Oh good. He could be a snarky a*****e and still get kisses. Otto liked this relationship even more now. He relinquished the pillow, padding over to the kitchen to make popcorn. "Yeah, your choice." Otto called back, tossing a back of popcorn into the microwave. Thank Goodness for full hunter rooms and their conveniences. He grabbed two bowls, and filled one of them with Doritos. He also was kind enough to bring out the bottle of Southern comfort and two shot glasses. It was time for Drunk Disney. Or maybe just Tipsy Disney.

He made a small victory punch from where he crouched in front of the movie shelf.
"Let's see," Chance said thoughtfully, running his fingers along the DVDs. A few names popped out at him; they were all interesting, if he was being honest, because of his complete lack of movie knowledge. He grabbed two of them and turned around as Otto came back.
"Okay," said Chance, holding them both up. " 'Lion King' or 'Sleeping Beauty?' "

Otto turned around, glancing at his choices. "Lion King. It's funnier." No hot princess though. Alas. The blond took two trips getting their snacks down on the coffee table, including more cans of pop for having inbetween any shots they may or may not have. "Popcorn, chips, booze n' coke. We're good to go." He took the movie from Chance to pop it into the DVD player.

"Lion King it is!" said Chance, pushing Sleeping Beauty back onto the shelf. He passed over the movie and flopped down onto the couch again with a grin, reaching for both of the shot glasses and the bottle of Southern Comfort.
"An excellent assortment of things," said Chance grandly, and propped his feet up onto the coffee table, working the lid off of the bottle of booze. By the time the movie was in place, he'd poured them both a small helping, Chance taking one of the glasses for himself and extending the other out to Otto.
"To...well, whatever it is that you want to toast to," he said with a laugh.

Otto flopped beside Chance, taking up the shot glass with a thoughtful hum. "To... to working showers." "And not dead thieves."

Chance grinned, clinking his glass against Otto's. "Yes to both of those," he said, and tossed back the shot, wincing only a little as the alcohol burned down his throat. "Jeez, that's good stuff. Okay, so you said this movie was funnier, that means no one's dying right?"
He settled back into the couch, reaching for the bowl of Doritos and the booze again.

Oh.... Oh right... Mufasa.... Otto suppressed every nerve he held within his body not to laugh. This was going to be golden. "Everythin'll be fine." He mumbled after his shot, pretending to cough. "It's a kid's movie, man." Inner Otto, aka Tenya, was laughing her a** off in place of Otto since he couldn't. Yet.

"Good," said Chance decisively, settling back with the chips in his lap and a new glass of booze ready to go when he wanted. He took a handful and chewed slowly, munching as the opening credits began to roll and all of the animals started appearing on screen.
"I always did like animals. Shot every time one of them bursts out into song," he declared with a laugh."

"Dude, for real?" Otto chuckled, twirling his empty glass. "Alright. It's on." Chance did know this was a musical, right? Maybe he forgot Otto was a lightweight. For now, he poured another shot, and got himself a can of coke to drink in the meantime.

Chance had no idea it was a musical, but he was about to be enlightened.
"So, I'm guessing this is about that lion cub," he said around a mouthful of chips, Chance swallowing and squinting at the screen. "He's so tiny and cute, look at him rolling around like that..."
He gave a dramatic sigh. "It's a shame we can't keep lions as pets."

"I'd rather have a dog." Otto murmured back, snacking on popcorn. " Big one. Really drooly and furry." He smiled to himself. "I love big dumb dogs.."

"Dogs are awesome," said Chance, popping another chip in his mouth as he leaned forward to get his own soda. "I always wanted pets, but we never had any. I think I'm more of a cat person, though, mostly because I'm just kind of lazy when it comes to like, having to walk an animal."
The first few notes of a song came flittering over the speakers and Chance grinned, plucking up the bottle of Southern Comfort.
"Shot time," he said with a laugh, holding it out to Otto. "He's totally gonna get together with that lady cub isn't he?"

"Fine deduction, Sherlock." Otto murmured, holding out his shot glass for Chance to pour. "Cheers, n whatever." With a clink of glass, he took a shot. The sweet yet burning taste made Otto shudder. "Jeezus.." He grabbed his cola soon after. "Y'ever thought about getting a pet rock? Ya'int gotta feed them or nuthin'."

"Shaddup," said Chance good naturedly, pouring Otto his next shot. He downed it quickly and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand before turning to give Otto a pointed look.
"Are you, perhaps, being sarcastic?" he asked delicately, eyebrows raised. "I know you're like, always totally not and all."

Otto did not look Chance in the eye. "It's a family movie with good morals and singing animals..." He insisted stubbornly, sipping his cola as a distraction from his growing smile.
