I'm sorry... That was so short... I got blackmailed by an 8th grader... And... It worked......

Ok ok so here is how it went. I was in the lobby at my fav library getting volume two abridged done for Creative Writing. Our library has this fresh coffee machine and its like, SUPER COOL. Well then this kid bought some hot chocolate and a bag of cookies and, having tried every single hot beverage of every single strength and levels of cream/sugar, I warned him that it takes like a good 20 minutes for that thing to cool down. Obv he didn't listen to me and by doing so, absolutely destroyed his tongue. I was like "lol I stand corrected" and then we kinda just hit off a conversation and stuff, gettin all friendly. I had to move to the computer to type my stuff and well, he followed me and sat at the computer next to mine to play some online Minecraft.
He was all distracting me and pulling me from my flow by wanting to shoe me his Minecraft stuff like every 2 seconds. I was like dude, I gotta work but he was the kind of kid who didn't take no for an answer... And I REALLY HATE being mean, especially to a minor, so I often had him wait till I finished a sentence and THEN I could see what he wanted to show me.

I cant multitask.

Eventually I was like look, I gotta focus on my thing, I'm puttin some ear buds in and typing this 200+ page story before finals next week. He was like kicking my chair n all.

Eventually he was like "hey can I have 75¢ for some gum?" I hesitated of course, cause I'm hella super generous but at the same time I was trying to collect quarters for my piggy bank so I could get STINKING RICH. In my weakness, I bargained with him... But in the end I was like, you know what, nah.

Then he pulled this shenanigans on me. He shared his cookies with me earlier(and I could not deny) so he used THAT as leverage to blackmail me into giving him that 75¢!! He was like "I gave you a LOT of those cookies" and I was like .... Dagnabbit.

I was defeated by an 8th grader. Know what's worse? Hes two grades ahead of what he should be. So I was dealing with like, an 11 year old. Legit after that I just went back home, flew under the bed covers and sulked over being such a hopeless softie... And that I was used by someone almost 10 years younger than me.
