Rosaline took her hand back slowly, while the girl did give her name she wasn't inclined to shake hands. She didn't like being with other people too much, that was her guess at least. When she spoke her voice was very nice to hear. Her name was Ruka and she obviously wanted to go with them. "Were investigating the strange murders that happened in the Mist and Leaf. Something wasn't right with them so were getting down to the bottom of it." She could still sense the chakra at the palace, it was so large even larger then the Kages. The person attacking the Palace had something to do with this, it was obvious. They would find out one way or another.

He also faced angering the guard for making him stop an old woman and little girl over something so small as a ring.

Arms remaining crossed as she was given slightly more information on the situation at hand. Ruka was very hard to read. Was she going to help or was she simply pressing them for information? This was taking too long so Ruka began to head in the direction of the Leaf. Leading the way for the others to follow her. Ruka turned around to look at the leaf shinobi and hoped they would follow because if not she would be going alone. [Exit]

As the girl left, Lucius worried of somebody who might await them on the road to the Leaf as well as anyone guarding the Leaf itself. Lucius grabbed her wrist and said in a sympathetic tone “Sorry for this.” Suddenly the two would be transported in a whirlpool to one of the Kunai he had thrown during the fights at the Konoha gates. Immediately Lucius turned around and began to perform a medical jutsu on her. Nothing major, just enough to heal any nausea that would occur. The ferry had arrived at the Mountain path that would lead to the Hidden Mist Village. "Best of luck to ya in the Mist, Nara." replied the sick old man who had threatened her. To say that he didn't scare Shikayumi would would not be entirely true, but she could admit that she was a bit more on her toes since she met the ferryman. Not wanting to be in his presence a minute longer, Shikayumi began walking down the path toward the Mist Village.
It wasn;t very long until she found herself standing a few yards away from the gates of the hidden Mist. Now, she would have to wait to gain entrance into the village.

Rosaline had sensed the foreign shinobi a while ago, the girl had less chakra then her. The more important fact was that she was a leaf ninja and therefore required special attention. Rosaline skipped up to that said ninja and spoke. "Welcome to the Mist Village. I can't help but notice that your a Leaf ninja, and that means you need to explain why your here." She said giggling as she skipped around the girl checking her out. She noted what weapons were visible and so forth, she also noted the girl was a cutie. "I really hope you have a reason or it won't end up so good for you. There are some standard procedures were going to have to go through, and some new ones that have been implemented. Of course I actually need to know your purpose here."
It wasn't long before someone came along to give Shikayumi entrance to the village. However, she really didn't expect the bubbly greeting that she received. "Thank you," Shikayumi replied as the girl skipped around her. She seemed quick on her feet as she began her inspection. "I'm here to discuss important matters with your kage; the Mizukage." Shikayumi held out the enclosed scroll once more to show the young girl her intention in this land. However, the contents of the scroll were for the Mizukage's eyes only.

Rosaline took a look at the scroll grabbing it out of Shikayumi's hands. She did not open it just test it to make sure it was real, and that it wasn't booby trapped. "I see very well, we have some rules here however and let me explain them. One your going to have to put this in your ear." She said while pulling out a rod small enough to be an earring. "You won't take this off till your business here is done. Now there is a small problem of course with letting you enter the village. You might not be a spy and only delivering a message, however you will no doubt inform your Kage of all you have seen. So I ask you what do you purpose I should do?" The girl would cause some problems if allowed to enter. Maybe the Kage had plans for this, perhaps there was a way. She would allow the cute leaf ninja to speak first before she made a decision.
Shikayumi took hold of the small rod; examining it briefly. As a medical ninja she had never interacted this type of rod before, nor could she see how it was meant to keep her in check. Nonetheless she did not attach it to her ear until she had a complete understanding of the situation. "Shinobi, this is not a matter of espionage, it's a matter of diplomacy. It is my mission to deliver this information, and return home with intel of my own. If there's a problem with any of this, I'm sure you would like to explain to the Mizukage as to what is delaying his information." Shikayumi was a hard egg to crack; her whole family was rather good at avoiding questions.
