After a nice short nap, Mayaa was raring to go, and bound over to the skeeball booth, staring intently at the machine.
Perhaps she should actually try aiming at the holes that gave more points, and cheered when her ball went into a "100" hole.
That was good, right?

One ball, two ball, three ball, four ball... Arrakis counted off the nine as he waited his turn, sizing up the skeeball ramp. Hopefully his result would be at least as good as it had been last time! He tried not to take too long when it was actually his turn, though. He didn't think anyone behind him would appreciate him taking forever to carefully attempt predicting trajectories.
Though, perhaps, maybe he should've taken at least a little more time with it. Well, at least he hadn't hit anyone with the balls!

Maple wasn't sure how she managed to complete the feat with the knife throwing booth, a fluke most likely. She decided to give this other game a try. It was slightly unfamiliar to her - how many arcades did she visit when she was a little younger? NONE! But, it seemed like bowling in a way. And target practice in another sense.
So, the witch picked up a ball - or two, or three - and gave it a go.

"That was really good," He commended her. He could tell she'd been watching, and he felt a strange, itching need to let her know she was doing a good job. "Okay, now watch me win this thing." Some of his balls went perfectly into dead center, and he huffed proudly at them. But in the end, his score was just barely not enough, and he'd played enough times that the booth owner had taken pity on him and upgraded his prize. It wasn't a win, but it was a loot score. What she lacked in skill Lou made up for in luck and enthusiasm as she slid the balls down the skeeball track. Most of them didn't go very far, but one lucky ball found its way into the 100 point hole and another in the 50 points. 10, 10, 10, 50, 10, 10, 10, 100, 10 = 220 Lou giggled. Here Arrakis was back at this booth, too. Even if he didn't necessarily get anything from it, he did still enjoy the game itself quite a bit. And, he figured, it was good target practice. Rolling a ball up a wooden range wasn't exactly a vital skillset, but he still had to aim, right? Right. Okay, aaaand...! Well, that could have been worse. In fact, since his points qualified him for something, it could have been much worse! Arrakis certainly would not complain about this! catmagick Ticket, please! And oh, okay, I thought the minis were a one-time thing. If it's alright, yeah, I'd like the second mini from yesterday's roll; thank you! SN is "amasis". The carnival seemed a bit quieter today to Nova, though the quiet around the Cheshire Skeeball booth was normal. The shady spot seemed normal. "Afternoon, Azure!"
