"Pretty!" Aisha still didn't know Llyr's name and hurried to his side because of her own weakness setting in. She gave Pachua a smile too, "I'm Aisha.."

She was trying to avoid thinking about what she'd overheard Shun saying; Amrita was gone and that thing had come out of her. The thought made her skin crawl.

"Are you guys okay?" She looked a bit beaten up herself, and leaned heavily on one of the large black dragon statues.

Sta: 2

"I … I've been better, I'm so hungry." he admitted, he felt even worse again having shared what little he could spare with the other young boil.
"Nice to meet you Aisha" He said quietly. "… nice knowing you too…just in case."

(im backtracking a little b/c im late sorry!)

"Amrita, what are you doing." He called to her, stepping forward as she too stepped forward. Though it was in the same direction, she was still walking away from him. Walking away from them all. Why was she walking away? She seemed unable to hear them, or perhaps unable to respond? Had she not heard him?

"Stay away from that!" It was the first time he really paid attention to the crown, to the throne, to her destination. Something akin to dread filled him as he looked at the black crown, something about it ringing a bell, something about it just not feeling right. He knew that in another life, Amrita was the Black Queen. He had those memories, even in that life he was close to the black Kingdom.

The crown was moved with a click, picked up by the ghoul... and as he ran towards her, he found himself too late. "Rita!" She placed the crown on her head.

And before his eyes, Amrita, His best friend, one of the closest people to him and someone he treasured deeply... became something else. Something that didn't look like her, didnt feel like her, and held a menacing air around it. But it stood where she last had been, was she inside it?

And people were attacking her.

"WHY ARE YOU HURTING HER?" He screamed out in rage at the entire room, placing his back to the shadow and staring out at everyone else. He pointed at the shade, pointed at where 'merlin' stood. "AMRITA is in there, our COMRAD our FRIEND." He knew everyone in the school knew her, she was their student body vice president. How could no one NOT know her? "So why are you all ATTACKING her?" This was too reminiscent of Red, when she turned into a monster. Is that what happened? Red had died, but had somehow been powerful enough to come back. She had mentioned in passing how people had attacked her, hurt her, when all she did she could not control.

"There must be another way."

The next person who dared attack her, might just have a certain angry blue kitsune on them as well.

"I found a pool, a fountain really, it made me feel just a little less hungry… I don't know… maybe it would help Her… it… that." He glanced at it again cautious. "But… it might make it worse too. I brought of cup of water from it, but I gave it to him…" He pointed cautiously.

"I could go try and find it again."

"Remi, don't you remember the Legacies." Gene started, limping forward and leaning on a statue, her bling and audacious decor in stark contrast with the gloom of the situation. "It's something like that. This isn't Amrita. Amrita is... somewhere else."

She shook her head, trying to compose her thoughts more clearly. It was hard to do with so little FEAR left. "If we kill this, it might save her. Like when we killed The Kings, and they became themselves again."

Shun crossed his arms, listening to Remi. He was familiar with the situation with Red, as he was there in person. However, his experience with that time wasn't quite the same as most others. He had lost his sight and most of his hearing for a time after he attacked Caelius instead of Red. He did recall a rampage that was harming both sides. It was hard to say what would have happened if they had not attacked her. She could very well have continued to rampage and just taken out all the students.

"There will be pain no matter what course of action we take," he said quietly, "Gene also presents a valid point. We don't even really know where the hell we are right about now. This could be another rift."

He shrugged and eyed the shadow. Regardless of what the exact situation was, he knew he would not wish to remain in such a state.

"Either way, removing the crown may help. If we can get it off. Alternatively, it could just corrupt you all the same."

Then they'd have two shadows to deal with.

"I don't think so, Gene." He addressed the new ghoul who spoke up. " I think this thing came from her, and changed her." He didnt realize her core was gone. "I think its controlling her, through the crown."

"What you saw pachua was probably the legacies, or some of them anyways. They have been making a mess of things for a long time. Be glad you missed some, trust me." He was not surprised Pachua saw them in Wonderland, it would make sense. The crack about him being taller though, on a normal day, would have made him smile and tease the feathered snake. He wasn't really in a teasing mood, but the comment did make him crack a small smile.

"Valid, true. But are you willing to take that chance? Are you willing to kill Amrita if that IS her? This...thing could be toying with us, sure. This could be a rift yes, and killing that thing might end up bringing back whatever it is. But at what price? I dont know about you, but i am sick of my loved ones dying for the sake of these Legacies."

He wasn't willing to take that chance, not without trying something. "If i try removing the crown and it corrupts me too... kill me. Don't hold back, dont try and save me because it would mean i was wrong. And for jacks sake, don't try taking the crown again alright?" He thought that was a fair trade.
