. It is always good to have friends." He says with a smile as the thought crosses his mind that they are just standing there talking instead of training. Ambrose quickly dismisses the thought and focuses on the other two as they continue to talk. He hoped that they could be good friends in time at least if he and Unmei could get past their awkwardness. Though if he admit to himself Vice Captain Sara was kind of pretty. But that was something he would not admit out loud even to an empty room.

"Alright, ill heed your request." She listens further as Unmei explained he doesn't know how he got a seat. To her, it was a bit weird at that point because every one that has ever got a seat, either earned it through hard work or even heritage. Thing is for Sara, it was her potential recognized by her Captain and she got moved up to being his second in command. Though hearing both of them would love to have her as a friend, she gets excited using her tail to lift her up a bit as she would clap her hands together very happy. "Great." The tail would then go back in normal position as it would go back to shifting around in the air. They can tell with her tail moving around, she is thinking and is quite happy as well. Similar to a kitten that realized they are going to have a new home and is purring very sweetly. Who would ignore a friendship request and not want to bring happiness to a girl who appears to be a pink cat girl? She turns to Ambrose and smiles to say"It is always good to have friends you are correct about that." Sara would say with a smile as she would hear pleasant humming from her Zanpakuto. She can hear it but not the boys, but she would gentle pat her Zanpakuto in agreement. Then she looks back to the boys wondering what they may say or want to do together with her as friends.

Unmei smiles slightly at the two of them. It was gratifying to find friends, something that he is not quite yet used to having. Sara's peppy personality is incredibly cheerful and Ambrose's personality seems to be similarly subdued like his own. "Um, so what do we do now?" He is really unclear about what is going on in the first place.
Ambrose smiles happily at the two as he becomes more comfortable with the two. He had,had a few good friends in the past. But only got to see them when he got the chance to go to Earth. So far he had not really met anyone in the soul society. He has not even met anyone from his own division yet maybe that was part of his problem. So far every time he went by the ninth division headquarters their was seemingly no one around. He wonders about Unmei not knowing how he became seated. "I am not entirely sure myself... not sure I believe it. This guy claiming to be a relative of Mom's says it is mine because the seat was hers before she died. If mom was a Shinigami like I am then why did she not fight the Hollow that killed her." He frowns one of these days he would have to learn to watch what he says. One would think he would have learned better by now. But for some odd reason he found himself opening up to these two. He then smiles "What do I know she may not have been able to get out of her gigai. Apparently that is something that has happened to her in the past. Or she really! did not want me to become a Shinigami." He then shakes his head slightly finding the truth about his mother when he was ready to do so would be much easier than learning about his father. At least he new her name unlike his father. He then ponders Unmei's question a moment. And even though what he really wants is to train so that what ever happened to his father would not happen to him as well he thinks a break could be good. "Though I would like to finish learning the Bakudou that I am permitted to learn first a break would be nice we could go to the tea house or the bath... maybe I should just train" Ambrose cuts himself off thinking he had almost made a big mistake. He was unaware that some bath houses were mixed. Some days it seemed to him it would be better to just stay home in bed. "Eventually the sooner the better I need to learn some Hadou, Flash step, and White Prostration. I heard there is also a dojo nearby I'd like to go train there too." He says trying to draw there attention away from his supposed mistake.

"Well we can always train, the more experience you have in the heat of learning, the better the warrior you will become. Warriors are born in many shapes and sizes but truly what makes a warrior is defending one's home land or the place you call home. Isn't that why we are here in the Academy? To train and become stronger, possess the strength necessary to protect all we wish to protect? As friends, i hope we grow stronger together and see the path ahead of us. Though i am here to do the same, to train and become stronger as one day i will become a Captain and lead my division." Sunlight almost like shines on Sara in a way and it gives off a beautiful light as it reflects off of the Pink Rose Hair pin by her left ear, giving off a pink light. Its almost like its a aura, a imagery of kindness. Who would want to walk away from the kindhearted Sara?
Sara though listens to Ambrose further, noticing he has a problem with bursting out information about his personal life. Maybe he can't help but be open to them which makes Sara smile. Though she don't comment on it as she says"Yes there is many techniques here, Take your pleasure to the tomes and books about the knowledge. Learning the incantations is important after all, once you learned them, don't forget what the words are. If you do, something wrong can go with the Kido or it just won't work at all. Unmei and Ambrose, lets sit down and study together over Kido among other techniques, wouldn't that be fun?" Sara would put a pep in her jump as she would go ahead of them with her tail waving back and forth like a cat happy to find cat n**. She hopes that they will both join her in the library section of the Academy. Most time Sara prefers to learn through study first before she physically exercise it.

Unmei looks down when the subject of parents comes up. A painful memory stabs his heart, but he pushes it back down into the hollow pit that seemed to have replaced his stomach. "Perhaps she was a nora," he mutters softly, then claps his hand over his mouth. "GOMEN! I should never speak so unkindly or thoughtlessly." He looks up at Ambrose with a worried look on his face. He had in effect called her a stray. Even if it were there case the more polite term to call her would have been to say that she was possibly a rogue. Yet, more polite still would have been to keep it to himself and he knows it. The widened eyes and look of regret are hallmarks of a man who fully expects repercussions for it. His heart beats faster as he remembers his life before escaping and being brought into the Hi Clan. It was a painful life filled with fear. A life he has no desire to return to in any shape or form. "Forgive me?" He requests with anxiety in his voice. 'I finally make friends and this is how I treat them? I am the worst!'

Ambrose starts towards the library with the other two. As he follows he looks in the book he was already using to double check if their were any Bakudous that he had missed. Only to realize that he had actually finished them all. Which was good he thought for this meant he only had the Hadou and a couple others left. He then pulls his thoughts away from his training to listen to what Unmei says. "Come friend lets pull our minds from the past and back to the present it is not often one gets to train with a vice captain from what I have been told. Besides we are not our parents and they are not us." He says as he goes to put an arm over Unmei's shoulders only to realize that he was only wrapping his arm around his friends ribcage. He quickly drops his arm not sure how his companion would react. "Sorry." He says annoyed with himself. Not everyone liked being hugged especially by their own gender. Something he was already aware of from helping out at his old orphanage. He then walks up to the counter at the library and hands in the book he had. Then proceeds to hunt down the book on Hadou. To his disappointment he does not find a book with all of the hadou listed but he does find some scrolls and grabs the first one that he is permitted to learn. Maybe one of the other two would be willing to spar with him later. Though he would most likely just get his but kicked.

Ambrose looks over at Sara and frowns in thought. He was not sure how he felt about not addressing her by title but then shrugs it off "As you wish Sara." He says before turning back to the scroll that he was reading. After a minute or two he puts it back and grabs another one. Then moves back over to his friends where the living bean stalk pats him on the head. "Learning is always good it keeps ya outta trouble. Or so one of the ladies at the orphanage use to say." He says then grins impishly. "Though according to one of the boys I grew up with learning just gives you more ways to get into trouble depending on what you learn." He glances back at the scroll he was holding "Ben was always leading us boys in and out of trouble for the two years I knew him." Ambrose smiles slightly at the memory of his old friend. Ambrose had no desire to get himself into trouble with the skills that he was trying to learn. But the thought of flash step which was so much like Ben's Flying Screen Step.
