She lined things up again. "Sorry, little hedgehog." Man he was cute. The bird still seemed bewildered. It didn't quiet seem to understand it's job here. Always moving this way and that. Looking at her. Silly thing. "Just hold still..." Biting her lip, she swung the bird, hitting the hedgehog, who hit a squire. "Yes!" She could totally do this. Yes. Her bird was making it very hard to do anything at all. Poor little hedgehog was only rolling a few times before stopping. This would never do. She'd never hit any targets at this rate. She let her very confused bird go. He seemed to be even more confused by that, but she gave him little thought. Silly thing. Maybe he just needed a nap. What she needed was a new bird. "Alright, guys, let's just do that again!" It was far easier said than done. Even when things seemed lined up correctly...the hedgehog ended up going a little bit too far to the right, and too far behind her target. "Drat!" Very determined, she walked over to try again. The pep talk didn't seem to help too much. Her swing was off, or the flamingo moved, and the 'ball' only rolled a few inches. It was so cute as it tried to wander a little farther though. So cute. All of her efforts went into this next hit. Maybe. It wasn't a very good swing, and ended up somewhere to the left. Her bird made a very disappointed noise. With a grimace, she let him go. He seemed very upset with how poorly she'd been doing. Oh well. She needed to go grab the hedgehog again anyway. Hedgehog recovered, she moved back toward the flamingos. She picked a slow one (she didn't feel much like chasing anything right then). He was kind of....large for a flamingo. Huh.
