Well guys, if anyone needs a passenger, Archie's your guy.
As far as backstory goes... I've no idea. sweatdrop Gotta take a peak at those profiles again.
Brief overview on Archie's character: *Presently, a butler/majordomo; formerly, an operative of a covert operations unit. *Hard working, focused, determined; growing up, he was always the best without meaning to (noncompetitive nature). *Loves order, perfection, and purpose. *Can be stubborn, insensitive, and demanding. *Still strong and nimble for his age (57); skilled in Bartitsu and Krav Maga. *No special/magical abilities as of now. *Vegan.
Let me know if he's someone your character would be interested in interacting with. smile

He probably would , depending on how long the boy's been on the ship and like , I dunno , whether he'd killed anyone or not or been drunk or sleep with a girl ( or a boy , I guess we should be inclusive in this roleplay ) But honestly I he thinks of him as a kid he'll be a hell of a lot nicer to him ;p
I'm guessing he's been on the ship for a few months, maybe a year or two tops. Not overly sure. sweatdrop (Guess I should change his profile to say what ship he's on now. Seen as we figured it out.)
He hasn't killed anyway (yet, probably wont). I don't think he's gotten drunk (if so, it would have been an accident). And he certainly hasn't done anything in his bed yet (besides sleep). He is at that age were some people would still treat him as a kid, and others might want him to "act like a man"... Guess we will have to figure that out as the characters interact probable.
Oh, and I'm crazy enough to keep this tab open all the time... but quoting me will get my attention faster... ninja
Hello, everyone. Someone summoned me, and so I appear. Now, to figure out what kinda character I wanna dream up...
Oh, no, real pictures? Hmmnnnnnn... I don't have any good ones of those. = 3=

Fleur will interact with anyone on the Absolute Bearing.
Hiacinth
At present, George is 37 and has been a prisoner for a few years.
Fleur would definitely participate in a bid to rescue George. If they've worked together before, she would appreciate George's gift with fixing things, perhaps even learned a few tricks as a kid back in the day.

If your a member of his crew, you'd likely think William a good fellow with bright ambition and an unusual connection to the boards beneath your feet.
Fleur is a member of his crew, and appreciates (even trusts) his instincts about the ship. She understands he doesn't trust her much, as is the way with most pirates, so she doesn't seek his companionship. Years ago she harbored something of a crush on him but she's grown past that now. Of course she has.

Gerald is very laid back and easy going.
Fleur likes young Gerald. To her, the four years separating them is almost as great a chasm (or as small) as the one separating her from William. Gerald's easy-going charm makes his company welcome when they share spare time.

Neither did I, but there are some good ones linked here (Thanks, Trance): Depending on your character; Steampunk aspects are awesome, Baroque or Victorian aspects and 1930s swag are great, magical aspects are cool too but let's avoid the "superhero-style glowing eyes." Denim and cell phones are no-goes. There's no "avoid mainstream actors" rule, but let's not have your grisly 50-year-old played by Zac Efron or your youthful scullery maid played by Angelina Jolie. Get the picture?

Trance, omg! Lmao, when I was reading through William's profile two things popped into my head that I know you will appreciate.
-Commence fighting sense- Hester: Typical for a pirate to bring a gun to a sword fight. William: Why, I'm hurt to think that you would expect me to have no other dirty little tricks up my sleeves, admiral. Hester: Trust me, I expect nothing less. William: Hmm, trusting you will be rather hard on my part. Hester: -glares- William: -smiles in triumph-
-Commence...casual/prisoner encounter?- William: You're a woman! Well that explains a lot. Hester: -kicks in the balls- William: -string of curses- Hester: Oh, look, you actually do have balls.

Happy to know. I could already see some charming interaction between the two. (To copy someone else.)
Thug/attacker: *Breaks down door to kitchen* Fleur and Gerald: *Screams like girls together* Thug: *Questioning look* Fleur and Gerald: *Grab kitchen wear and start throwing it at intruder* Job well done! (Though maybe not very effectively.) Don't be counting on us if the ship gets raided. Though, I'm sure Gerald will raid the kitchen often (looking for that Cherry Pie).
On a more serious note, we will have to see how the two interact in the role play. Who knows what will happen. (Though, we can always come up with some back story for the two, as I'm sure we've been together on the ship for some time.)
Five years difference, would probably be more of a problem for Gerald than for Fleur. The older you get, the larger the "dating" gap tends to be. (Though Gerald would probably be more interested in an older girl, if he's even interested in any relationships at the moment. I'll have to play the character before I can get more of a grasp on him.)

I like that dialogue. I particularly like the second exchange... ninja (Though if you question Gerald, he'll tell you everything without needing any persuasion. He doesn't care if you know or not! And he's probably a "brave" coward...emotion_eyebrow )

Haha Hester would be intrigued by Gerald's ability and she'd most likely would want to take him under her wing to get him away from the pirates but that's about the only thing really. She will be too distracted with getting rid of more pirates while keeping her gender a secret to really make friends.

Well. That would depend upon the situation. The crew also capture? "You got pie? Warm bed? Full belly by the end of each day? I'm in." He was captured alone? "Sure. I'll work for you." (But if they come to rescue him, unless you treat him a lot nicer than they do, he's gone.) You have cherry pie? "emotion_omnomnom Omnomnomnom."
Ah. Indifference. He'll do whatever he really feels like in the end and the rest wont matter to much to him. (For the moment, till relationships might start to change opinions.)

I love it ! That sounds totally perfect . William will trust her to do her job and not lie to him about what she hears on the airwaves , but also expect that she may not be telling the truth . Because he's like that >< Oh , also , I love the song you picked !

William is probably going to treat him like a kid , maybe like a younger brother depending on how well they get on ( which will depend on how well Gerald does his job and whether or not young Gerry steers clear when he lives up to his nickname and goes all raging Rob Roy )

Because you got kicked in the.. errr... in some "sensitive bits"? (I think Gerald just flinched on that...) emotion_bandaid (I'm liking all these extra emotes Gaia has now. Didn't have that when I left...)
As far as with William, Gerald knows were the winds are blowing. Provided you don't run the ship in the wrong direction, it should all be smooth sailing... (kinda.)
I think younger brother would probably be appropriate. Gerald's going to be treating the whole crew like an extended family (seen as he doesn't have one anymore anyway).
