Sason smiles seeing everyone eat then looks to Aurora "what're you hungry for? I may not be as good as Francis cooking most things but you'll never forget my cooking I promise you that" he says cleaning his utensils like any other chef would before hanging them up right where Francis would. It was an inconvenience to him to work to another's order but he managed. When the maid who had helped her walked up Sason focused on their conversation while he appeared to be putting things away. He felt bad once again since her injuries were his fault because he wasn't strong or fast enough. That fact made him realize he wasn't good enough, not to be demon king and not to keep her safe like he'd promised. Letting out a sigh he accident puts his hand on Auroras which floods her with his thoughts on the subject and about her, and about himself, his history and everything about him. His depressed state made the moments of Kahls last slaughter of his staff ajd how cut up Sason was when that was done, Shimos last rampage that left him with that first massive scar. As well as all of the times he was kicked around and tortured for being a half breed, all up until his own rampage that crowned him demon king

She couldn't help but thinking he was a little cocky with how he spoke of his own cooking. She'd never forget it, he promised. The eggs and bacon would be fine, but the maid found her and they were going on with their conversation before Aurora could answer. She couldn't help but notice that Sason didn't move far away while the two spoke, but nothing was said that he didn't already know. When the woman left Aurora was turning to Sason when she felt his hand over her own. She registered the warmth and set her gaze on his hand, her thumb twitching ever so slightly, but enough to set up the contact for her connection. Aurora had to be the one to touch a person or object for the sight to work, but she saw was quite unlike the other times she had read Sason.
It was like he was playing a movie for her, directing the scenes while they whizzed by. Gore, carnage, blood, death from Kahls slaughter. Bodies on the ground, the house in complete disarray. The fight against Shimo, had her feeling like she was the one fighting him, the pain that crossed his body from the fight now her pain. Then it jumped further back, to times of torment, leading into the boiling pot that he was, which boiled over to rage. The memories, the pieces of the past was normal enough, but they were slowed down a little bit, more focused, which Aurora wasn't used to seeing as she was not the one making the decisions. No one had ever decided what they would show her. There was also the feelings on yesterday present the whole time in the background. He had just defeated an enemy with no one dead and yet there was this self loathing for things not going better than they had.
With a lot of effort, because of the content, Aurora finally pulled away from Sason, nearly falling out of her chair in the process. Holding that hand in the other she closed her eyes to control her breathing. When she opened her eyes she sighed and leveled Sason with that teal gaze. "I don't know how you did that...but you need to stop feeling pity for yourself. I mean really...How do you think yesterday could have gone better than it did? No one died and in comparison to that last round you two had at it, it sounds like that was a great step forward." Once again the evidence of alcohol made Aurora a little looser lipped, even in the presence of the other staff. Whom she realized were listening. One more look at him and she spun around and left the room heading for the front door, she needed some air.

Sason didn't realize what he had done but at her accusation that he had something to do with it all left him with an idea. He had somehow been able to control what she saw by subliminally focusing on it. This meant he could show her his past in bits, instead of a wild slideshow, if he got this right. Her question however got to him 'how could things have gotten better? Easy, by you not nearly dying to one of the lords, by them not getting inside' ajd finally he spoke aloud "it could have gone better if you hadn't gotten hurt!!" He shouts slamming his fist on the counter, with some control he managed not to break the counter bit everything in the room leapt a good six inches into the air before clanking back down. When the staff all looked at him he walked past them "once your duties are done you're done for the day, enjoy your meal everyone" he said as he walked out back, before turning back around ajd walking towards his personal wing with all of his demonic paraphanelia. There he saw the door he was looking for, completely black and bound in chains. "Aurora when you're feeling better meet me by the fire room please" he said over the intercom and waited outside the room that he used to have personal melt downs in. At the end of the hall was that black door that housed the gate to his realm, the underworld, aka Hell. He wanted to show her this while it was fresh in his mind, it felt imprtant to him for her to see where he came from and him without earth's damper on his powers

The noise of the room around them falling back into place was proof of his temper. And in Aurora's mind, misguided at that. People were reaching for silverware that were subject to gravity and had hopped from their safe place to end in the possibility of another. He was shouting at her now, 'Oh yes. This is just perfect. Why does it matter what happened if I'm fine now?!' She asked him the question in her head, and only spun at the door way to face him with a reference to herself and said, "I. Am. Fine!" How many times would she need to tell him before he believed her? Aurora had faced down worse and survived, yesterday had just been another day. There was no way to see it as he saw it, they were looking at the same thing with two very different perspectives. It would be possible to bet that if you had asked both Sason and Aurora to repeat the events of yesterday that they would give two totally different accounts.
Just outside the door she heard Sason's voice over the intercom. Feeling better? Aurora wasn't aware she was feeling poorly to begin with. She suspected it was code for having cooled off, but Aurora wasn't sure that was going to come any time soon. The booze in her system, the lack of rest, the day prior, it all spurred her on. Without care for quite where she was going Aurora walked. The cool air against her skin was calming, and it picked gently against the black dress she had on. The three-quarter length sleeves covered most of her arms, and the square cut over the chest was a modest look. It zipped up the back but also had a sash of dark grey that tied around the waist loosely. Her hair was down, as it almost always was, free to just be as it was. The shoes she had been given were better fitting, and new, they were comfortable, and they were what was carrying her now.
Without any track of time or distance, since Aurora wasn't about to look behind her to see how far the manor was, she unknowingly crossed the ward and kept going. Left to her thoughts she had pulled back up something that Sason had recently showed her. Whatever it was between them, things were getting strange. In all her years, she had never experienced her powers being guided by anything other than her own command.

Hearing Aurora shout that she was fine didn't change much, he knew she was fine and any injuries would heal soon but he still wished he could have stopped them to begin with. But left to stew for a bit he finally calmed down and started to accept things for how they ended up, after all if it wasn't for that he might not have had that dream of the two of them in the library. If he ever wanted a real chance with her he needed to stop beating himself up over things he couldn't change and only needed to worry about getting better to make sure it didn't happen again. That was his new goal and this time he'd make it. Shortly after calming down he felt it, that mind numbing rip he felt when someone crossed the ward without his consent which meant either an unwelcome guest had come in or Aurora had left sins he had yet to add her to the wards white list of approved guests and departures. Guess from her blow up at him he doubted she was running away, running for something so trivial didn't seem like her. So deciding to see if he can make amends for being a colossal idiot, he started to walk in the direction the ward went off. Plus he wanted to make sure she didn't bump into any of the other lords that were with kahl. Like Titan the massive lord of earth, a mountain of a man that had the muscle strength to crush a bus with his bare hands and the weapon skill to slice it into deli meats. Or Mazaran of the water, more self centered than Kahl due to being the youngest to ever become a lord ajd having the intellect of a genius ajd a slight sadistic nature. Or cross the hell raising lord of light that is pretty much an extremely strong priest with a slight like for killing targets. If she ran into any of them and smelled Sason on her, he just hoped he got to her first. Still he broke into a brisk jog hoping to catch up

With so much on her mind Aurora couldnt be bothered to also think about where she was going. Though she did take notice when the very look of the scenery that surrounded her was shifting into something a bit different. Halting any further movement to take stock of where she was Aurora did a full turn to find that the manor wasn't quite in sight any more. With a sigh she thought it would be best to turn around, after all she had walked a nearly straight path so simply going back the way she came should put her in the right place. Not that she was going to go back inside, no she wasn't ready to do that, but getting lost never did anyone any kind of good.
Two steps in and something was around her foot. Having pulled up against it, Aurora quickly realized it wasn't going to be rid of that easily. There around her leg was a vine, seemingly harmless, that is until it moved. With a small gasp as it slithered around her calf, tightening it's hold, Aurora reached down to try to pull it away. There was no budging it, and the foilege across the ground was too thick to know quite where it was coming from. Though one thing was certain, someone was controlling it. Before she could ask such a person to come out of hiding the vine pulled, pulled her right off her feet and upside down hanging from a tree limb. There hadn't even been time to let be known her surprise when the very sight of a monsterous looking man made her keep her tongue.
He was burley, and looked as though he might be made of stone. Aurora was still swinging from side to side when he came to a stop. He didn't even need to ask, she knew from the very look in his eye that he wanted to know why she was there. His hand reached out to touch her, stopping her from swinging, though she doubted it was out of kindness, and more from the goal of getting a better look at her. His grip, whether he meant it to be or not, was fierce, but he pulled away quickly with a snarl of the nostril. When he did finally speak, it came out like a rumble, "You flee from Sason? Or does he send you?"
One hand held up her dress, the other hung around her stomach, "Neither." She answered, which did not seem to please him.
"You lie. I smell him on you."
"It is the truth, you only gave me two options, and neither applied."
He seemed to consider this and a small smile pulled at his lips. His features gave him away to his thinking, though he eventually said, "Interesting girl." Then his attention was drawn pass her, to something Aurora couldn't see or hear. "Say nothing. We'll speak again."
Aurora wondered if she crossed the ward again and it was Sason after her now. With his heightened hearing that must have meant that this man had done something to distort the sounds of their voices. She was lowered back to the ground and pushed upward, the leaves falling out of her hair without any effort on her part. When she turned back around the male was gone, and she was left to wonder if this was all a trick of the alcohol and her tired mind. Either way, it would probably be best to get out of here, so she started to walk back the way she came, still trying to wrap her head around what had just happened.

Shortly after her encounter with the mysterious man, Sason had turned up, his clothes looked wet, like he'd just been sprayed with a hose and he obviously didn't look happy about it. Because of the water his powers were severely weakened but that meant his 'other' side poked through. On his way to catch up with Aurora, he was stopped by one of the last people he ever wanted to see. Mazaran had cut him off, not even bothering to hide himself. The egocentric demon lord had immediately soaked Sason, plotting to weaken his ability to sense the other lords like Titan. "Lets see if you can take us all, demon king" the punk dressed demon said as his navy blue eyes judged the drenched Sason. His black hair shone like it was perpetually wet and his rocker boots had the same effect. He looked like any normal rock obsessed teenager, kinda thin but still toned and dressed in mostly back with a nydra patch on his leather jacket. He always was cocky since he was the youngest one to ever be made into a lord. Before Sason could respond to the obvious threat Mazaran had vanished, leaving Sason in a bigger hurry to find Aurora, worried she'd run into one of the others who wanted Sason dead for leaving them as much as Kahl did

Had the man who could move the earth been another one of Sason's brothers? That was if he had even been there, maybe Aurora had actually tripped and hit her head, making all of this a crazy illusion. After all, who looked like that, he had been tall, and if it weren't for her hanging upside down she wouldn't of even know what his face looked like. His appearance was no doubt often leaving people to believe him to be a little on the slow side. He had that brutish nature that left her wondering such. Yet, there had been plotting going on there, something about the way she was answering his questions.
The only clothing he had been wearing was a pair of pants, his feet bare against the ground. Such a person couldn't possibly have been strictly from her imagination, but then again, why would a person be hanging out just beyond the wards of Sason's manor? With a sigh Aurora nearly threw her hands up in the air before up ahead she saw a figure, this one she recognized. Getting closer she realized that Sason was dripping wet, you would think a fire demon would at least be able to get himself dry. Looking him over Aurora felt a pull toward him, making her plant herself even more to deny such a thing. Though nothing compared to yesterday, Aurora realized that the water wasn't helping much in his case of helping by suppression. "I didn't realize there was a lake nearby." She said, wondering just what had happened that would get him to jump into any body of water.

Sason sighed and flash dried himself once his powers recuperated enough to do so "if only it was a lake, ran into the most egosentric self centered person ever. God Kahl pulled out all the stops, he's bringing the full council out on me" he groaned. The man that attacked her and him we're not his brothers but other demon lords, members of The Council, 7 demons from each of the realms to keep the demon world in order. Sason stopped dealing with the council when human purging came up as ways to satisfy the demons feasting on the souls and flesh of other demons. Sason wanted none of that for two reasons, one was it would flood his underworld with dead human souls trapped in the underworld after being killed by a demon, and two was his general love of humans. After drying himself and reached down and removed a vine that was still wrapped around her ankle "Careful" he says softly not wanting her to trip. His powers were damped to quickly for him to sense Titan was in the area so he had no idea the giant had ran into her. After tossing the vine aside he stood up and tried to fix the wrinkles that were starting to form in his shirt "ahhhh dammit" he groaned giving up on his shirt before looking at her "everything alright? You've walked nearly two miles from the estate, you're not thinking of leaving are you?" He asked with more concern than authority. He didn't think his self loathing would be enough for her to just up and leave without saying anything, so he hoped that wasn't the case

Seemed he could dry himself, that was probably something that came in handy every now and again. Aurora thought that Kahl was supposed to be the self centered one in all of this. And he had been banished, maybe, that was her understanding of it anyway. People just seemed to be coming out of the wood work, or maybe this was close to what it was always like for Sason, which made more sense as to why the other slaves just up and left when given the chance. That and if they had a place to do things would be easier that way. Aurora was still unsure of the reason she had stuck around, but this wasn't the time to think of such things. Sason had been preoccupied at the same time she swore she had seen some one else. Maybe earth man had also been a part of this council. "Council?" She questioned, to see what else he would give her from it. "Shimo too?"
There was seven, which meant Kahl and Sason took up two spots, and then if this person that Sason had just met and the one who found Aurora were on it, that was four. Then Shimo...and maybe the guy who had came with Kahl, that would mean she had nearly met all of these council members. Glancing down she lifted her foot a little as he pulled away a vine that had wrapped itself around her...or perhaps it was still the one that had lifted her right off the ground. It was sounding more plausible that what she had seen was real. Aurora checked herself for any other left over vines but found none, "Two miles...well, that's a bit farther than I thought." In the time she had walked, Aurora found that she had calmed down a bit, though he would be delusional to think that everything was okay. "Why do you ask if everythings alright, if when I say I'm fine, you don't accept the answer?" It was a little exasperating keeping up with him at times.

Sason heard her questioning about the council and scratched his head for a second while he thought of a good explanation "The Council consists of the seven demon lords, each a master of their element, there are no stringer than the lords in each element. The members are me as lord of fire, Shimo is ice, Kahl fills darkness, the archer Malator is the wind lord. And the other four are Mazaran, the water lord, Titan is the Lord of earth and the last is Cross, the light lord. The seven of us try to keep order in each of the realms of the demon world. However I stopped associating with them when they decided a slaughter of humans for their souls would solve the unrest in the demons who have started feasting on other weaker demons. Now the leader, Kahl, deems humans to be a suitable food for the demons. I refused because it would flood my realm with all of the souls unable to pass to cross' realm on their way to heaven. That and I care to much for humans to approve of it, so I left. This lead to shimo leaving as well, no longer amused with the council. Ajd since the council needs approval from all living members to go ahead and act upon Kahls idea they started trying to either bring me back to approve or kill me to remove a vote needed." He explained and sighed in exhaustion from it all. Next was her questioning his caring that she was alright "look I realize I've been over acting about the hole Mal thing, but when I've had others killed in the same fashion, I beat myself up that I couldn't even stop him from hurting you. But I've accepted that it couldn't have gone better ajd I'm over sulking. Now I'm just asking because I care, s**t if you had ran into one of the other lords and they hurt you simply to get to me I'd feel awful, and if you say you're ok then you're ok." He said starting to get irritated that she seemed to be insulting him for caring and worrying when there are definately others that want him dead and would do anything to make it happen. 'Is it so wrong to ask if you're ok?!' He screamed in his head before turning back to the estate "I'm heading back, if you need more time to yourself that's fine, just don't get hurt dammit" he said walking away before HE blew up on someone

As he ran through the list, one of the names stuck with her. Titan. Could he have been the brute of a man whom she had just met? It was very possible that it was so, but what did he think he was going to achieve by speaking with Aurora? She had to wonder just what Kahl was up to. He and Malator had only been after killing her, and yet as she had come out into the woods, the possibility being that both Titan and Mazaran could have crossed her path, meant she could have been easily overpowered, but she wasn't. He spoke of him and Shimo leaving, but Aurora wondered if Cross would also be one to agree with this plot if it meant souls would be unable to move into his realm. It was all rather complicated, though she understood the basics of what he spoke of. Either way, it explained the target on his back.
It seemed he was finally going to let this go, but at the expense of his own anger. Both of them had a large stubborn bone, and it probably wasn't easy for him to concede, but Aurora wasn't the type who needed someone constantly asking her if she was okay. Though she was the kind of person who would probably hide any type of pain for as long as she could, the woman had no death wish, and would ask for help if it was absolutely necessary. Right now, it was not needed.
Besides, it was new for her. Living with him for a week was not going to change a lifetime of independence. There had been so few to show her affection, it was almost always rather that Aurora viewed people as a means to an end. She got something from their relationship, as did the other person. It was a deal. He left her with a request that she not get hurt further, which seemed silly, seeing as she would be unable to control the motives of other people who would be the reason she became hurt in the first place. Keeping quiet she let him walk off, then looked over her shoulder. The leaves on the path picked up in the wind, circling around in a small tornado that sent a small chill down her back. 'I should probably get closer to the wards. At least I know what Sason's intentions are.'

The two lords watched Sason and Aurora walk away from their hiding spit near the woods. A third figure came up behind them and grabbed Mals throat from behind and slammed him against a tree. This man looked like a normal priest, dressed in all black and carrying a book that looked like a bible but was far from it, this book was a conduit for the man's magic. The other thing that made him unlike a priest was his long black hair that rolled down his back in waves. This man was cross, the Lord of light and one of the stronger lords magic wise. "Why didn't you kill him like you were ordered?!" Cross shouted at the choking Mazaran before dropping him to the ground. After coughing for a few seconds Mazaran smirked "cuz I wanted to watch the demon king fight Titan, unstoppable force against immovable object." He said with a grin before cross slammed his black dress shoed foot into the water lords chest "I ordered you to kill him because you were the best match, we need him dead so shimo will vote with us, since none of us can match his will to live ajd blood lust. So next time I order you to kill him, KILL HIM YOU IDIOT!!" He shouted before walking away "keep watching them, especially the girl, Sason must care alot about her to take one of Kahldris' sword strikes to the chest and risk death. Find that weakness and exploit it" Cross said before leaving in a dull flash of light. Sason continued on his way to the estate. He needed to get something from the underworld but needed someone to keep him in check. Being in his realm while trying to maintain a human form is very taxing and it leads to his inner demons to run wild and make him quite the dangerous man and quite forgetful of his humanity. He was thinking of asking Aurora but at the same time he didn't want her to get hurt or influenced by his unhindered demonic energies. In his realm his incubus and fire demon abilities are no longer suppressed by earth's energies and make him a very formidable person when he needs to be and even when he doesn't. The amount of power and influence that are eminated by him in the underworld make his drunk self seem like childsplay and infinitely more so when he is drunk there. Before he went he needed to come up with something that would keep him safe from everyone and her safe from him.

Sason paced in his study trying to figure out ho to take with him to his realm. In his hand he held one of his onyx bracelets, this was different however in that this was also laced with iron to render demonic ajd magical powers non existant. This would also nullify his influence on them. If he were to enter the demon world his demonic influence would be impossible to resist for a normal human. This made it incredibly difficult to decide who to bring, as the only logical choice was either Francis who's had the most exposure, and is still hung over or Aurora who Sason doesn't think likes him at the moment. The frustration of it all and how close the council is getting just for their stupid votes. They have been willing to kill hundreds of his servants and friends simply to get him out to kill him. He needs to get into his castle in the underworld and retrieve the source of his weapon make magic, the pandoras box as well as the codex to be able to master some of the more advanced magics that only can be learned through the codex.
