Trinity turned to glare at the Aerodactyl, "Do that one more time and I will tie your mouth shut. I am starting to get a headache from the screeching. Now calm down!" She demanded before looking at the map once more and at the different hallways. Trinity just decided to pick one to go down in. She walked in to the middle one. "Come on, guys." She said ready to beat down this leader for making her go through this.

The Aerodactyl glared back, but nevertheless forced itself to calm down for the moment. The hallway they went down went on for a while; eventually, however, they came to a room with a lab table and a single metal cage marked "FT-4464", in which was a single dirty, beaten, blood-covered, and unconscious boy. However, the setup of the room was all too familiar to Shadow, and he caught his breath, frantically fighting against the memories that tried to overwhelm him.

Unfortunately, the memories were too much, and Shadow's breath caught as he became swamped in memories of a very similar room with a similar cage marked "DH-448" and a table on which he was bound and experimented on again and again, memories of loneliness and darkness and painagonytorturesomuchpainwhyithurtssomuchPLEASEMAKEITSTOP!!! The Aerodactyl looked over at the sound of whimpering, watching with concern as Radiates-Shadows began to tremble, the Lucario's eyes glazed over with remembered pain and terror.

Trinity turned to Shadow when he started to react to the room. Her breath stopped before she shouted, "SHADOW!" She lunged at him. her arms wrapped around him pulling him close to her. Trinity cried before trying to break him out of it. Unthinkingly, Trinity kissed him full on the mouth to make the memories stop.
Shadow quickly began to calm down, the feeling of Trinity's lips against his own grounding him. He began instinctively kissing her right back passionately, completely forgetting where they were at the moment as he became completely absorbed in their little make-out session.

Trinity blushed pulling back from the kiss. She got her breath back, "Shadow, are you alright now?" She asked being sure to keep him from seeing the room again. "And you aren't mad I kissed you?" She asked shyly.
Shadow blushed as well as the implications of what just happened sank in. He shrugged, trying to maintain at least some shred of his tough-guy rep. "Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine, and no, I'm not mad... mind you, I'd appreciate it if you didn't pull away quite so quickly next time," he "mumbled". On a side note, his expression and the look in his eyes indicated he was drastically understating his enjoyment of the kiss. It was at that point that the boy in the cage began to stir, groaning softly as he came to. The Aerodactyl immediately went to his side (or at least as close as he could under the circumstances), crooning softly in concern. The boy blinked groggily. "Aero?" he mumbled, obviously still a little out of it. "Didn't they move you to... I dunno... somewhere else?"

Trinity blushed harder, "I think we can continue this later? But for now," She kissed him once more then walked over to the boy in the cage. "Hey, there. I'm going have my Pokémon break you out then we got to get out of here." She said to the boy.
The boy looked over, amber eyes scanning the newcomers warily a moment before he shrugged and offered a weak smirk. "All right, have at it, then. Be careful, though - the cage is built to shock anything that tries to slip between the bars - meant to keep me from using my abilities on any Fossils they bring after my last escape attempt. Prob'ly best to short-circuit it first - if you have any Water-types, they should do the trick." Aero similarly stepped away, watching worriedly as he waited for his friend to be broken out.

Trinity pulled out Saph's ball letting him out. "Bubble, please Saph." She said to the little water type. Saph smiled before blowing multiple bubbles at the cage. The cage shorted out. Trinity returned Saph. "And what abilities are these?" She asked confused. She walked back to Shadow's side.
The boy chuckled, stumbling to his feet. "Well, seeing as I can actually reach through the bars now, I guess I can give you a demonstration," he noted, glancing over at Aero. Aero took the hint and moved closer, and the boy reached between the bars pressed one hand to the large Pokémon's snout, closing his eyes and concentrating. Almost immediately, he began shifting and changing; his skin became a rocky gray as his skull shifted and changed in discreet ways, his fingers became wicked-looking claws, a forked tail sprouted from the back of his waist, and his shoes burst as his feet grew and changed, becoming more birdlike. However, the part that REALLY made Shadow gawk was when the boy's shirt was torn to shreds, two VERY familiar-looking leathery wings sprouting from his back. The guy had just turned into what was essentially an anthropomorphic Aerodactyl! ...Well, the wings were on his back instead of built into the arms and the skull looked a lot more human than a normal Aerodactyl's, but other than that the resemblance was frankly a little unnerving. Once the transformation was complete, Shadow stared good and hard, trying to figure out what the hell just happened, before it clicked, the Lucario comparing Aero's aura and this strange boy's and realizing they were a near-perfect match. "...So you can absorb the attributes of other Pokémon through skin touch?" he finally asked, managing to keep his voice steady. "...Certainly explains the electrified bars." "There's a few more powers than that, but that's the main one. Only temporary, though, and only works on ancient Pokémon - Fossils, mostly, though there was this weird fish-thing they brought in a while back; I think it has to do with the age. Once I tried absorbing the abilities of this one thing with scythes to cut through the bars - Kabu-something, I think - but they recaptured me and put the electricity feature on. Now then, my rambling aside..." With that, he opened his now-larger mouth, now-sharpened teeth biting down on bars again and again, spitting out metal every so often, until he'd bitten himself a hole big enough to slip through; just in time, too, since he reverted back to human form as soon as he joined them on the other side of the bars. "Let's skedaddle before the assholes notice this little rescue mission - I'd rather not get stuffed back in that cage, and I doubt you want to be stuffed in cages either." However, it was at that point that Shadow felt a sort of tugging sensation in his mind, as if something was trying to coax him somewhere. He looked down the hall curiously, noticing another door across from this one - this one marked "Artificial Mega Stones".

(For the guy's Aerodactyl form, think this, but leaner, with a still-mostly-human skull, and with actual potentially-deadly claws and talons instead of the stubby fingers and toes the thing has.)

Trinity watched amazed when the boy transformed using the Aerodactyl. Once he was out, she said, "Ok It shouldn't be that bad to get out but let's be quick about getting out." Then she noticed Shadow looking at something. The trainer turned to look at the thing. It was a door. It was marked. "Any idea what a Artificial Mega Stone is?" She asked the group.
The boy blinked, following the others' gaze. "Oh, those? No idea, but I overheard one of the scientists saying something about those and an extra evolution... oh, and about something called Project Shadow Aura," he recalled. That was good enough for Shadow; the black Lucario went in, opening the door and looking around the walk-in storage closet that held the Stones, the feeling in his head getting stronger. Eventually, he was drawn to a small, dark-gray stone, picking it up and examining it curiously. At his touch, it immediately responded to his Aura, a strange black, dark-red, and blue symbol appearing in the center of it.
