Flamonk will have to meet her maker in revenge soon >> For now, Aludra gets a break ;-;
Flamonk's Final Attack: 2
Flamonk was surprised when the little thing fell on top of her, letting out a squeak of protest and scrabbling to get out of the way. She was in a lot of pain from her missing eye, but at least her anger was subsiding about it.
She could see that she was winning. Well. She could half see it.
But using her fire power twice so soon had left her without her energy. Though she was the victor here, she knew she could not continue to fight in the same manner she had been. She was exhausted, and in pain. It comforted her to know that Aludra was hurting worse.
Leaving the burned senshi, assuming it was dead and useless, Flamonk turned to go and find another option to restore her strength.

Audritoo's Second Attack: 8
Audritoo was not amused by human opponents, either. He thought himself much too cool for battles like this, and hardly enjoyed having to work for its meals.
Really, it was best for him when they just walked into his mouth and he could digest them directly, without having to put in the effort. If someone were to exist just to bring him food, in fact, he would be perfectly happy.
That would be the life...
At first, the plant youma was worried about the sword that the knight pulled, as sharp objects were dangerous to plants of all kinds, but that one did not actually look all that scary.
In fact, it did not look all that sharp, either.
Keeping his distance, Audritoo lashed out with another vine whipping, as that seemed to be pretty effective against this one. It tried to wrap its vine around Vesuvius, to pull him toward the fly trap on his 'chest'.

Unless you're Godzilla. Or a fire type.
Mothro's Fourth Attack: 6
Freak of nature?
If Mothro could still understand human language, she would be offended. Her brain, however, was not exactly big enough for things like that, and her mind, twisted as it was under the complete control of chaos, left her without the mental capacity required for things like that. Plus, she had plenty of other things to focus on.
Like being countered.
Tackling was not the best tactic for her, all the time. Once she was in close to someone or something, it left her vulnerable. Her massive wings were delicate, and if they were attacked while she was struggling to get away from her opponent, then she would be in big trouble.
Fluttering angrily, she did her best to pull back but had no real speed to her at this point. It left her open to an attack, her large, awkwardly shaped body not pulling away as easily as she would want it to.

Geargo Attacks with a 8! (Round 2)
Get out of his way? How rude! Geargo was clearly a very worthy opponent and this guy was not really getting that, was he? Treating him like an inconvenience!
Geargo could hardly suffer the rudeness. But because he did not really have a mouth, his frustration could only be vented in a series of varying clicks and clanks.
Glitnir's attack connected with a metallic, hollow sounding clang, but the youma did feel pain. Even if it could lose limbs and be fine, as long as the gear on its back was not hurt, it still did not like to be attacked. It felt pain, like anything else.
Clanging in anger, it lifted what passed for hands, two slowly spinning gears on the end of each metal arm, and aimed them at Glitnir. It's special ability was the manipulation of sound, the metallic ringing echoing from its amplification and getting launched at Glitnir like a wave, almost with a force of its own, though it would not cause physical damage to anything but ears.

Umber wasted little time jumping into the fray, and it left the general grinning after him, one small hand lifting to lay fingers in a light curl against the edge of her jaw as she watched him. In all honesty she hadn't been sure he would without a nudge in that direction, but he seemed to have to placed narrowed focus onto a pretty little target with her back turned. A good choice, they'd be equally matched, at least in power.
At this point the general would normally have charged into battle herself, eagerly seeking out some unfortunate victim to toy with, like a cat cornering a helpless mouse. biting and pawing, slowly crippling all attempts of escape before delivering a final blow. The idea lingered sweetly in her head like a siren's call, but she remained in the tree she had arrived in, sinking down to crouch among the branches as she kept keen eyes on the lieutenant she'd released here. He was, she felt, her responsibility as the one that had pulled him into this life, and she took that very seriously.
Even beyond duty, he was her's. A rare find beyond the limits of the city.
Smile widening in the growing darkness, silver eyes were trained the lieutenant and his opponent as the latter hit the ground with the force of that first attack. She was a quick thing, Xenotime would give her that. Rolling up to her feet quick than expected, she called her magic, unique that it was, to mount a counter strike. Bricks, by the looks of them, aimed directly for Umber's face.

This was just getting worse and worse. Vesuvius had only managed to get himself off the ground when another set of vines came lashing toward him. His sword was a joke. He was pretty sure it would always be a joke. He wasn't sure why the powers that be had such a crappy sense of humor but it was really frustrating sometimes. If he had a real blade he could cut through this youma without much trouble. Wasn't that what he was supposed to be doing? Making the world a better place? Helping people?
Sigh...
The vine wrapped around him and he let it, gripping the vegetation in a clump while it was anchored around his body. He tugged on the whole mass, tugging on it like he was going for the tug of war championship. If he could rip it right out of that body he would, lowering the risk to himself.
Chrysotile nearly tripped over the senshi as she rolled at him, whirling his arms to keep his balance. Recovering, he glared at her. "I should leave you for Painite to finish off," he growled. She'd made him a little angry with the "jerk" remark. He wasn't a jerk -- he generally didn't make a practice of hitting girls. But this was no ordinary girl. She was the enemy. That meant all courtesies were abandoned. No holds barred.
He circled her, keeping just out of reach, swinging his afghan. "No, I think I'll have a little more fun with you." There was no humor in his words. Dancing in, he took aim at her with one of his booted feet.

No worries! RL always comes first ^_^
Oh dear, Chrysotile's roll was an 8... Sorry! Big jerk. XD At least it's his next to last attack?

Thank you for the magic info! Umber's second roll is 5.
The quick recovery was unexpected - and he wondered, was she accustomed to this kind of assault? - but before he rose to his feet, she already called foreign words that found no initial recognition with the lieutenant. Initially he hesitated in case his brain finally registered her speech as something apart from building blocks, but the meaning soon grew clear when two bricks appeared in both palms. What is she even -
But the thought found no finish when one of the bricks struck him squarely in the nose, urging a recoil while his nose swelled and bled.
The second brick struck his cheek with the force of a punch, forcing the lieutenant to stagger back further. At this distance, he wagered that he stood at disadvantage - if she were able to call up that magic multiple times, he would lose with certainty. Instead, Umber charged toward her once more and aimed for the gut with a quick punch - lacking power, but well-versed in accuracy.

Aludra rolled off Flamonk to the ground, hitting it with a whine. She didn’t move again until the youma had, blessedly, wandered off. Then she was crying openly, unaware of the other battles playing out around her, only knowing that she’d failed and everything hurt so very much.
It took every ounce of energy left in her small body just to crawl to the base of a tree. There she found a hollow to curl up in with her hands cradled against her chest and drifted in and out of consciousness.

That was fun. ;D Thanks!

Off-balance as he was there was no way that Falias was able to avoid the gust that the flapping bird-thing sent his way.
Although he did made a herculean effort to try to keep his feet.
It was no use however and despite his desperate flailing he tumbled over, the awaiting ground meeting his butt hard. He was just lucky that given that he was falling from standing - well okay more like flail-standing that he didn't have quite so far to fall. It still hurt though and he was still unhappy as he stared at the over-sized wannabe bird with narrowed eyes.
It had just upgraded itself to major annoyance.
There was a rock nearby and picking it up Falias pulled himself back to his feet before lobbing it in the direction of the hovering youma.
It wasn't his best throw, but Falias didn't care - there was more where that came from and he was going to make sure that the over-sized bird youma went down.
Palatine snorted. The youma might have looked cute if it wasn't... well... a youma. As it was, she thought it seemed a bit outmatched, puffing up as if it was trying to appear larger than it was. She'd certainly been against more threatening beasts. This one, try as it might to appear so, was far from frightening.
So lost to her sudden bout of over-confidence was she that Palatine reacted a little late to the youma's charge. She did not quite manage to get out of the way in time, with the result that the fox youma clipped her leg. She made use of her feet again, kicking the youma in the direction of a large tree trunk in the hopes that it would soon burst into dust.
The page's foot connected with Aquamarine's right knee. If one were to listen carefully through the sounds of battle, one might have heard the crack that sounded as a result.
Aquamarine certainly felt it, dropping to his knees onto the ground with a spirited curse as hot pain radiated out from his knee and through his leg. He glared up at the page, gnashing his teeth together as his expression turned dark and murderous. With a yell, Aquamarine threw his toy sword at the page as violently as he could.
Harmonia was doing her damn best to try and get herself up enough that the weight of her body wasn't pulling down on the snare. While the Nega boasted and threw threats at her, she managed she ease herself up into a half squat half standing position. It was enough. She pulled downward on the loop of the snare by her heel and just managed to squeeze it past her heel as she lost her balance and fell backwards.
Her sense of relief was cut short though by an aggressive boot shot in her direction. She did her best to try and move out of the way but still managed to get a rather nasty shot to her side. Another coughing spurt occurred from the attack and she flailed an arm in the Nega's general direction.
tatterpixie
HAHA! Well...it could be worse and be another ten. wink
I had to get her out of that snare. Just assume her escaping happened pretty damn fast. lol
Harmonia's attack is a pitiful 1. XD

Final Round: Kadyrelite (cool vs Pompeii (3)
darling we will have to do later rp where they meet again since pompeii really cant stand loosing and MUST return the favor XD
Pompeii swore she heard her ribs groan and crack as the nega dealt a solid blow to her side. The squire had been beaten, scratched, clawed, bitten slightly, even had a spear wound... never had she broken a bone and knew that even if she hadn't her whole front would be tender for the foreseeable future. Shang would kill her and Maia afterwords since she got herself into this jam herself. She was trying so hard to breath without passing out all she could hope for is the nega would just go away when whoever was looking out for her listened.
The girl seemed to be ranting at someone, not that Pompeii saw anyone since she was huddled on the ground, but it gave her a chance to gather her wits. With cracked ribs she couldn't continue any further without real risk to herself, broken bones can be dealt with but punctured organs not so much. With mental control she summoned her weapon and kept it shielded by her huddled form. Surprise was the only way she could get out of this without major damage.
She covertly glanced up and saw the nega close her eyes, now was the perfect time. With a lurch and a searing pain Pompeii gained her feet and lashed her shawl out. The main part of it she hoped to land solidly on her form while the end remained in her fingers keeping the magic flowing, she would only have a few seconds of protection but it would give her the leeway to head out.
Quote:
Squire - A light/ash gray simple shawl - slight power ~ When she concentrates and throws the shawl at someone, and it comes in contact with them, the shawl wraps around the body part it touches and binds it to the nearest item. For instance if it catches a leg it will likely bind the leg to the other leg, an arm to the body, or to a object near by such as a light pole or another person, but leaving the rest of the body free. The shawl becomes nearly impossible to remove while the shawl is in use but this only lasts for a total of 30 seconds and leaves no lasting affects regardless of what it binds/catches. After the full time has been used the shawl becomes inert and nothing more then a mundane yarn distraction. She MUST be in contact of the shawl in some way in order for it to work which will likely place her within striking distance of her opponent. General Shawl Size and Image - A right isosceles triangle with the base/top being finger tip to finger tip wide. Like this but not beaded and maybe a simpler pattern like this.

Round 4 is: Leucite 2 v Havasu 8
oh pleassssse let them fight again XD
Havasu couldn't get the cadet's fingers out of his vest and knew he was up to something, why else fist your hand into someone's shirt front. "Come on man this was hand made!" he quipped trying to get some amusement out of the negaverser. Not that he actually knew who had made the clothes, or the outfit at all, and why is his weapon a piece of string, and why is his name Havasu Falls... Come on now why couldn't his name be like someplace bad a** like..... Even in his own mental soliloquy Havasu was at a loss. He never really thought about where all this came from, he just jumped in once it became painfully obvious that his awakening was real.
His distracted thoughts were quite clear and without really seeing the malice behind the intent staring contest Havasu asked, "Do I have something in my teeth or something? Come on man, I don't swing that way." He was going to say more but then the cadet finished his move and tried to sweep his legs out from under Havasu. The cowboy nearly laughed since this was something he had been working on ever since he saw it in a movie. He let the move work and he fell on his back with a grunt with much more force and distance such a move should have done.
He had a fraction of a second to grab the guy's wrist and drag his a** down and forward with him. A straight arm to the chest, the movie showed using the feet but he wasn't going to risk a nut shot again, should flip the guy off him using both of their momentum over his head.... should. It was all a series of should ofs and could ofs and physics and math. There were too many variables to guarantee anything but maybe he would get lucky. Then again maybe he would get a knee to the face.
