It's okay, the back stab throws everyone off...just like in the actual game.

True. True. Especially in games like LARP. lmao. We have a garrote attack that kills you instantly and makes it so you can't scream for help. Needless to say if someone wants to talk to you it is best to be out in the open.

True. True. Especially in games like LARP. lmao. We have a garrote attack that kills you instantly and makes it so you can't scream for help. Needless to say if someone wants to talk to you it is best to be out in the open.

I have only LARPED a few times and they were usually minor, and involving acting like your anime characters, needless to say most of the attacks remove you totally you when you talk you hide.

Ah I heard most Larps in America are 1 hit kills. But in Underworld, we have an HP system and healing. We also in turn have some insta-kill attacks like garrotte and some magic kills like Hell Fire and such. Plus Necromancy becomes more effective in this situation.

Actually it usually depends on where it hits, mos hits are chest stabs which count as instant. We don't have hp...just body parts.
Of course with anime, when you have people dressed up like gods things tend to get weird, and lord help them if they ever say anime attacks allowed.

Larping seems fun, but I don't really have an area where these take place more than one or twice unfortunately.

What city are you in. If your close to Canada and over 18 I can introduce you to Underworld. They tried to start an Underworld in Texas, but it was only 40 strong.

Hello everyone.

I got invited to join this guild and decided to give it a go. It sounds like a nice place smile

I'm 24, live in the Netherlands, and haven't LARP'ed yet (mainly because of a lack of time and money) but would like to try it sometimes. I have a couple of friends who LARP on a regular basis.
A few weeks ago I went to my first con (Epicon - 's Hertogenbosch - the Netherlands) and really liked it. In the future I might go to more cons.
I do go to Castlefest almost every year and I went to the Elf Fantasy Fair a couple of times.

Hello. Welcome dearie. LARP is expensive, but there are ways to make it cheaper. My boyfriend and I make our own weapons, borrow tents, go to thrift stores for our costumes and it's overall an amazing experience. How much does it cost to enter the LARP your friends go too.

Time can be an issue, but overall experience of it is worth it. My friends tell me all the time that they don't have time, their always working ect. After taking up this hobby, everything works out. And because it is a Healthy Activity, bosses enjoy hearing about my experience and are open to letting me go. But that is here in Canada. I'm not sure how it works in the Netherlands.

I'd love to hear about your experiences at the anime cons. My first con is going to be MCM in London, England. I can't wait. My boyfriend and I love traveling and cons so we decided to combine the two. We wouldn't mind trying out different kinds of European Anime Conventions. Welcome dearie. lol. I talk to much sometimes.
