Fatalis would hear her give the mutt the option of punching her as hard as he could, this made Fatalis grow upset for reasons unknown to them. Quickly flying over towards the three, Fatalis hovered in between Mirai and Herald, "Sorry, but that is not something that I can allow. F A T A L I S██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Fatalis turned to face Mirai, "When you stop making rash decisions and needlessly putting yourself in harms way, I will treat you with much more respect." he told her as his voice deepened. "You may have knowledge beyond most, but that doesn't make you a true leader. You think because of your abilities and that vast knowledge, you can handle everything, but that is a fools way of thinking." Fatalis seemed to have grown tired of Mirai and her feeble attempts at trying to play the leader, she had no experience no true leadership and now shes wanting Herald to punch her, "You have a lot of growing up to do, it seems that your father failed to teach you anything before his demise." Fatalis would tell her before sighing, "Lady Charlotte was mistaken to place you in charge of this group. You aren't equipped to lead." Fatalis flew higher and higher until he was far above her, "If you wish to obtain that goal of yours, you will need to think more rationally and not so childish." Fatalis had finished speaking with her and the group as a whole. N - Kishin[Black / White] A black canopy grew over Fatalis, it eclipsing the strange light the pride chapter made over the doll. N rose to his level, then above. "Experience is gained through experiencing, Doll. It is a guardian's duty to teach of the world, the let the guarded decided how to take on said problems. If you do not believe Mirai is capable of standing after whether or not she makes a mistake, then you have no faith in her, and if you don't not let her take the reins for once, she will never understand the weight of her choices." The shadow that hung over them both twisted and contorted, begging for a reason to strike. N was the only thing holding them back. "Your actions are rudimentary, simple. Rather as to provide solutions, you'd prefer to say no with a condescending nature. Guides work hand in hand. And that leaves me to wonder... What would you'd prefer us to do? The staunch points to this mission are to have everyone leave this book alive, sane and well, and to acquire the cure. Neither two are allowed to be dropped." As N explained, the shadows were growing disobedient, curling around the careless Fatalis with only the slightest distance leaving him unrestrained. The souls stirred with N. "The next two chapters should be a breeze, but the center of the book will test everyone's mind, especially those who are holding reservations towards others. It would be best to have everything settled, here and now, before you try to kill them on the battlefield because they looked at Mirai funny. How would you suggest we would go about this, doll?" O.C.C:

F A T A L I S██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Fatalis hovered there, unshaken by N's words and actions. As the kishin rose above him and then started to talk to him about the duties of a guardian and his responsibility. To which Fatalis replied, with a deep laugh, every word the kishin spoke, was everything that Fatalis was not. Fatalis never once looked up at N, but he could sense the intense killing intent coming from his shadows, which only made him laugh more. "Your reasons for this mission, means absolutely nothing to me. If you die, then you die. If you lose the cure, then it is lost forever, both of which are not my problem." Seeing the shadows begin making their way to him, Fatalis sighed. N had already made the first mistake, assuming Fatalis was just another one of Charlotte's dolls, which couldn't be farthest from the truth. The power held within Fatalis was only a fraction of what he could actually do, but using too much would expose himself to Mirai and the others. "Easy, those who will prove a hindrance, we will leave behind." Fatalis stated so cruelly, not once concerning himself with the shadows. "Or perhaps, you should just go ahead and let out all your anger, regret and frustrations now, before going, but of course, a soulless kishin like you, should have no problems with that." The last part made it seem like Fatalis had been intentionally insulted and degrading those he spoke to. "The Kishin known as N, you are nothing but a soulless and dangerous tool, you shouldn't exist in this world or in any world. Your mere presence enough to cause harm to others, you are better off dead." Now it seemed as though, Fatalis was just begging for N to strike him, as he slowly began his descent towards the ground. "You're boring me, I suggest you focus on something else, rather than wasting my time trying to intimidate me with such feeble powers." ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

N - Kishin[Black / White]N floated past the doll as it descended. Landing near Mirai, as he went past the doll, the shadows stretched to Fatalis in hopes to strike him. They were being stopped short by N. "I gave you the two conditions. Let our leader work it out if you are going to be no use." Fatalis was attempting to get rise out of him. Give himself a reason to kill N. He wouldn't though, he needed to be there for everyone at the center of the book.

Mirai stayed silent when she heard Fatalis followed by his next assault on N. "Yeah, I suck as a leader. But I am trying." she said. "And you are right, father didn't teach me anything. What good he did..." she muttered. She looked at Fatalis "If you are going to be here just to insult everyone, you need to leave. I don't care why my mother sent you here or your reasons for being here. Your behavior isn't acceptable. If you think you are helping in some way, you are only making things worse for all of us in the long run." she said. She glanced towards N "I am so sorry. Don't listen to that stupid doll." she told him using her telepathy.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N shook his head to Mirai. A response could no longer be brought from him. Ultimately, he drifted off onto a bench, positioning himself under a tree. Then he began to brood about his condition, seeking a calm state so he could fulfill his duty when the time came. O.C.C:

Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never Again... Will I be bound in chains "Wait...WHAT!??" Texas yelled in surprise as he looked over at Mirai. "Why? Why would you ask him to hit you??" He didn't understand Mirai's plan, but when he heard the doll taking crap about it, he knew he didn't want to be like that. "Okay....but, um....I hope you know what you're doing..." he muttered worriedly. Herald blinked in surprise for a moment as he heard Mirai's words. Was this a trap...? Oh well, who cared? If it was a trap she might get off the first hit if she was fast enough. Either way she had given him carte blanch to attack her. She said hit her, so he would hit her, no matter how much she resisted. "Okay..." he replied. "But I promise this is gonna happen a lot more than once in a lifetime." Without another word he exploded towards Mirai, cocking his fist back and accelerating his resonance force to full power. At first it looked like he was going to flat out deck her as he was. But he wasn't passing up this opportunity for a second. About halfway towards Mirai he took drastic action, exploding into his kishin form and accelerating his power for what would be a truly spectacular blow. "SMILE!" He yelled, a fierce grin on his face as his fist shot forward to pound her directly in the face.

Emma sighed "I can't even watch something like this..." she muttered.
Mirai looked at Texas "Herald really wanted to kill my father, I ruined that for him. The most I can do is be a one time punching bag for him since talking to him won't work..." she said. She heard Herald then and looked over right when he was going to pummel her. The punch made contact and she flew, crashing through trees in the area, going pretty far away form the group. Eventually she caught herself and skidded to a halt, the ground getting torn up beneath her feet. She winced as her head was pounding from the hit, she had several burns along her upper body from the green flames that were on Herald. She didn't seem to have any major damage in her head except for a bloody nose. If she was human, she would have probably died. She wiped the blood from her nose "Never doing that again..." she muttered as she teleported back to where the others were. She didn't heal her injuries yet surprisingly and just kept wiping the blood from her nose before spitting out some from her mouth. "There. Hope that little therapy session helped." she told Herald
"At least he didn't headbutt you!" Emma called with a joking tone. Her ears perked and she glanced towards another part of the chapter that seemed different. There were couches and beds and other things instead of trees and everything seemed white. It looked odd. "I found the sloth chapter!" she called.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N 's mind was drifting in what Fatalis had said. Unsettling words the scorched his mind.
The Kishin known as N, you are nothing but a soulless and dangerous tool.
You shouldn't exist in this world or in any world. Your mere presence enough to cause harm to others, you are better off dead.
It didn't feel insulting. It felt truthful. It felt painful. N's thought sunk obsessively into the words until he was shocked out by Mirai getting punched. Watching her teleport back, she seemed fine, but N still moved in on her, appearing in her shadow. He encroached her, moving his hands over her face, but not knowing what to do. N was basically freaking out, being driven to unawares of Emma finding the next chapter. "Mirai... Are you... Are you going to be fine...?"

Mirai blinked up at N as he asked if she was alright. She grinned up at him then "Yep." she replied "I can take a hit... I may be sore for a little bit though..." she said with a small laugh. She stopped and looked up at N, feeling his emotions then. "If it helps at all... I don't think you are a soulless tool. I am glad you are here." she said with a small smile as she grabbed his hand "Everyone lives for a reason. Never let anyone tell you different. Especially a tiny mean doll." she told him. For some reason, the punch seemed to help her oddly enough. It felt like there was some bit of tension out of the way now.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N felt a inkling of a connection when Mirai took his hand. It was felt before, back at the envy chapter, but it was here now as well. Souls reaching out to each other with genuine gratitude.... "..." N did his usual pause, thinking about how this was so. It wasn't just the healing ability she exhibited before, he knew that, was it actually a connection? N nodded to her. "...Ok..."
