EASTER 2015: EEE EGG EXTRACTION CYOA!

Rock had fallen into a false sense of security while in the candy meadow. It had been an interesting time but he got to see some interesting candies at least. Not to mention he had even found an egg! He was doing pretty darn good at this egg finding!
The next room was almost as sickening as the food they were presented with. Ugh, none of these looked good at all, who came up with these abominations... Well this one had jello, so how bad could that be? Rock tried to plug his nose as he dug into the jello tuna thing.

With the reward of an egg alongside a hoofful of gummy bears Paws was ecstatic. She was pretty sure this might just be the best easter egg hunt ever! This Jump Scare guy was pretty amazing! She must try and get him to join her for some dungeon and dragons or maybe a LARP, he would probably be amazing!

These thoughts buzzing in her head it took her a moment to notice what the next portion of the hunt contained. The mare's face fell as she laid her eyes on the disgusting food creations set out before her.

"Ewwww..." Even the enthusiastic earth mare couldn't see the bright side of this one. These things just looked gross and also... jiggly? Well, that was kind of fun. And look! One of them had confetti in the name! Still, she didn't really want to eat them, but if that's what it took to win, then she had no choice but to dive in!

The flowers hadn't been too bad, and he gotten an egg out of it too! That had actually been nice, if a bit boring compare to the rest. Lettuce followed Jump Scare, honestly not sure if he liked or dislike this egg hunt.

The merphony stared at the dishes before him, not really sure what to do think of them, but by the faces the other phonies were making, these were not good. "Um...." He decided to go with the fish one, that one should be fine, right?

Wow, looks like somephony was pretty phazed after the crate of spiders! Sal unfortunately was too freaked out by both the spiders and uncanny valley room of suits to check in either, and there was an especially weary feeling after those two rooms that kept the usually eager mare from trying out the all too pleasant looking room that seemed like a rather sudden transition to paradise. Yea, she didn't feel up to anymore tricks.

But perhaps she should have given the other room a try, because now that they were on the 'main course' well...let's just say her stomach was going to feel like something awful before she even got to scarf down the chocolate. "Let's...play it safe, Sal..." She mumbled to herself, deciding to plop down in one of the odd chairs before reaching over and grabbing what looked to be the most harmless: a gallon of 7-Up milk.

"Well...here we go..."

Yushika followed after Jump Scare, having just collected an egg. Sure, the room had been an absolute delight, but she sensed it served a greater purpose. Maybe to fill them up to ensure they'd feel sick for the next challenge? Her nose wrinkled as an offensive odor reached her nose, watching Jump Scare open the doors of the next room and entering alongside her companions.

Oh. She was right.

The disgusting food before her left her stomach twisting. For those who gorged on the candy they'd have a hard time finishing even more food. For once, she was glad she didn't eat much candy. She'd have to, somehow, deal with this.

But wait! Wasn't this a scavenger hunt? How was this anything to do with a hunt? Ugh. Might as well.... she had come this far! Swallowing thickly, she glanced over the dishes. Excluding the meat dishes due to her vegetarian nature, her eyes swept over the safe options. The 7-up milk was plausible. She could chug a drink, for sure!

Willow Wisp was, without any doubt, incredibly late to the party. Though this fact had escaped her, or perhaps she just wasn’t bothered by it. The brown mare, never the less, did eventually show up to the egg hunt. Without any care as to having missed the previous rooms, the unicorn was simply happy enough to take in the sights as she walked around. She meandered her way through the building and slowly and surely found herself immersed with the rest of the group. It didn’t bother her at all that she had no eggs, because once she had caught up with the rest of the group she was delighted to see VERY strange desserts the likes she had never seen before. Each dish was more interesting than the last, but the unicorn became fixated with one in particular…

Well...the candy room wasn't so bad. Zen was still expecting something to gnash at their hooves on the way out, and it was that feeling of uncertainty that followed him into the next room.

A room full of ... goodness, what masochistic beast would come up with these things?

The babben looked a touch ill, which could have been from having dessert first. Forever trying to pick the lesser of the evils - he learned his lesson, thank you very much - he went with something he'd enjoy eating if forced, picking the concoction of vegetables and fruit. At least he'd recognize a bite or two. He hoped.

Silver was pretty happy with finding the egg amongst candy she searched in. With not as many as others, she was still happy with the hunt. She wanted one more sweet though, but they were called away before she could try it.

Following behind the rest with slower steps, she almost gagged at the sight of the food in front of her. "We have to..." Her stomach was churning as the words settled in her mind. This was not going to end well for her tummy. Now she really wanted to go back to that last room. With a longing for the sweets, Silver took a better look at the stuff set out for them. The confetti chicken looked like the best choice, just barely.

The little red phony nibbled on the buttercups thoughtfully, thinking of all they had been though already and what more might be in store. This garden was great, but as most things, too good to be true.

Lost in his thoughts, he almost missed the egg. He snagged it in the nick of time and secured it with the other two Before getting corralled to continue. With one last forlorn glance back, he watched jumpscare. Really, how many outfits does he have? He must be worse than the fillies when it came to his closet!

Hearing that they had to eat a whole questionable dish made Spear Mint's stomach churn. Couldn't they see how small he was!? Thankfully he had only nibbled some earlier or he wouldn't have room for this stuff (which would be questionable on a normal day).

Resigned to his fate, the phony walked up to the pineapple- looking thing and hunkered down for the long haul. He ignored the taste and texture... This was now about pride!

E. Snowy Chicken Confetti Salad

Macaron was pleased with his egg find and placed the plastic treasure underneath his hat. He was then rushed into possibly the worst dinner party he had ever seen. The dishes presented were dated; he didn't think any of them were ever made anymore. And on top of that, they were hideous!

He walked the length of the table, muttering criticism about the food, and glaring at the dishes as they were chosen.

Fireflight stared warily at the white parts but tried to convince himself that the peaches and cherries gave it a certain festive look. After a while, he started shoving the bits of meat...veg...loaf...vegetable hi-hat thing into the fluffy whipped potatoes and the tomato cups in hopes of shovelling it faster in a myraid of terrible tastes.

The bearies went some way towards restoring her morale, and Diamond was almost completely cheered by the discovery of the egg...then the next room plummeted her spirits again. What was the point?! Unable to drag herself any further than the first dish, she resigned herself to Ring-Around-the-Torture.

The wonderful room of candy was gone too soon, Lav thought. And she thought it even harder when she saw the next challenge. She actually had to eat one of the monstrosities presented! She scanned them all, losing more and more faith in human's ability to make edible dishes. The culinary ability passed on by her family made her stomach churn... and at last she settled on choosing the milk with, uh, a soft drink poured in.

Lav was a drink-maker too, and she'd tried some unusual things before! Maybe it wasn't so bad after all...
