Nibbling idly on a piece of mushroom he had stuck in his pocket, he was able to progress further through the garden without risk to his poor head. Trex2000 was much happier this way. He picked some more mushrooms, and a careful bite brought him to a much nicer size... so he put a piece in his pocket to replace the first piece.

Trex found himself at the end of the garden with his temper very much intact. Although he couldn't hold back the wave of irritation as his foxfire pet merely trotted through it all, accumulating dead leaves and thorns and burrs with that same happy grin on it's face. The Queen’s gardens made UT feel slightly uncomfortable, well perhaps it wasn’t so much the gardens as it was the signs. She had come to dislike arrows pointing her in whatever direction they pleased. Fortunately for her the arrows weren’t pointing up or down they simply led her onwards. The ground beneath her boots turned somewhat springy as if each step set her slightly closer to bouncing. She heard a faint buzzing sound and then blinked as she turned sharply and stood in a huge clearing completely covered in mushrooms. Oh dear.
She looked down at a sign: KEEP –YOUR- TEMPER
Well she was quite even-tempered thank you very much! She glared at the sign and then blinked as a rocking-horsefly landed with a faint thump on a mushroom. As It explained UT couldn’t help but be slightly distracted by the sheer curiosity of such a creature. She smiled and nodded, right well she’d eaten strange things in Wonderland before this was much the same.
The memory of the growing and shrinking mushrooms and giant lily-pads came to mind and she slowly stepped forward leaning to take a piece and nibble.
She gasped as she moved along her size changing enough to let her continue on a bit. She wasn't terribly out of proportion but she wasn't exactly perfect either.

Only slightly out of proportion UT moved carefully along and then selected a tiny nibble from what appeared to be a small mushroom, this should do the trick.
Except it didn't do the trick it at all! She gasped as she was thrown a little worse off. Oh dear...perhaps this wasn't going to be so easy.

Hastily eager to make herself right again she reached and grabbed another piece of mushroom. She nibbled and managed to get a little closer to her proper proportions. Not feeling quite so strange she saved a little piece of the mushroom that had helped.

She took a long while selecting the next mushroom and when she had she barely licked it, but apparently it was quite potent. She gave a startled little gasp as she was suddenly thrown terribly out of synch again. She scrambled towards a giant mushroom.

She wandered a little and looked around for another mushroom trying to be careful in her choice yet not really certain how or what to choose. Finally she paused and pinched off a small piece of mushroom. She nibbled and felt herself seem to be right back where she'd started. Then she remembered the piece of mushroom she'd saved and hastily withdrew it, she took a quick n** and was delighted to be just right again!
Her hands moved over her form just to be sure and she skipped down the path grinning and content to be just right.

She gingerly tiptoped along the path, dodging the plants that she would see. However, at the far end, there was a bridge. One for normal size player. She carefully squatted, searching for a mushroom that she could change her size. She found one, but she was afraid taking it would make her just bigger.
So she closed her eyes and swallowed the tiny mushroom, she felt she shrank to normal size. Lucky! She jumped happily and stepped on the bridge.

She had to keep her temper by eating certain amounts of mushrooms to get through this ... mushroom patch. Alright then. KnottedLips could certainly try that. She wasn't really fond of mushrooms, but with all the things she had seen and felt in Wonderland already, mushrooms seemed to be the least of her troubles.
She couldn't certainly handle eating some mushrooms. If she needed to keep balanced, she would likely need to take some of both... So she picked up two, looking between them.
One was significantly bigger than the other. That was no good. She needed to find mushrooms that would keep her "temper" better... Whatever in Jack's name that was supposed to mean.
