We recently received a pm saying we received too much platinum but it doesn't make sense for everyone. "Your account balance had been adjusted Due to a recent erorr in the Valentine's Day event, 285000 platinum had been granted to your account. Thank you for your patience." Good afternoon Lanzer! I have been earning platinum through my art shop, through the market, through games, through posting, and selling my Gcash items. I had 60-80k plat after the event and had earned up to 287,000 plat by yesterday (3/26/19). Whatever happened, I am really frustrated and upset. I just wasted a lot of real money that was essentially taken away from me. The platinum I had after the event was not 285,000 and to me it feels that a VERY big error has been made. After the event, I was granted exactly 1,000 platinum for being on team Fondue. I remember this very clearly. I was not granted any amount above 1k. Some users claim they were granted trillions and trillions of gold. I was NOT one of those people that ended up with a huge amount. Therefore, Gaia has wrongfully taken away platinum from my account that was not received as an error, which includes platinum I made from spending real money. It seems that some users received a huge inflated amount while others did not. There are also some team Fondue members who didn't have the inflated gold amount taken away as well. I heard some were told to just keep the extra amount. There was a brief moment after the event where my platinum balance magically went up some ridiculous number (it happened to several users but I'm not sure if it was the entire site) and I remember it was adjusted within a matter of a few hours. I vaguely remembering thinking that I had seen an announcement about it too. THAT amount was already previously taken back away though. I feel whatever is happening right now is really unfair. Any amount that was deducted should only have happened after the system had granted an amount higher than that in the history data. If you believe that a mistake had been made I will double check and fix any errors. Lanzer Shallotte Misc.Can you please fix the Mothership fourm and make it accessible? There are some very important user guides/archives on the event in there; and It's just not user accessible. I don't think that was an intentional thing. The Event foums are supposed to be archived, all the other event forums were moved to memorable threads, so people could read through them. Will do!

April 9th, 2019: [NPC] Gaia Staff Welcome Back! Quote: Events: Valentine's Day Event Excess Platinum/Gold Grant BugTeam Fondue again here. I'm wondering if there are any new updates/information regarding the status of this issue? It's been five weeks now, and many of us still have the excess plat/gold that was granted on our accounts. I know it was said that another fix would go out to tackle this issue, and remove the excess plat/gold. But, I'm not sure what's going on, as there are users, myself included who still remain affected by this bug, and haven't had the platinum/gold removed yet. We've been bringing it up constantly for weeks now, both in ATS and the Bug Forum. Will there be a solution to this? Personally, I have not bought or sold anything since this bug began. We ran another round of the recovery script. If your account was not affected, please PM Lanzer with your issue and we will have it fixed ASAP. it amy Loraelei EventsI miss having events around the site that I could chat with other users about. Forum-based events are really great fun because I feel like it brings a lot of the community together that either doesn't normally interact or just wants to enjoy the events. Are there any plans for some of these in the near future? Aside from that, thank you for taking the time to try and bring the community back to this site! It seems like a lot of work, but it's really appreciated. I really enjoy being here and I can't wait to see what you all will do next. Yes! April 16th, 2019: Lanzer I3efore I3irthday EventsHappy upcoming Easter to all the staff! Few days ago I have received a message concerning the Valentine's event. And the matter of the issue is that too much has been subtracted (124,000 Platinum in my case), I along with many have posted in the provided thread, but are left with no information whatsoever. Thus, I would like to inquire as to the reason of this happening, as well as to whether or not this money will be reimbursed to me and many others in this situation, if you have any idea, could you also give me an estimation of when this should be resolved? My message posted in the Valentine's Day resolution thread here. Yes we will be collecting your feedback and make changes accordingly. June 10th, 2019: Lanzer AngryAshleyBear EventsI am still missing 4 tril gold from the mishap with the Valentine's Event, just wondering when there will be any kind of update to how you're fixing this, or when I can expect to get my gold back. I know I'm not the only one who is still missing gold, that was not granted to us, but wrongfully deducted from us. I'll look into the issue again and see what I might have missed. Sorry I thought the last update had everyone's gold issue addressed.

The event is going on until September 2nd, and there's still more to be discovered. Once the other phases are released, it won't make the past phases disappear, so there will still be opportunities to participate in this first phase etc. Lanzer We should have made it clear that phase 2 and 3 are released on week 2 and week 3 of the event, so the current bugs should have no effect on the speed of completion. The new summer event seems super fun. However, no one is able to go past Phase 1 even if we have our checklists completed – the ‘Claim Rewards’ button simply doesn’t work. I created a topic about it yesterday and a lot of users reported the same issue. So basically, we’re stuck on Phase 1. Are you aware of the issue? Screenshot of what the users see:  2. Additionally, the two last achievements for defeating the boss display as claimable, but when users click on them, they are met with the following message: An error occurred while loading achvs3. Moreover, a lot of users reported an issue related to the achievement for visiting Lake Kindred through the Go Gaia App, basically the site doesn't recognize that users visit LK through the app, therefore they cannot claim their achievement for that. 4. Also, the egg drops % seem to be abysmal, a lot of people report fighting the event kins for hours on end and they haven’t got a single egg drop yet (I’m one of them). Is the drop rate as intended? Is there any chance the drop rates could be raised? I hope you'll be able to resolve the issue soon so we can all enjoy the event to the fullest, I know you're working hard on it! The three bugs mentioned should be fixed later today. We made some changes and it broke a couple of things, sorry. Phase 2 will open up next Monday, btw. We will add a note about that. The drop rate will get better as we reach phase 3. Features -- AchievementsNot really a question, I guess, just letting you know about an achievements glitch that has popped up in the last day. Bug Report thread: some of us are experiencing an issue where we'll go into our achievements page and see nothing but the new Lake Miasmal achievements. All others disappear and our total points go down. They reappear later. Then disappear again. Kind of a vicious cycle. (All achievements show right now.) I wasn't sure if it was related to the broken achievements from the current event (Miasmal Lake Defender and Miasmal Lake Champion-- both of which show as broken images, no text, nothing) but... thought I should mention it. Just in case. wink Thanks! There's definitely something odd going on, I will check on the save game data right after ATS today. Thanks for the heads up. Lanzer glengrin GAME/FEATURE Summer Event Phase 2 began but the screen to check off battled kin is not working so no way to collect the reward. Many of us have technically won it several times over, so I hope once that is working all kin are still showing fairly easily in battle. I'm sorry, apparently there is a bug in counting how the new kins were marked, please try again in a few minutes and see if it updates correctly. Lanzer Leothalis the Sorcerer Events/GamesSo we just hit phase 2 on the LK event. Fine and fun. However, we're still being plagued by horribly low drop rates for kins, especially since they're required for achievements. Now, while it was mentioned that there would be other methods to attain these kins come phase 3, we are still 6 days away from that, and there's no promise that this alternative way to obtain the kins will help with them existing - or rather, them NOT existing. Will a noteworthy drop rate increase be reconsidered? As it stands, some users have reported 500+ kin battles without seeing a single egg, and some users have hit quadruple digits before seeing a single egg from p1/p2 kins. Thanks for sharing your concern Leothalis, I'll check with the team to make sure the drop rates are and will be more reasonable. Lanzer Vision Blurs EventsSo... A couple things, really. (I'm so sorry to complain, I really am...) Checklists are broken again for the LK event. I've fought all the things I needed to on the second list, and none of them are appearing as marked. But also, my Phase 1 checklist has been completely cleared of previous marks. On top of that... In the 3k+ stamina I have spent on the event with my kins, I have managed one egg drop -- and it wasn't even one of the event kins. It was a Willowcroak Are there plans to fix this stuff soon? Coz I'm getting really discouraged with this event and the amount of bugs it's had since launch -- not to mention the fact that the information about how the event is/was supposed to play out hasn't really all been there since launch. It kinda sucks to be so discouraged by an event, coz I've been really looking forward to LK getting some much needed love. Sorry the checkmarks should re-appear in 10 minutes. The egg drops will significantly increase on Phase 3. I will check and see if we can increase it for phase 2 also. Lanzer What Happens At Night EventsIn regards to all the bugs and issues with the events, don't you guys have people who test the events before hand? If so would you consider accepting more testers so that maybe you have a better scoop of the bugs for the next event. This one seems to be having a lot of issues and problems that having people test out could have been helpful before hand. Sorry this July had been really bad for us with personal holidays, offline events, mobile development and features all taking up time for event development. There had been an issue where some users were using an exploit to grant the conventioneer achievement, along with some other achievements at the beginning of the summer event. We do have a log of all users who had redeemed past convention pin codes, but that would take quite a while to parse through and any recovery will take some time to perform as it's not highest of priority at the moment. While egg drops are still relatively low in Lake Miasmal, many of us found that Miasmal Chiclex was dropping more often than all the other kin. If this continues, could we possibly have an alchemy recipe that would enable us to exchange extra Miasmal Chiclexes* for Eye of Viperex or maybe a new Chiclex recolor? *I have no idea what the plural of Chiclex is. Chiclexes? Chiclexi? Chicli? Is it just Chiclex in the same way that the plural of moose is moose? That's definitely a possibility, we will also be doing some balancing once his week's LK update is released. it amy dreamsk Event Leftovers not removed from the site @lanzer Next week are you going to take the wing sticker out of the daily treat? Plenty of other users would actually straight up prefer the 500g on day 7 rather than the RIG or anything else, but I know there are some people who would be pissed to not get a RIG. rolleyes Every RIG I've tried has given me a 1p item, obviously the 500p is a better reward. The stickers will be rotated out next week, just wanted to give a one last week for people playing catch up on the new area / seeing what was leftover from the event. The mystery grab bag is a mystery for sure, inside are a mix of iems that were asked to not be taken out of rotation, all the way to newer things from 2017. Some of the CIs inside still contain some OG 03's and other random stuff, but of course if it's not your thing, its no biggie.
