Luxor looked at Ys thoughtfully when he spoke and, for once, did not sigh heavily because of whatever Ys said. He found he actually agreed with the other man, which was incredibly strange for the grumpy Squire. He nodded his head slowly, but that was about as much of a real reaction as Ys was going to get out of him.
He had a lot of information swirling around his head, and he was ready to just go home and wade through it all on his own. Everyone chattering was not helping him come to his own understanding about things, and he was much better suited for being on his own and thinking things through, right or wrong, for himself. If he had questions, he'd go and find someone to ask, who might have understood things more than him, but that would be much later.
"I'm ready to go home, as well," he did actually add, after a long beat of not responding.
Thankfully, it wouldn't take too long for that wish to come true.
Camelot, for his part, patiently listened to all the talk and information from the Code, but kept his thoughts to himself for now. He would figure out his place in things in due time. He would be glad to go home and see what Dogby had to think about all of this.

She hadn't said much, or even done much, the whole time they'd been here but as The Code went on speaking she listened and formed her own opinions and thoughts. It was interesting what the code said, every bit of what it said, as it did provide her with information she hadn't had previously and wondered if others even knew.
So this wonder, this place, was Olympus and she did wonder what connection it had to the mythological Olympus from ancient Greece, like she wondered about the connection between her wonder and the place on Earth. She hadn't yet visited her wonder, she wasn't so sure on going into space; though she was in space right now. It seemed all these knights had a wonder wit ha name that pertained to something on Earth and history, mythology, it made her wonder really. She didn't say anything about this though, what was there to say? She would ask someone, at some point, but here and now was not the place. This wonder belonged to every knight though? That was good to know but they couldn't all visit here...would a time come when they could? if they could ever would she even come? Yes, yes she had a feeling that she would come here at least to look around.
As The Code went on talking about the balance needed, and showing it, she found herself understanding things and what they had to do - somehow. But how would they know when balance was reached? I mean yes there would be more order and less chaos, less of the Negaverse, but how to know when they threw things too far in the other direction? She wanted to ask this but was unsure how asking such a thing would be taken by those around her. The fact that it did point out that they, everyone here, all possessed some chaos within them was wise as it was true. Everyone had a balance within themselves; it just was up to them which side they favored as far as she was concerned.
As the talk of curing chaos, and it being a poison, was spoken of by The Code she wondered if that was how it was seen by those here? It seemed a bit offensive to consider it a poison or even an illness. Those of chaos couldn't be evil or bad all the time, as civilians. They had to be good or have some good in them - they just favored chaos at times unlike the knights gathered here who favored order at times. She did understand the very need to create, or bring back, a balance though. It just seemed very hard and difficult to do, even if The Code said they had everything they needed to do it. She didn't feel like she possessed anything which would allow her to help do something so big and tedious, as it surely would be a tedious and hard job to accomplish. The idea though that so many places, Earth included, had or were falling to chaos and thus the balance was tipping too far.
For a moment, a single moment, she did question her own sanity in believing all of this, given what was speaking to them and what it was saying, but taking into account all the magic and everything else she did find herself believing it regardless of what she would and should be thinking. What power did she have - could she have? She felt hopeless and lost to be honest. maybe if she hadn't taken such a break from this all she'd not feel like this? So adrift and lost, no paddle, no land in sight, and just lost. She would have to fix this, though not here and now. She would work on it when she got home.
For now she decided to look around, since The Code was gone.
Stepping away from the group the knight of Polaris took the time to look around them, to see what the currant and true? Olympus looked like. Time certainly wasn't a friendly thing but it hadn't been too unkind, it could have been worse. As she glanced about, every so often looking to the other knights, she wondered what they would all do and how they would approach creating this balance which was needed. She knew she was unsure of herself, and how to do it, it sounded like a delicate thing and how to know when you had achieved it? But she knew it was needed all the same. She wanted to talk to others, to discuss with them these things, but to do so in a large crowd was not her thing. Working together with people wasn't her thing even if she knew it was a necessary thing. Fingers ran through her hair, causing the little decorations in her hair to make soft little sounds, as she let her thoughts wander for some moments. Maybe she looked lost, and perhaps she was lost, but she was trying to find herself really. She needed to work on herself as well as do something to help. But what? Bring too many from one side to the other and you have a problem and if you kill too many you have an issue also. So what to do? Perhaps only step in and fight them when needed? It wouldn't change the statuesque but she was uncomfortable with risking over tipping things to the other side as well.
Finally her eyes landed on a familiar Page from Earth and she wondered if she should approach and talk to him after this? When they got home. She could at least talk to him and not feel so sorely lacking and stupid, which she wasn't in many other areas, and get his opinion. Before she could do anything else, or even say something, she found everything around her vanishing as she seemed to be getting sent back home - to Earth. (Take this as an exit post.)

Truth be told, Hvergelmir did not like being told she was one of the cosmic arbiters of how to do good and evil in the universe. She was no soldier, so she didn't want marching orders, either -- but what she would've really liked, instead was an out to all of this. She would've liked for the Code to have brought them all to space and said, 'Look, we tried this out with you guys, but in retrospect we're going to call in the U.S. military to handle it instead. You can read about it on cnn.com afterwards.' If they could've just walked back the whole last few years, that would've been great. But that's not what happened. And now she had to stop waffling on the point she'd been avoiding for so long, waiting and trying to learn what she needed. Now she had the big answers she'd been using to forestall things. Now she had to decide. Unless she found someone else to make the decision for her. Unless she went back to abdicating responsibility for her own choices. She could do that. She could let someone else decide, someone more sure of themselves. Camelot, maybe. Or... well, she still didn't know anyone else, did she? Hvergelmir let go of Camelot's cloak finally, holding her hand out to the shirtless knight standing next to her, the one who'd cared enough to take issue with the notion of Templars. He'd been nice to her, joked around. "I'm Hvergelmir Page of the Cosmos," she introduced herself. "Next year in Jerusalem?"

Alfheim honestly couldn't remember this much anger had managed to bubble in his chest on any given topic.
Frustration was common, but anger was rare for him, and reserved for only the most dire of offensive situations. But he suddenly realized his fists were clenched so tightly he could feel the soft leather his gloves were made out of strained against the force.
"No one's death is necessary," He said lowly to Sarras and his suggestion.
It was stupidly idealistic, but even in the strained tone of his voice there was a very quiet brand of passion. Alfheim would not accept a world where some people were just 'destined' to be unsalvageable. Did he expect a clean and wholesome win where everyone would be rescued safe and sound from corruption? Hell no. But he would never attribute that to their destinies or necessities as evil beings. Anyone who lived and died in corruption was Order's failure, his failure as a knight, and he wouldn't allow such paltry excuses as their destiny to free him of the weight of his idealism. They all had the potential to be saved.
He would never willingly swallow any other notion. He would root here, in this concept and not be moved by measure, not even a talking scroll.
The Code's words fell on deaf ears the second the word necessary was used. He had no interest in scales and balance.
His concern was more for Hara, who had suffered more thanks to Chaos' presence than any of them, and how she was coping with the Code's ideas of necessities and balance and their supposed mission.
"Hey... you okay?" He asked, his hand reassuming its spot on her shoulder.
All he could think was how he was going to have some serious words for his ancestor once he went back to his wonder.

That seemed like a wrap, thought Babylon, although he wasn't satisfied with the Code's answers. Being told that chaos and order needed to be in balance didn't mean jack s**t when chaos clearly had such a huge advantage and meant to keep it. He'd seen what chaos drove people to do - there would be no safety, while it was allowed to exist, unchecked, just because of some ridiculous Star Wars philosophy quoted at him by an ancient, talking piece of paper that had dismissed them without providing any real answers at all. But there was one bright side, he thought, smiling at the page beside him. "Babylon of Mercury," he replied, offering her a handshake. "It's a pleasure." She got his jokes. He could like anyone as long as they got his jokes. "Next year in Jerusalem," he agreed. "Mediterranean climate, you know? It'd be a hell of a lot nicer than here." Speaking of - he was sweating bullets, probably had a sunburn, and didn't want to stick around any longer than he needed to. Shazari Call this an exit, Babs is outie.

Sarras looked to the Saturn knight and gave a shrug, not quite sure what he had said or done to get on his bad side but choosing not to take it personal. After all, he of all people knew that you couldn't please everyone, and in regards to his cold comment, he shrugged, leaving the cloth for Hara to take as she so chose to (or abandon it, as though he would care). "You weed out the weak so that the strong may live, that's why you hunt deer to keep the population from going out of control. Otherwise, you're breeding nothing but sickly and small deer and risk destroying the ecosystem. You find your way, and I'll find mine."
And his way was finding a way out of this place and getting the hell out of this ridiculous outfit. How was anyone suppose to take him seriously when he looked like this? Maybe that's what set the Saturn knight off... couldn't blame him.Quote: And Sarras is out of here. Seriously, anyone got a coat to spare? Or a different outfit they're not using? He'd be glad to trade!

Bifrost hummed, shoulders rolling. It was a lot to take in. She wasn't quite alright with having a piece of Chaos within her, but she supposed a person couldn't be all light.
Your mother isn't all light... Her vision flickered and she saw her mother's face, splattered with red, and a satisfied smile on her face.
She shuddered and pushed image from her mind, rubbing her arms. No, no her mother may be... difficult, but she wasn't Chaos. She was just... cruel and denied her existence. Not the same thing, at all. Bifrost ruffled her shoulders as the Code faded and she took a few steps back. She was going to have to go back to the Bifrost... and Prena. The thought of going back sent an ache through her arms and she tilted her head. Huh, why did it feel like her weapons ached? She ran her fingers over the links of metal. Hmm.
A trip was definately needed. Not tonight though. Tomorrow, or sometime during the week. Right now, Bifrost needed to sleep.
She thought of home and flickered out of existence.

Andronicus let out heavy sigh and hung her head. Thank goodness. She waited until she vanished.

Niflhel tilted his head as he decided finally once again to take a seat somewhere in the arena and listen to the code. At least they had a place here to come to but it was when the code could call them. Ah well, it was at least a starting point.
Something that could give them a little more insight than they originally had and that was well, always a little bit nice. Though the thought of having to stop chaos' growth was not only something that hit home, it also seemed that it kind of didn't matter how it was stopped. He was going to have to speak to Polaris when he was back and see what she thought.
----
Buyan frowned as the code had finished speaking. It didn't seem that there was much to learn or at least not as much as could've been learned because the code just didn't give it or well she wasn't sure what was going on but the fact it illustrated some of the events was nice. Kind of like an old film reel it was appreciated but it left things to be desired.
Though it appeared this place was a place of lecture, a save heaven from the fighting. Which was fine. It didn't hurt to have such a place. Buyan just sighed and put her hands behind her head and waited to go back home once the code was done though because. . . well she had to figure out what she was going to do to help stop Chaos.

Despite the note of almost-familiarity around the blond Mars Knight (Kairatos), Falias' attention was drawn back to the code as it chose that point to start answering the questions that had been flung at it from various directions. Not to say that the blond Knight had been forgotten, especially not given the way that the note of almost-familiarity niggled, but it more that it was something that Falias allowed to be pushed to the back of his mind as something that could be puzzled on later. To be honest, the bits of information that the Code was choosing to share of them left Falias with more questions than answers - especially around the thing's assertion that they all supposedly needed to quest to both better themselves preserve the balance that the Code kept stressing that they needed to maintain. Unlike the previous times when the Code stopped speaking, the mist faded, sinking in on itself slowly but surely until it had finally disappeared. "I guess that's it for answers tonight" he murmured half to himself and half to Aventine. "Although maybe we can catch up at some point since that scroll thing," he continued, before hastily amending his words "I mean the Code mentioned sending us home." Falias had no idea how long they had been on Mars or whether the Code would carry out its promise to send them all back in enough time for him to salvage anything from the worm cast mixture he'd ended up dropping, but he did know he was both ready to go home and that the evening had left him on a fair bit to think on.
