Ursa pushed back a strand of hair and straightened up, before nodding, "I shall... Thank you Queen Lilium, I'm sorry you had to see me like this..." before smiling, once reached the chambers, "Thank you.." she pushed the door open and glanced back at Lilium, then shutting it behind her...

Session Start
Muri sighed softly, walking down the path of the gardens. It had been a while since she'd seen many of the Fey-- she'd been so busy with Alucina and the other horses..and with continuing her education, helping out Sissy, all of that.
So much to get done, and so little time for it.
But Sissy had insisted she take the day off today. She was taking care of the horses herself, while Muris went to the garden to relax a bit. The Stablemouse did have to admit that it felt nice, and relaxing. She loved the way the scent of the flowers wafted gently to her nostrils...though when she'd first entered the garden she couldn't help but sneeze-- she was so used to the smell of horse that the flowers just tickled her nose.

Alces also happened to be in the gardens. He was drumming his fingers on his bracer slowly. He didn't seem to happy, that is, until he saw the other Fey that happened to be in the gardens as well. At the sight of Muris, his eyes light up. He immediately began heading in her direction until he was close enough to call out a greeting, "Hello there Lady Muri!"

Muris started in surprise at first, then realized who was calling to her and rushed over, throwing herself at him and hugging him tightly,
"Alcie!" she cried happily, snuggling against him and then pulling away, a bit embarrassed by the rush of affection. It was just that, she hadn't seen him in such a long time...and she'd missed him.
"...w-why are you calling me Lady Muris, though? I'm not a Lady. And even if I were, it's just Muri to you..."

He hugged her back and had almost lost his balance when she threw herself at him. At that, he just laughed and repeated, "Lady Muris!" He looked down at her and smiled, "Sorry," He began, "It's just a habit I suppose. I'll try harder to remember that." he went to hug her again. "It's good to see you again! It's been a long time hasn't it?" He stepped back some and continued to smile, "I got your gift, and thank you. It's wonderful. But I'm afraid I have nothing to give you in return." he lowered his head some, almost seeming ashamed, "Apparently the 'order has yet to come'." He quoted his Kithain on the last part as he looked back at her.

Muris grinned, settling herself in his lap, as was her custom, and snuggling back against him. The familiar scent of him, and the tickle of the fur he always wore against her, set her quite at ease.
"Oh, that's all right. You've already given me so much!" To say the least. Alces was her best friend, that was for certain. Sure, she still looked up to Rosa and considered her a friend, but...but she just wasn't sure. She hadn't seen the other in quite some time, and she worried that perhaps Rosa wouldn't like her now that she wasn't cute and little.

"Yes, when you were much younger." he grinned, "Now you need new gifts!" Ending with a nod he smiled down at her, "If they don't come soon, I suppose I shall have to go find more things to give you." The Fey kept nodding to himself, "After all, there is a holiday called "Christmas" coming up. "And I have with me here," He pulled out a small pouch attached to his belt that he had almost sat on, "Christmas cookies! I am beginning to think my Kithain is trying to get me fat, always giving me cookies and what not." Shaking his head slightly, he opened it up and pulled out a sugar cookie with a christmas tree design on it to show Muris.

Muris blinked, looking at him wide-eyed, and then smiled,
"Oh! You mean the dolls and such..I still love those, of course. But I'd meant more that you've been such a good friend to me..." She laughed then, eying the cookie,
"Oh, I don't think you could ever get fat, Alcie. You've got way too much energy-- I've seen how often you take out Orin."
She pursed her lips thoughtfully. She had never heard of this..Christmas,
"What, though, is Christmas?"

Alces blushed slightly and thanked her for the compliment, "There's always a chance though, and yes, unless I want that horse that seems to have a bottom-less pit for a stomach to get fat, I have to." He laughed again as he offered her the cookie.
"Well, Lady Xannyia didn't go into much detail, but it is a holiday where people get gifts for one another, spend time with their families, have 'big dinners,' or parties, and Eat lots of sweets, among other things. However, I'm not quite sure what it celebrates, she never got the chance to tell me before she went rushing off to go christmas shopping."

Muris laughed,
"Orin -does- have a fondness for food, that's for sure," she grinned, tugging on a ponytail thoughtfully. It was a habit she'd developed when she started pulling her hair back like this, really..and as much as she tried, she couldn't seem to get rid of it,
"I don't think Sissy celebrates it. She hasn't really mentioned it, at least."
The idea of it saddened her just a little bit, though. It sounded like Alcie was going to be spending his time in Gaia a bit more until the Holidays were over, she shook her head at his offer of the cookie,
"That's okay, I've already eaten."
Not entirely true, but she did know of Alces' fondness for cookies and she certainly wasn't going to be the one to take it from him.

"Unfortunately, and I'm working on that with him. When we go riding now, I only let him stop to eat grass six times now, instead of the nine it was before that...and before that eleven, and I'm sure you get the point..." He trailed off a bit before grinning at her.
"That's a possibility." Alces replied, "I'd imagine not everyone does just like the other holidays." When she turned down the cookie he nodded, "Very well, but if you do, there are plenty." He replaced the cookie in the pouch, that was filled with quite a lot of cookies, "Perhaps the strange cat thing of mine will like cookies. There's too many for even me here."

The girl tilted her head thoughtfully,
"I can't think the cookies would really be good for a cat..." she grinned,
"But then again, hair isn't very good for horses and Orin doesn't seem to get that point." she fluffed her hair a little bit to get the point across-- the horse -did- still like chewing on her hair whenever possible. Especially now that it was longer.
"...Alcie...do you like me less now that I'm not little and cute anymore?" she couldn't believe she'd brought it up, but...well, with how concerned she was about Rosa's opinion on the matter, she couldn't help worrying a bit about Alces'. Especially as his mattered to her just a little bit...okay, maybe a lot more. She wanted Rosa to accept her, but Alces...was a little different situation.

"This is no ordinary cat though. It has wings, and regular cats don't have wings." he stated, although it was quite obvious that normal cats were wingless. "Oh, does he still chew on yours then? I'm very sorry, I've been trying to get him to stop that too." Alces said with a sigh, making yet another mental note on things to work with Orin on.
The moment he heard that question Alces tried his best to keep from choking on nothing. He grabbed a cookie and shoved nearly half of it into his mouth, then holding up his finger as if to say 'just one moment.' That would buy him at least a few seconds. When at last he was done chewing he stared at the uneaten half. He wasn't hungry at all, but he had to make it look less suspicious so to speak, so he would just continue to eat it later. "No, you still are c--I mean, no, of course not. How could I possibly like you less? You're one of my dearest and closest friends."

Muris smiled, but it was a sort of half-hearted smile as she tugged at the silvery strands of hair,
"I guess...I just...worry...because I'm not pretty like Rosa, and I don't know if she'll still want to have anything to do with me..you know how she is, she likes pretty things. And when I was cute it was okay, because cute is fun to play with too...but I'm not..and...and I haven't seen any of the other Fey in a while...."
She pulled a piece of hay she'd found floating around in her hair somewhere out and set it on the grass,
"So...I don't know if any of them will like me anymore. 'Cause I'm different...you know?"

"In my opinion you are." he had let that 'slip' out before he thought about what he was going to say. "I mean, you're still beautiful, I mean..." he trailed off and stared at the cookie a moment, since that was an 'escape,' "I'm sure she'll still like you. After all, she could consider you to be a friend of hers, and so even though you have grown, she will probably still consider you a friend. Although I can't speak for her, but you are probably worrying for nothing." He nodded and was just about to bite into the cookie to avoid answering anymore questions right away until he heard her last statement, which made him stop and put the cookie back down at his side, "Different?"
