Nomad stumbled.
All of a sudden one leg didn't want to support him and it took all his effort to stop from crumpling to the ground. He hissed out a breath and nodded to the nearest Tidewalker, then he limped to the edge of the course to recover.

Tribe: Rise and Shine Kin: Tree Knocking Risk Rolls Available: 2 Score: 6/20
Tree Knocking was so ready for this. It was like it was made for her. She loved to go running in random directions just for fun. This would be a fun test for her. No matter how far or not so far she made it, she would enjoy it. She shook her fur out, took a deep breath, and began.
Something must have been really wrong with her. She was sure she was in good health but she suddenly felt very fatigued and just couldn't really get anywhere. She had to stop before she had even really started. It was quite upsetting to Tree Knocking. Not embarrassing so much as it was a mystery and a worry to her.

Sending a mostly blind kin to run an endurance course might seem nonsensical, but but even blind, Rush of Wind was heartier than most and possessed of a sense of determination born out of his blindness. He was not intimidated by the course or the other competitors, but he was realistic in realizing that there was a very good chance that the uneven terrain and his bad sight would work against him in this challenge.
He could only hope that he would do well enough to prove his abilities and that being blind wouldn't prove to cause him serious injury.

He decided to try to pick up the pace, but his bad eyesight failed him at this moment, leading him to take a bad fall and scrape up his knees. He picked himself up and kept going though, the pain and blood meant little to him. He had long ago learned to ignore even the most pressing of feelings and stimuli to try and earn some quiet in his mind.
