At the comment of the vision being an illusion, Ulka's hiccuping sobs began to slow. It took the bear boy a moment to calm himself- he was still, after all, very much a wreck- but lowly but surely, he stopped crying. It was not until after Pachua investigated the room and came back that Ulka was better, having given some thought to the matter, but he was still... down. Morose.
"I, um. I am not liking these games very much, Pachua. I want to go home, or something. I. Why would someone do this?" He asked softly, toddling back to the one boy who he knew here. With little else to do, he wrung his hands nervously.
"May I, um. Come with you, friend? Or, you can tell me what to do. I am good at following instructions, yes."

Mathias came back downstairs, barely glanced at the others, and made his way around the basement until he came to the door marked B-6. He stared at it for a moment, and got close to it, listening for any sounds that might be coming from the other side of the door before trying the handle to see if it was indeed locked.

He hesitated only a moment before nodding. With them around perhaps he could help the stronger students protect the ones that were getting more and more broken by what was going on around them. "Alright… " He nodded. "I'm going to go help Llyr with… with her." He nodded back to the body. "You guys can follow us, or go ahead of us or whatever you'd like. He moved back to lightly touch Llyr's arm and said quietly. "Are you ready? Let's move here somewhere nicer, it would be nicer upstairs." He brushed a hand over the poor boil's shoulder and crouched to help lift her, trying to make sure that even in this strange, very solid death she had some dignity.

Before Ulka could follow Pachua, he'd hear a quiet, polite throat clearing from behind him. "I understand you're scared ~ I could help you get out of here, if you're willing to listen?"

One of his fuzzy ears twitched at the throat clear, and Ulka turned around to view the little Fracs. They had been polite enough, at least... And it would be very rude not to hear the little guy out. Folding his arms behind his back, he regarded the little thing in thought.
"If, um. If you help me out of here, does that mean someone else will wind up like that ghoul?" He asked quietly, not wanting to alarm the others. He was frowning quite seriously, trying to put more thought into this than he did his typical actions. But, then again... Being a little bear with stuffing between the ears, thought was not his strongest suit.
"Because.... It you are sure, I would very much like to go see my friend again and make sure he is okay. Our--- pachua said that, um. The surgery was an illusion, but I want to know he's okay. I need to see it with my own eye." But here, Ulka hesitated, turning back to look at the group.
"Just none of them will be hurt, right?"Enoh love Good job singling out the idiot. He's all yours.

The Fracs stared at the little Bear as they spoke their concerns, patiently waiting to hear his piece before continuing on.
"You'll still have twenty-four hours to save them, I'm afraid ~ I have to stick to the rules too, you see...but I can give you a better shot at getting help in time." The ears were lowered as if it were an incredibly regretful event. It then leaned to the side, to follow Ulka's line of vision towards the group, who were thankfully out of earshot.
"Well...I won't ask you to kill anyone, if that's what you mean." It leaned back to stare up at the bear, though he wasn't much taller. "All you have to do is use this on someone~" It pawed at its scarf with a back paw until a syringe came out, filled with a dose of clear liquid. "I'll tell you who, but if you use that, and you're successful, I'll help you out and back home." It let the offer hang in the air for a moment, before adding: "You can go and check on your friend, and see whether or not Pachua lied to you again."

Nothing but silence radiated from the room. Still, eerie silence. The door handle only wiggled, but held fast - it did indeed seem locked.

Mathias stood outside the door for a time, debating. He could hear the others in the basement still talking, something about going up stairs. With a small huff, he lifted a hand to his front pocket, using claws to dig out a key. He then used the key to unlock the door, before opening it and looking inside.

Seussi He then used the key to unlock the door, before opening it and looking inside. The door opens inwards. The first thing you notice about this room is that it's cold. Unnaturally cold. The next thing you notice is that, save for a rusted, flat hospital bed in the centre of the room, it's empty. You take a few steps in--
BANG
The door behind you slams shut. As you jump to avoid getting hit, you bump into the old rusted bed - the moment you touch it, the single light above it flickers to life and, for a second, you think you see someone laying there.
You step back.
The light goes out.
The figure is gone.
Something about it unnerves you right down to your core.Quote: You are now in a Confinement RoomThis room has only two options: [ Try to touch the bed again ] or [ Avoid the bed; investigate the room ] After responding to the prompt above, make your next selection with your choice in bold red, and quote The Escaped for your next prompt! It was just a syringe. Nothing too bad or dangerous, just a little needle. Ulka stared at the offered medical tool, blinking a bit. The skin girl had been stabbed with one, and it had made her feel better. Maybe this was the same case. Without thinking more on it, Ulka carefully took the syringe and nodded.
"O-okay. I'll do it. Who am I using it on?" He asked, looking down to the Fracs again. If he just spun the story right, this could be easily enough done. He was just trying to help, after all. They all were.
However, his optimism immediately soured.
"Pachua didn't lie to me..." He protested, upset. But there was just enough doubt in the bear boy's mind to frighten him.
"Did he...?"The escaped Yes teddy, let's give everyone drugs

"I'll let you know when the time comes~ But this is our little secret, okay? Just between you and me~" The Fracs moved forward carefully, nuzzling against Ulka's side, not unlike a cat.
"He did last time~ It was terrible. Keep an eye on him, okay? I think he's bad news." The Fracs whispered, keeping it between himself and the bear.

"O-okay. I can do that," Ulka agreed with a nod, carefully tucking the syringe into one of his pockets so it would not stab him. He didn't think it would do much, being plush and all... But it was still better to be safe and sorry. As he worked about hiding it, one thought did cross the bear boy's mind.
"How will I know who to use it on? Or when? If this is a secret, I mean. Is there a signal?" Some of the spy stories he had read with his papa had signals. Maybe it would be something cool like that? One of his paws drifted down to lightly scratch at the Fracs affectionately.
"And um. What exactly did he lie to me about? If you do not mind my asking, that is."The escaped Slow clap it out for teddy, guys

With no immediate response from Llyr, he gently set down the dead ghoul again with a quiet sigh. "Alright, I'm heading up stairs to see if I can find a key for those rooms we hadn't opened yet. If you want to bring her up with the other, then I'll be there, but please be careful right? We … we can go swimming when this is all over alright?" He rubbed his eyes and stood up, moving back towards the hall and the stairs. "Ok… ok to everyone who's going with me, I'm walking upstairs."

[ ROOM B6 ]The door opened for him quite easily, the key obviously not a fake as it unlatched and swung inward, leaving him staring at was quite possibly the most boring room he could have possibly imagined. Empty, and cold, and with nothing more then a rusted old bed sitting directly in the center. He debated for a moment whether it was even worth going inside, but after a quick glance over his shoulder to see that the others were now heading upstairs, and another split seconds thought, he figured it couldn't actually hurt to have a quick peek, just in case there was something. After all, he must have been holding on to that key when he awoke for a reason. Stepping gingerly into the room the few steps it took him to get past the door, he was barely past it's edge when it suddenly swung, making him jump in alarm as it banged shut behind him. His thigh hit the edge of the bed, jarringly hard against one of his bandaged wounds. He hissed out a curse under his breath, a hiss that cut off abruptly when the light above the bed suddenly flickered on, though the moment he stepped back away from the edge, it went out again. And he was sure. He was positive there had been somebody lying on the bed when the light had first come on. It had only been a fleeting glance, but he was sure he had seen it. A cold chill went down his spine. Biting down on his bottom lip, his upper lip curled back from his teeth in a half snarl. Something was weird here, and he while the whole thing managed to give him a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, he also wanted to see that figure again, see who it was, what they were doing there. He took a careful step forward and slowly reached out to touch the bed again, to see if it would light up once more.

The harsh white light flares back to life, filling the room so brightly it's blinding.
You're standing alone in the room, eyes mulling over a clip board. You can't read the words on the page, but you focus on them, scanning each line as if they contain something vitally important. There is a knock on the door that pulls you from your thoughts, and you step aside, pressing your back against the wall in order to allow enough room for the door to open. It does, and you are treated to the horrified screams of someone you recognize.
NO, they scream. PLEASE, DON'T- They beg. Two shapeless figures draw them into the room, and despite the screaming figure being literally dragged kicking and screaming, they don't seem to have any troubles holding on to them. The shapeless masses wrestle the familiar figure onto the bed and strap them in. They look to you for further instruction, and you feel yourself nod towards the door.
They leave and close the door behind them, leaving you alone with the figure now strapped to the bed.
You hang the clip board on the wall and approach the figure, grinning.
You lied to get them here.
It's someone you know, someone you had been horribly delighted to see pop up on the roster; they wronged you in the past, and you saw an opportunity to make them suffer. You created a false story that resulted in their being thrown into solitary confinement, and now you are alone with them, in a sound proof room. They can't avoid you here, not while they're strapped down by their ankles, wrists, and throat. They scream, they cry, they beg to be released, that they did nothing wrong, they shouldn't even be here - but nobody can hear them. Nobody will come to their rescue until you give the order to release them. You can't kill them or maim them too terribly, unfortunately; that would get you fired. But you do have a precious few minutes with them until you have to get back to the grind...Quote: Who is it? What did they do to you? What do you have to say to them - or do to them - in the few minutes you have before you leave them totally, utterly alone in the darkness? Note: The 'offences' can be as serious or as slight as you want, and as canon or imagined as you'd like! If you opt to use someone else's character, please ensure that you have their player's permission before you start writing. What to do now:Write a response to the prompt above, but keep in mind that it has to be within Gaia's PG-13 guidelines! With your post, roll a 1d100 and match your roll with the results below: 1-75: Your piece said, you take the clipboard off the wall and say your goodbyes. You leave the room, and the moment you step into the hallway the door closes behind you, silencing the cries from within. The door will not reopen for you again. The clip board is gone. 76-100: Your piece said, you take the clipboard, and pause to grab something else - a key, which is hanging from the wall by a thin cord. It has '201A' scrawled on a poorly taped over piece of paper. You leave the room, and the moment you step into the hallway the door closes behind you, silencing the cries from within. The door will not reopen for you again. The clip board is gone. * Note: If this key has already been claimed, refer to and answer the prompt above it (as if you'd rolled 1-75). You may either include the roll prompt in your main post, or make a second one - but you can only roll once. Once you have finished this room, you can not come back to it again. It will simply not open for you, and if you try to sneak in with someone else, a mysterious force stops you. You are now back in the [ HALLWAY ].
