"Finding things?!" Tevini's eyes could not widen any further at how screwed they were if Blossmom turned out to be useless. Unaware of the badass-ery Scuttle was accidentally unleashing to the drones up to this point, Tevini was only catching snippets of her lusus yelping and shouting as he tried to navigate through the trolls battling and dodge as many projectiles as he possibly could.
"This isn't right!" The curly haired girl squeaked as a strange feeling of weightlessness came over them and it became known they were no longer on the ground. What on Alternia?! Then in the shell arms came at her and she was wrapped in a confused and frantic embrace with no time to react as they banged into a pile of drones below.
"Ow, are you okay?" Scuttle had suffered most of the impact but she'd still managed to bang against the top of the inside of the shell with Cerpin when they'd collided. Peeking at her companion, she blushed at how close they were but knew it was out of necessity. She couldn't reprimand the guy for just trying to protect her! Still it made her uncomfortable as she was not used to hugs.
In pain, Scuttle struggled to his feet and snapped at Blossmom to show his unhappiness at what had just happened. He hadn't had any real intention of actually biting the bird but managed to time it so he bit two passing drones and whiplashed them down. Well that worked too. Hey he was getting pretty good at this!

Stryke is attacking Kursha.
Stryke felt another drone grab for him, he'd had about enough of being touched, pulled and grabbed at. Headbutting the drone in front of him, he had a clear shot to attack. The blow wasn't nearly as satisfying as the first one, but it did manage to create a ribbon of green. Stryke hoped that scared.
Stryke deals 4 damage!

Karrem is attacking Byakko!
HP: 38/40
The perfect opportunity to attack arose for Karrem, but she hesitated and found herself face to face with the mutant's weapon instead of swinging her own. Susus quickly flew in to the rescue and protected Karrem from the attack with its hard exoskeleton.
Karrem was a tad irritated, grumbling that she should have suffered the consequence, but thankful all the same.
No damage dealt.

Afryse is Encouraging Witiko dad roared, a sound like wind crashing through broken bones and pottery. Wincing, afryse watched as his lusus blocked a blow from an enemy. Was this the right thing to do? Why did no one have a clear answer for him to follow. He desperately looked for Hemera. Where was she?! "H-Hemera? Where are you?"

Cerpin SugallThe snaps by Scuttle barely missed Blossmom and the bird let out a shrill angry noise at the other lusus but did not retaliate as his boy was still inside. Who knew what the turtle could do to him in there? Diving down, he swept a drone out of the way for Scuttle to roll towards a tunnel entrance but the strong gust of wind blasted the turtle into two more drones the other direction!
"Ouch, this is so ******** stupid!" Grunting as he rubbed at the bump on his head, Cerpin grumbled about how incredibly moronic this whole battle was. If they'd known this was the base of the rebels and that the rebel leader lived in here or whatever, why hadn't they just set up some explosives, caved the place in and then left? Why bother wasting so much money and time to get actual soldiers inside? But there was no one he could argue with about it now, he had to get out.
"I'm Cerpin by the way. Remember it! I'm going to fly to space if I get out of here and you'll have met a celebrity." He smiled smugly until the dizzying motion of Scuttle swirling around on his skates disoriented him and he concentrated on not throwing up.
"Who the hell are you?"

Her attention flicked around the room. Where was Odette? It had at last occurred to her that she should make sure her sponsor was alright, especially with her hurt foot. She scanned the floor and then the ceiling for the flying troll. "Birdy!"
She strode around the walls of the cavern and peered through the tunnels. "Yo, Scouts!" Anyone? There were so many drones it was hard to tell where their spiked uniforms ended and the rebels began.

Seeing a drone pressing in deeper past the line she'd marked off as the rebel territory, Etsali shifted her grip on a knife and charged forward to knock him to the ground. Ephias might be that way, she couldn't let anything through if she could help it. She stabbed into him fiercely with the small blade before scrambling away. Keep moving, keep moving.
Look for a chance to strike!

While he tried to keep his stance, it wasn't perfect. Sometime the puppy would have to learn from an actual fighting master or something. For now, he slipped, nearly falling on his face "Hey-yy-y! Whoa now!" While he avoided ending up on his rear, he lost his opening because of it. Boo!

She attacked the soldiers numbly, trying very hard not to care that she was committing her first true acts of treason. The prison? She had been saving her lusus. Keeping the Scout's secrets? Obligations to dear friends. This? Pure treason. She just about managed not to care, though. It was hard to care through the training-induced clarity that was on her mind. She was the hero, and as the hero she had to stay focused, on top of things, attacking properly. She saw Stryke fighting, along side her, and despite her battle blinkers, she was proud of him - he'd been so weak when she had met him, and that was okay: she'd been there to protect him. But now he could protect himself. And she felt a surge of pride break through her concentration. "Stay strong!" she shouted, as much for herself as for the others... It felt good.

So much noise. A small smothered sort of keen escape from Nictor whose lusus was still pressing close and protectively to him. It was warm and almost uncomfortable and a bubble of panic was rising in his chest at the sound of the chaos surrounding him but he couldn't see.
Above him Bee was clicking angrily at the drones, pushing and nudging any of them close by towards the fight.

Alifax swung again, heedless of the rather mindless chaos going on around him. There was only one person whose health actually mattered to him, and, well, if he was going to be honest...
She was definitely riding her lusus, and he hadn't seen any hippos lumbering in the fray, so she was probably hanging back for now. He hoped. But anyway with any luck the chaos would be over before she could do much of anything. He missed capable Frossa, although he knew it was mean to think it.
And wasn't that funny? Feeling mean?
