Xenia watched carefully as the male’s eyes seemed to narrow a bit as she addressed him, though she would admit she wasn’t being the most pleasant, she wasn’t happy and didn’t care to hide such. Though in any case she was still a proud Kitsune, whether she served a master as a familiar or not, and as such often put on various masks to suit how she desired to appear Infront of others. She listened carefully as the male attempted to explain himself, saying it was only the shop he would escape from. She could understand that thinking but such didn’t show in her expression as she shook her head. “Not everyone looks for those of younger years. Their appeal has run out to me many ages ago, and their naïve ways are tiresome, as is the need to train them properly. A more mature pet who already knows their place and doesn’t need much training to obey is much more appealing to those who have lived long enough to tire of the annoyance of constantly correcting a new pet.” She replied.


Xenia lifted an eye brow when the male said he couldn’t claim any magic, though she quickly found his collar to be the problem as she quickly did another feel. She knew she hadn’t been mistaken as she’d felt his ability the moment, he took notice of her partner’s ability. But is would seem that collar of his blocked his and the rest she could figure. Though she smiled finding the knowledge to be interesting indeed she blinked as he began to walk away toward the opened cage. “Where do you think you’re going?” She asked, though her words were drowned out by the slavers as they grabbed him and slammed him to the ground.


That angered the kitsune enough that she quickly closed the gap between the slavers and herself, forcing them back if for no other reason that the speed she moved. Though she also removed her mask revealing an angry snarl, her ears were laid back in anger as she released her spell revealing herself to be older than she initially appeared though it was for no longer than a second. “Get your filthy foot off my slave!” She growled her voice deep in warning. Though she and the male behind her both knew doing anything much more was not something Xenia would waste her energy on for such a small thing, the threat was there, and for such opponent that was all she needed as she refused to back off and though the male wasn’t so reactive the fact he made no move to stop her despite their contract being clear as day, her ‘glimmer’ ability making it more so on them both as if it wasn’t slowly dissolving, showing he backed her still.

Xenia relaxed again as the guard backed off giving the male enough space to stand up again, though as his shirt rode up she took note of the poor shape he was in and frowned slightly as she replaced her mask back over her nose and mouth the foul scent of the building annoying her sensitive nose more than she cared. Her ears twitched at the surprised hint in the male’s voice as he asked about her buying him and gave a small nod. “I believe that’s what I said, don’t make be regret it.” She replied her voice stern but not mean, simply no nonsense though she gave a pleased nod when he said he wouldn’t make her regret choosing him.


Xenia stared at the guard as he was more than eager to rid himself of the male that he gave him away for free. “A pleasure doing business with you, sir. Now leave us, I will take care of the paperwork on the way out with the other person here.” She said her voice a light growl she didn’t want to deal with these men any longer. After she sent the guard away Xenia turned to look back at her slave, or pet, or whatever they were called any more, just Intime to see him start to stumble before catching himself only to pass out a moment later. She frowned and walked the few steps to him and checked he was alright before looking up at her master who also was approaching. “You’re more skilled in healing spells than I, can you help him?” She asked her voice hardly beyond a whisper but gentler than she’d used before. The mage nodded before casting a temporary spell to keep Yusef stabilized before picking him up to carry to the car. Xenia hung back just long enough to sign any necessary paperwork and bought a new collar for the male, one that would suit her desires much better than his current one could.


Once everything was set she joined the other two in the car and the mage drove them to her cottage.
