Riley was a tad late to the party. And by party, she meant meeting. And by late, she meant incredibly late. As she walked through the doors of the gymnasium, she felt her knees wobble and her eyes widened. There was way too many people in here. She gulped, and slowly made her way in, keeping her head down. If she couldn't find anyone to talk to, she figured Harlem would give her a little conversation. At least so then she wasn't completely alone. Then again, she never was alone.

She spotted Dory however, sitting in the back of the gym. She smiled. Riley hadn't seen him since the day she was released from her pod, and figured it would be nice to go over and say hello. However, he seemed to be with someone she vaguely recognized. She'd ask his name after a while.

As she approached the men, and smiled.

"Hey.. Dorian, right?"

She then turned to Chris, and blinked.

"And...?"

Otto's glaring gaze spared poor Wilson for a moment as Nevada brushed up beside him. He was surrounded by familiar faces again, one of which he'd seen die far too many times in his dreams.

"Hey.." He murmured back, leaning over to give a brief kiss to her cheek. Public displays of affection were not something he cared to partake in. But truth be told, he'd missed her a lot, despite being away only for as long as the dream had taken.

"Somethin' kinda bad happened when I woke up.. I'll talk about it later..." He murmured sullenly to his friends, having just answered a tweet from his cousin.

"Oh for ******** sakes, do you have to ******** harass me this ******** early?" Nick said, for once not raising her voice in the slightest. Either she had an honest aversion to such loud behaviour so early in the morning... or she was truly making some kind of effort as a result of continued Swear Jar threats. Maybe not effort in the right direction, but effort!

She raised a hand and rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Just... ******** don't touch my hair.

Solia was buzzing around like she had down at least five of her own coffees already - which he kind of expected. It left Dorian sitting in a spot of the bleachers that seemed to have become slightly barren, everyone coupling around in groups while the grumpy Mist Hunter sat by himself. Not that he really gave a s**t.

Hearing a pair of familiar voices (one more so than the other), he kind of leaned back to look up at them, eyebrows raising a bit. Chris, and . . . Riley, the new one, he recalled, that he helped wake up with Cass. No one that gave him a giant headache by existing, so he gave them a welcoming nod, pointing to the coffee and cups that Solia had sort of left hovering near him.

"Oui, Friendly. Tired, cranky, nicotine starved, but m'trying." He answered Chris, going to shuffle a bit so that they could sit with him, nodding to Riley. "Bon matinée, 'ow 'as Deus been to you since you woke up?" He asked her, head tilting to the side a little.

"You both jus' wake up sudden, aussi?"

Thankfully, Shu determined the answer to her question about cakes on her own, and managed just as well as expected. This was fortunate because Mimsy appeared especially absent for the moment; she didn't answer, and did nothing but continue to stare.

Her attention returned to present existence when Shu offered a brief and affectionate snuggle before she hurried off towards the breakfast spread. With an equally brief quirk of another half-smile, she let her hands fall to her sides again, and placed one palm against Robert's head. Then she pet his hair this time, fingers curling in the same motions that one might use when scratching a dog behind its ears.

"Mm. No. Thinking too hard. Stop," she muttered, and pinched a small section of hair between her fingers to give a light tug of guidance, not quite a punishment. "You do not need to think about this. You already understand. You do not need to make any adjustments to belong. Already 'exactly right', like you said. Raven and a writing desk. Remember?"

What if he somehow didn't? Her breath caught in her throat in a panic, and she coughed, but managed to maintain her stare. It was a bit of a watery-eyed stare now, but that was kind of to be expected with her current appearance anyway.

Apparently he'd hit his head and it knocked a bit of sense into it. Rin was not complaining, "yes please, you know how I like it." Her lips curled just slightly to flash a bit of tooth. "Perhaps something tasty to eat as well."

"Alright. I'll be right back." He said, rising up and putting on a jacket only to have one hand stop halfway. He looked and noticed he was wearing Rin's jacket, or trying to, and took it off. Draping the jacket over her shoulders, he then pointed to his spot. "Don't let anyone sit next to you." Especially on his jacket.

Walking off, he went over to get himself and Rin some coffee, and maybe fill a plate up with stuff. Then he'd go back and maybe see about sleeping on Rin's shoulder after he had his coffee. It was times like these he wished he had those glasses with the wide-open eyes drawn on the lenses. It would make meetings go faster.

Ripley wasn't sure what to make of the text that Finn had sent him. Honestly he had no clue whether or not he had read it correctly, or if it was even real. He was still pretty tired, and felt as though he had been hit by a, well, giant cleaver. The feelings he had experienced in that single night took a lot out of him, though at the moment he couldn't remember what they were. Granted, he could barely remember where he was, or why the intercom was demanding a meeting at the school gymnasium.

Did they even have a school here?

...Oh. Right.

Somehow he managed to dress himself and head out to the gym for this apparently important briefing. When he got there he scanned the room and made a bee-line for the first familiar person he saw: Finn. He gave the other man a half hearted punch to the shoulder as a greeting. How else would you greet someone who killed you in a weird dream?

"Yes, so what, and no." Ripley answered the texts verbally, though it wouldn't have made much sense to anyone around them at that moment. Yes, he was here; So what if Abbi was making friends and no, he hadn't been dumped yet. Not that he knew anyway, but he didn't add that part.

"Hey." Ripley greeted the others around Finn, before politely turning his head. The death trainee then yawned, covering his mouth with a glove before letting his arms fall limply at his sides.

"s**t, I'm tired." He grumbled, stretching his back until it cracked. "Where is Abbi, anyway?" Since Finn seemed to be keeping tabs on her, maybe he could point him in the right direction.
