Kursha simply could not get motivated to destroy anything. He did not even want to build anything that would destroy anything. Whatever enjoyment he had once taken from explosives had been robbed from him. He put his head down on the table and sighed.

[ Rasali / Recruiting: 35 + 6
Rasali had always been grateful for having a big lusus. He was so goshdang useful for carrying stuff! While Kappadad drew the line at Rasali setting up an information display on his shell, he did allow her to use him to transport items of actual use. Rasali found people were far more likely to come up to her in the field if she was handing out water bottles, anyway. ]

Skaeys Fallin - Construction
Skae sighed as he pushed around sticks that were supposed to represent building materials. It was boring now that he'd actually gotten to do relevant things. How was he supposed to go back to being a normal troll? If he wanted to feel like he was being hunted again he'd have to move to a more populated area, and he didn't think Taldad would enjoy that.
Snorting he pushed over his model and went to pester his dad.

42 construction 16 demolition
Ganyma had gotten into the habit of building things up for the demolition trolls to destroy, so he knew where the weakpoints of his structures were. He worked on the demolition range, carefully taking down the buildings with minimal damage to the materials, and then re-collected the pieces. It wouldn't matter much at this point, but routine was something that Ganyma needed.

The blueblood squinted hard as he tried to measure out the s**t needed to make the explosives he needed, but focusing had been hard that evening. Once he had slapped together the last bomb, he stuck it onto a table with a number of other explosives, and slunk off to find Aprife.

Ganyma construction 42 demolition 16 + 4 = 20 journeytroll!
Ganyma returned to the Wooded Sanctuary enflamed and exhausted simultaneously. He sat for hours in his bunk, face in hands.
What had he done? Realizations crashed down on him. The pressure was too great, and here he had fled his team when they needed him most. Stryke... Stryke only wanted to help. He didn't have the leadership skills to hold of Kursha, if he were to become aggressive. It was too late, now. A ceasefire had been called-- the teams called back to base. He had failed as a leader.
And for what? The rebels had started the fight. The construction project was purely meant to be a rebuild of the city, and here they were attacking the innocent. Innocent children. His little friends. Ganyma had thought he knew what the score was. The royalists were the liars -- the notes he had received from the rebels had said so. But the royalists put trolls into the conflict -- against other innocents, to boot -- without hesitation. Was it worth it? What was the Alternia that the rebels had invisioned? One without conflict, or one without highbloods? An Alternia where the land was ruled as cruelly as by the Queen? Ganyma felt sick to his bile sack.
He'd become an arm for the rebels. Even he had snapped. As a rebel he'd lashed out at one of his own teammates. Ganyma's thinkpan was clouded and full -- he couldn't think about the complex ideas for too long. He had to escape back into his most straight-forward answer, and soon was back on the demolition range.
Ganyma hoped he wouldn't run into any other trolls he knew. Zeffer was safe -- he had no outside context. Perhaps he was around here somewhere. Ganyma stalked off to go find him.

Zeffer
activity: demolition
In the demolitions area, Zeffer was warding off boredom by smashing rubble to dusty pieces with a sledgehammer. The manic nature of the war they had set into motion seemed to have died off significantly, and it made him antsy. What the ******** were they going to do next? They had managed to hold their own against the Royalists, and he saw no reason to halt the progress as they had.
Unlike some, the blueblood continued to revel in the nearly mindless destruction he had wreaked across the city. Sure he had seen a few youngsters here and there, but he had mostly been fighting drones and older trolls. He itched to be back at it again, but was relegated to doing small time assignments at the base. Yawn!
He'd just toppled a section of wall when he caught sight of a very large figure through the dust, somewhere near the edges of the demo area. He had to squint for a moment before realizing it was the same tealblood he had met the other day. Figuring it was time for a break, he headed over, dragging the hammer behind him.
"Hey! I remember you! How you been?" He swaggered up, grinning like a fool.

Stryke Nvrmor | Intel - Busybody Work
Stryke was back at base, the cease fire ordered. His bruises still hurt, and he really didn't know what exactly to do with himself. Sleep in a recuperacoon had helped, but he still felt stiff and didn't bother trying to rally for more supporters. The war was at a stale mate, and neithers fate had been fully decided.
This whole war had started over construction, that was obvious enough. He was homeless, his team mates were scattered and he felt lost. Staring blankly over logs and reports of casualties and building destruction he felt empty inside.
The yellowblood, took his time with the reports, adding in his field work knowledge to the lot. His careful attention to detail, and busy work actually got a few things done by the time he pulled away rubbing an eye with a sigh. There wasn't much more to do with working alone, strategies had already been set in motion. Now all was left was perhaps spying, which he could do after he left camp. Paitence in the information world often meant finding just a little bit more at that last key crucial moment. Perhaps his insight would come in handy.
Leaving his radio on the table he walked away from it, his lusus dad close behind him as he went to go find something else to preoccupy his time with at base. He just didn't care anymore...he was hurt and felt directionless. That to him was worse then being physically uncomfortable.
Intelligence ranks up to Master!

"Hey!" Ganyma responded. He was back to his regular grin. Zeffer's personality was infectious, and Ganyma was an unwitting social chameleon. "Ain't been so good, but fightin's stopped. Dunno about that." He grunted. Ganyma wiped his forehead of demolition sweat. It was almost as though he was schmoozing up to the blueblood. He should have been looking for his teammates. Ganyma's old ways were back again.
"What about you? See yer doin' the last of the tasks. You heard anything 'bout... The attack plan?" Ganyma missed gossip. He dropped his voice conspiratorially.

Zeffer had almost commented on the tealblood's glum expression, but it vanished after their greeting, so he thought nothing of it. "Yeah, tell me about it. Boring as ******** now." He sneered playfully, pulling up his goggles. His face was smudged with dirt, and his hair and clothes were caked with it.
"I've been alright I suppose. Still in one piece." He toyed with the sledgehammer as they chatted, passing the handle back and forth between his hands. "Attack plan?? Ain't heard a damn thing. Hope they do something soon, though." He murmured back, glancing around.

"Uuh, yeah. I just want this to be over." The tealblood sighed. "Not for nothin', but I don't wanna keep on with this territory stuff. We're losin' and all that. Shouldn't we attack the people who really matter? Ain't worth anything goin' on line this." Like, not the rubes working down in Old Hemisect fighting for their lives... Ganyma frowned and looked around with Zeffer. "You think there's somethin' else goin' on?"
Ganyma's lips were pursed tight as he thought about the rebel leader. They had seen very little of her, but word had been passed around so thoroughly that it was hard to tell who was really in charge. He looked towards the center of camp, where the trolls focusing on intelligence worked away over statistics and maps. Even thinking about it made him dizzy. He shifted and pulled his work-greasy hair out of his face. His expression was thoughtful. "Y'know...?"

[ Rasali / Recruiting: 41 + 6
For all the pain the rebellion had involved Rasali in, she couldn't help but feel grateful. Working together with like-minded trolls brought a powerful sense of peace to Rasali's mind. It fueled her passion for the rebellion's message, but also bolstered Rasali's morale on a personal level. With everything she'd learned, and in spite of her loss of naivete, she felt she'd be okay after all of this was over. ]

It had taken all his courage to return to the camp, but he had a job to finish. Kursha never left anything unfinished. Especially not when he had debts to pay. He filed away at the metal clip. A thin layer of shavings dusted the table. It was nice to have focus again.
