He really hadn't managed to pull out from the crowd, staying about the middle of the flock. A shame really...he'd kind of wanted to show the the 'rustbloods' could do it too....well, he should've known better really....being late.....couldn't afford the best sled....plus some bad luck on his part....he didn't really paint the winning picture.
When he saw the finish line he bit his lip. How could he skirt out ahead? He was pretty far behind as it was....maybe he could....just....distract the others a bit? I chose option # : 4 My score is: 0

zeffer
I chose option # : 3 My score is: 0
Using his disk as a shield, Zeffer struggled through the storm without too much trouble, enjoying every moment of it. Usually he had to go up to the mountains to see such a sight, and the swirling snow inspired him to keep on moving. It was something of a relief, though, when the lights of the pier became apparent and the winds died down. As much as he loved a good storm, his extremities were getting awfully cold, and it would be nice to at least finish the race and get some food. Sliding down several slopes, he blinked at the crowd huddled around the finish line, wondering if any of them were participants or if it was all spectators.
It didn't matter, because all at once, a devious little prank came into mind. He would have to go around, but there was no reason not to throw off anyone who was still behind him!

larque
I chose option # : 1 My score is: -1
Well, that hadn't been a very smart thing to do. In his eagerness to get ahead, Larque's confidence had got the better of him. As the elements taught him a thing or two about caution, he had tipped his sled up in order to block out the wind, cold, exhausted, angry, and admittedly a bit scared. If Mantismom ever heard about this part of the race, he knew she would be plenty cross with him for taking such a silly risk. When the storm finally let up, he shook the snow from himself and hurried along, shivering miserably, merely eager to get back to civilization and allowing his anger over the circumstances to fuel him.
The sight of the crowds blocking his way did nothing to lift his spirits. Well, he hadn't chosen The Danger for nothing, had he? He barreled down the last slope, intent on taking out a little of his pent up frustrations on some of the big fat older kids who were blocking the way.
I chose option # : 4 My score is: -3 Slow and steady wins the race, as troll Aesop always taught. Vremea pursed her lips, extremely glad she had a knit hat to keep her head warm(although she had to break it for her horns), and trudged on through the impossible weather, taking her time and finally making her way through the weather, only to be greeted by a crowd the size of New Hemisect itself(okay, not THAT big— maybe half it's size). She winced, shivering and cold, not in the mood to trudge through the packed people. Her heart sunk. Was this how she lost? The girl pouted, and decided that no— no she wasn't. She had thought of moving the place markers, but decided against it— what if she was disqualified? Nope, she was fine. She thought— why not make a distraction? She was going to loose either way, so why not...? Okay, she responded— Lets hop on to it, then.
I'm rolling a: Rump! Rolls left today: 2 Rump Score: 41 + 3 = 44 Torso Score: Head Score:
You barrel through the crowd on your sled, hitting the legs of kids and teens alike as you do. Angry shouts emerge from the crowd, and you're nearly grabbed off of your sled as a musclebound troll reacts badly to your aggressive maneuver. Fortunately for you, speedy as you are, most trolls don't see the sledding troll whiz right by. Soon, a classic brawl breaks down behind you, and everyone seems more concerned with punching each other than paying you any mind or getting in your way. Gain one point!
If you chose 2):
You get off of your sled, still haggard, and try to nudge yourself through the crowd. However, having lost the appearance of a racer without your sled is like a superhero taking off their mask - no one seems to recognize that you need to get through! Your pleas are ignored and you have a tough time elbowing your way through with your burdensome sled. At least you finished. Lose one point.
If you chose 3):
You villain, you. You sneakily grab some flag poles out of the ground serving as markers and place them along an alternate road as fast as you can. The result? A complete success. Not only do trolls begin to reroute along the flags you've placed, many trolls in the crowd have rerouted to follow your false trail as well! The original finish line is much more accessible now, and you didn't even have to break any legs to do it! Way to not play dirty! Gain two points!
If you chose 4):
You are the star. It's you. It takes you a good while to come up with a distraction, especially considering that the fireworks of Bloodfest are doing a lot of distracting as it is. You cause general ruckus around the amusement site, trying to garner the crowd's attention. And hey, it's working! At least, at first. Trolls in the crowd start to take notice of your antics, but it's too late before you realize that they must think you are some sort of Bloodfest performance artist. Uh oh - you managed to clear the finish line crowd, that's for sure, but the aforementioned crowd is now surrounding you instead. You lose some potential fans as you break out of your self-made crowd to scramble to the finish. Lose two points and some dignity.
At the finish line:
Trolls who took part in the race will gain additional points depending on their participation! For each prompt you filled out, add one point (up to six total points!) to your final score. As a refresher, the daily obstacles were: 1. The starting line 2. The first hill 3. The trash heap 4. The highway 5. The blizzard 6. The finish line
If you passed each obstacle (never missed a day), gain one extra point!
This concludes the Sledding Race! Please tally your scores and post them with your troll's full name and blood color at this time. Winners will be declared tomorrow!

Final Score!
Hazzan Octbre Tealblood
And I'm showing my math here to make sure I'm right...
She had 0 points going into the last prompt, chose option four, so she finishes with -2 points, but I posted on days 2,3,4,5, & 6, so that's +5?
Name: Vremea Everai Blood colour: Orange Submission:Vremea's entry is a small jar with dozens of little candy hearts in it, holding a little letter in it, along with a rose not completely attached to it's side, as she had adjusted it so many times it didn't stick well and had also almost completely wilted. When you take the cloth off to read the note inside, a powerful scent of pure candy slides out, running up your nose-holes and permanently staying there. When you open the adorably decorated note, the first thing you notice is the little drawing of two trolls, one undoubtably the giver, and the other the receiver. Then your eyes wander to the name— MINIST.
You proceed to read the letter.
MINIST,
First thing. You are never going to read this. I will never send this to you, this is just a letter for a contest and I will never, ever, send this to you. But if I did, I would tell you you are amazing and funny and I did not think I would ever say this but I think I pity you. Ever since the first time you walked into the library I work at— my collapsing and expanding vascular system quickens, and my cheeks turn yellow. Your wild hair, crazy horns, devilish smile... You are everything I am not.
You did not come to this event, thankfully, so you can not tease me over how yellow I am. Please never find this. I would rather say it to you in person.
Sincerely,
Vremea Everai
You were tempted to actually send it, but decided to not be so heartless.
