Dameon frowned as Lucian evaded his attack completely and watched as Ten came flying at him. He had two options open to him in that split second as they neared. He could let his attacks follow through and hope that Ten had the reflexes to dodge or he could mimic Lucian.
"Coward!" he snarled as he burst into mist and flew past Ten and rematerialized behind her. "You always did avoid fighting me." He said quietly as his body shifted unnaturally briefly from transforming into his mist form so suddenly.
"I never did believe in your peaceful world bullshit. It was nice to spout out though. It helped justify the violence we wrought. Yet you still believe you have not betrayed your kingdom. You left them to die at the hands of the Medium. Knowing you, you would not let such a thing happen unless you ordered it. You can't trust what you can't control. It's why you never trusted me." Dameon grinned as he rubbed his neck where a small trickle of blood beaded down his neck where Ten's blade had nicked.
"Ten, I recommend you head you son's words because I won't save you and if you get in my way I will cut you down myself. You're just a hindrance in this fight. As for you Lucian, why don't you come out and fight me instead of hiding like a coward, hmm? I want to go all out. Make me go all out! Make me show my full power, my true form. Make me shed this human skin!"

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucian's mist collected and reformed just in front of the Zaibatsu throne. Lucian was smiling when his solid body became clear again. He was enjoying this. "You have learned nothing. You fight like a brute, head on and it will be your downfall. You hold back when you should begin at your best, holding back will only make you tired." Lucian scolded Daemon from a place of power. Lucian was never holding back. Sure there were moves he did not use because they were unneeded but he never held back when he used them. Turning into mist was not him running away, it was him using a tactical advantage. Lucian began walking toward Dameon and he spoke as he did saying,
"I did not betray them, nor did I lie. I promised a world with peace, whatever rubble remains of this land when I am done will be very peaceful. I trained them all to fight, if they are not smart enough to run from the Medium it is their fault. Just as it will be your son's when he is too dumb to run from my blade."

Dameon grinned as he chuckled, "You talk like your going to leave here and have a chance to fight him." the cursed man stood straight as his features grew serious and if one looked closely they could see his body straining.
"You make a good point. Normally I prefer to enjoy my battles but against you I really can't afford to hold back now can I? So If you'll excuse me I think it's time I revealed my true form." His voice grew hoarse and gravely as he spoke, his skin seemingly ripping apart as his body began to convulse and shift leaving an excess of residual black magic mist surrounding his body concealing him from view and the only thing indicating that Dameon was still there was a painful groan or grunt but eventually it went quiet until a voice spoke that was far different than Dameon's original.
"Tell me Lucian, have you ever fought the devil and lived to tell the tale? I have. So why don't we see where you stand in the grand scheme of things." The voice echoed slightly as a new figure emerged from the rolling black mist. Gone was the flesh and bone replaced with ethereal blue energy, Dameon's scythes replaced with a but a lone broadsword, his face masked by a cloud of perpetual black mist rolling off of it with only a crown, piercing blue eyes and a skeletal visage visible through it.

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucian stopped walking towards Dameon as the man began to transform and he raised his arms out to his side. "I suppose this is where I am to be impressed or afraid? Dameon my plans account for everything you can do. As I told you years ago there is one reason I allowed you to join my army. Alone you can be broken, but with your allies you are strong. Look around Dameon, you are alone." Lucian's right hand began to glow a bluish shade while his left began to glow green. The glowing quickly faded and Lucian looked up towards the ceiling. It was coming now. An end to it all, the time was drawing near when the world orb would be complete. Soon, enough power would be brought to bear to destroy the universe. Lucian looked back at Dameon with his arms spread wide.
"I have fought the devil, I have fought death, I have fought false gods. Dameon, only in death can the truth about life be made clear. Come, let me enlighten you." With that said Lucian slammed his hands together releasing a shock wave of red energy that tore through the air heading towards Dameon. Lucian doubted it would have much of an effect but it would be enough to entice a response from Dameon and that was all Lucian needed for what came next. Dameon had made a mistake by transforming into a beast made almost entirely of ethereal energy, when facing a man who could drain all the energy in a room within seconds.

"You think that troublesome ability of yours will affect me don't you? That draining my magical energy away will render me inert? You would be wrong. What you see is not magic nor any type of energy you can control, what you see before you is my soul." Dameon said as he watched Lucian's attack race towards him. The attack seemingly hit him only to reveal that Dameon was no longer there but instead Behind his former king with his sword poised to pierce Lucian's neck. The immortal paid no head to the man's rhetoric and knew that one strike would not kill Lucian but the same could be said for Dameon. His form was as he said, his soul laid bare. The combination of millennia residing in purgatory and being cursed to live for all eternity. It was a blessing and a curse, for the damage he would take would be meaningless as he would be forced to return to purgatory after this fight regardless of the outcome for several hundred years until his human body could be reformed so it meant Dameon could go wild and fight to his hearts desire and so he would.

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucian smiled slightly when he heard Dameon's voice. His smile was not a smile of joy or amusement. He wore the smile of a man who had just solved a problem that had been plaguing his mind for a long time. Lucian wore the smile of the man who had found an answer to an age old question. But what was the question? Lucian spun to the right as his arms turned into metal and he smacked the sword away from his neck. "Everything has power in it, and I can take that. A soul is nothing more than a cell you have yet to find the keys to." With those words two swords appeared in Lucian's hands, one for each hand. When the swords appeared runes began traveling up Lucian's metal arms. They were most likely runes pertaining to souls. However they also could have been runes created specifically to harm souls. Dameon would not know until he was hit by a punch, but it was clear that he should not allow that to happen. In all reality Lucian's right arm had the runes intended to cause physical pain to the soul and his left arm had the runes that would bind a soul to a place, in this case a realm far away. Lucian knew that arm would do the most damage. Nature forced Dameon to return to purgatory to heal but if Dameon was forced into another place by runes, nature would not be kind. The chances of remaining in one piece and nature fought Lucian's seals were unkind. Put simply, Dameon could survive a hit from the sword in Lucian's right hand, but he may not be able to survive one from the left. With the plan in his mind Lucian swung at Dameon's sword with his left sword in an attempt to hook the blade and pull it downwards so Dameon could not block Lucian's incoming slash with his right sword.

Dameon was on guard the second he saws the runes on Lucian's swords and quickly retreated, avoiding the attack just barely. "You always did have an answer for everything."
It would be tough from here on out for Dameon as he would have to fight Lucian without taking any damage. something he knew was borderline impossible. After all he had only a split second to see the runes on the mad kings weapons and arms but it hadn't been enough to discern which was more dangerous and while the danger of fighting Lucian was ever growing, Dameon could not help but laugh excitedly. "You certainly know how to keep a fight interesting though. Too bad you rely upon your power of negation. Too afraid to fight someone of comparable power. Afraid that you might be bested in combat."
He stomped his foot against the floor causing a chunk of rubble to fly up which he struck with his sword making it fly at the the older immortal. Using the distraction, Dameon followed closely after the large debris preparing to attack when Lucian attempted to do something about the rubble. Had he been facing any other opponent Dameon might have placed a Curse of Sickness upon the rock for added measure but he knew Lucian would simply drain the magic from the rune before it could take effect. But it mattered little as Dameon knew he didn't have to actually defeat the mad king, he just needed to stall long enough for Eleven to do whatever it was he planned to do.

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It was you who gave away the weakness. By clarifying what the mist was you made it easy to counter." Lucian explained as he twirled the sword in his right hand slightly. Lucian wasn't blocking any powers yet but that did beg the question, why wasn't he? The answer was simple, without anyone having access to their powers Lucian would eventually run out of energy. But if everyone maintained their gifts, Lucian would be able to continue draining strength from his foes. "Power is the tool of a man with no skill. Me taking it from you would be a gift to you." With that said Lucian responded to the flying debris. First Lucian charged directly at the debris, he could see Dameon charging in behind it. However when the rubble drew close to Lucian it was all flung aside as if it had been swept away by a broom. Then Lucian slid underneath Dameon sweeping his right and left swords at Dameon's legs as he past.
Whatever Eleven's plan was, was unclear. The numbered boy was standing in the corner holding his father's ring instead of wearing it. He was rebuilding his strength. Eleven looked to be mumbling but it became clear what he was doing, he was counting. But what was he counting?

If he could, Dameon would be smirking as he flipped over Lucian's attack swiping his sword at him and landed in a crouching position where Lucian had been standing prior. "You think stating the weakness of this form matters to me? What you do to me is inconsequential. You could tear me apart and I will still come back. You could seal me away as many have done before and I will still come back. You could sever my soul into pieces and seal them away into different realms and even still I would return." Of course Dameon did not know that Lucian's left weapon could very well tear him apart if he let himself be cut by it. The countless years of being able to come from almost everything had truly gotten to his head that no matter what he could come back from it. But he knew now at least that the only thing he had to truly be wary about was Lucian's left sword and arm now as he had been slightly nicked by Lucian's right causing him incredible pain in his left leg. Needles to say Dameon did not want to be hit with the left should it be even more dangerous than the right which had only nicked him and yet had caused him such pain which he was able to mask due to his lack of facial features.
Dameon stood as he reached into his hollow armored chest and pulled out two daggers one that appeared to be of standard make and one that looked to be frail and brittle and would shatter with the slightest impact but that didn't stop Dameon from throwing it at Lucian. flaking slightly as it was thrown, followed up by the second a few seconds after. The frail dagger was far more dangerous than it appeared as it was indeed frail and brittle but that was where the genius of the weapon set in. The weapon was by made to be broken and once broken the metals that made it up would bust into poison dust that would, once inhaled, would impeded the opponents breathing and slowly eat away at their lungs by cutting it up with each breath they took. The best part was that there was no magic involved making it an ideal weapon to use against Lucian, if the man chose to deflect the blade. Even if he didn't touch the blade, the second dagger Dameon threw would break the first once it was near Lucian due to it being thrown hard enough to ensure the daggers destruction. It would not kill Lucian, but it would hinder him, either being a mild annoyance if he were to inhale even a a bit of the dust, or a pain inducing distraction that could be down right debilitating.

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Arrogance will be your downfall." Lucian mumbled as he charged forward at Dameon. He moved his head slightly to the left to avoid the first dagger, sending it far past his head only to see Dameon flanking with the second dagger. Lucian could have turned into mist and he should have but he was too confident in his abilities. Lucian kicked Dameon's arms aside but when he did he stumbled back slightly into the cloud of poisonous dust that the shattered dagger had created. The effect was immediate. The king began coughing and gagging as he stumbled backwards blindly thinking of a way out. Dameon had a slight window but the odds were that Lucian would find a way to neutralize the poison soon.

Dameon snarled as his arms were knocked aside but used it to his advantage as he immediately brought both arms to grab his sword and cut down at Lucian's left arm full force, confident his raw strength would be enough to sever the metal limb while Lucian was disabled and distracted with the poison metal dust. He was also confident that his sword would be able to withstand the full might of the swing and sever Lucian's arm clean off where, if he was successful, he would shoulder bash the mad king away and attempt to try to use Lucian's sword against him. But if his strike failed he just bash his sharp shoulders into Lucian and knock him away.

“Your son wants you to leave—“ Nora tried to convince the numbered one, who pulled away from the human’s grasp, and pushed her slightly. “this is why he resents you—because you dont listen—“ Nora grabbed Ten in the midst of battle in hopes she would follow, but leaving Eleven seemed hopeless, and as selfish as Ten was, she would rather die than leave what she had left. As the two mingled in disagreement , they had failed to see the arrows of Dameon, at least, Ten had lost her focus, and as lucian tiled his head to the side, a priced of the shattered dagger Dameon had thrown, pierced through the flesh of the numbered female.
Nora took a few steps back from Ten as she bled from her chest, but stood unfazed for now. Ten attempted to heal herself closed, it seemed as if it wasn’t working, like it was an ability that came to a halt, but Lucian didn’t turn off their abilities, so what was stopping her from fixing her own self? What was preventing her from breathing?

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucian was indeed stunned up to the very moment that Dameon's sword touched his metal arm. However the moment Dameon's sword touched the arm, the color of the metal shifted and Dameon's sword bounced off. Lucian could mimic whatever he touched. When Dameon's blade touched Lucian his arms shifted to mimic the stronger metal and that shift had created enough energy to bounce Dameon's strike away. Lucian wasted little time in response. He spun towards Dameon rapidly, still blinded by the poison and coughing slightly but his body was adjusting to it. As he spun Lucian swung his right sword at Dameon's stomach and his left at Dameon's legs.
Eleven noticed his mother bleeding across the room and immediately lost all record of his counting before appearing at her side. "What happened?"

The moment Dameon saw his sword bounce off of Lucian's arm he rammed his shoulder, menacing spikes and all, full force into Lucian's gut to knock him away before Dameon himself jumped away but not before the right sword nicked his stomach. The pain was once again intense but Dameon in all of his countless years had felt pain even greater allowing him to once again bear the pain of the mad kings sword. Though Dameon knew that had Lucian not been suffering from his poison that he would have undoubtedly been hit by his left blade. It had been luck and Lucian's suffering that had allowed him to avoid it. But Dameon tightened his grip on his sword and raised it to the ready and noticed a hair line crack from where his sword had struck Lucian's arm which would have caused Dameon to smirk had his face not been a shrouded skull. This fight was getting more and more intense as time went by and the danger along with it and Dameon was enjoying every moment of it.
Without warning however Dameon turned into mist and flew right at his former king where he would attempt to fly into Lucian and reform while inside of him tearing him apart from the inside.

Lucian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucian sidestepped Dameon's attempt to ram into him and stumbled away after he felt his strike connect with Dameon's stomach. Twice. He had hit Dameon twice with the right sword. He knew Dameon would feel it, even if the man did not show it. By now Lucian's organs had solidified against the foreign poison and he was no longer hindered by it. That was why he was able to react to Dameon's attack. When Dameon's body converted into the mist like form Lucian opened his mouth and let loose a massive ball of fire. the fire was only a diversion though. If it hit the mist, the fire would scatter or vaporize it all but that did not matter. Using the time the fire would allow Lucian's body began to vibrate so rapidly that the poisonous gas in his lungs phased out of his body and back into the air.
