Damocles hissed at the bright light, turning his head away from it but to no avail. "Funny, considering how much of a people person you are..." The blonde growled as he tried blinking through it as he looked at the ground. Grabbing a rock, he turned, just missing a boomerang, and threw it at the Queen.

"You're proving your name Gr-" The name was cut off as Des yelped in pain from the flash. He stumbled backwards, tripping over a shade. "Fuuuuuck." He hissed. His eyes were sensitive to light as it was, and he had a feeling that flash just made things worse. "Dammit!" He growled in pain, missing that 'Grace' some how knew his name. Thrashing his leg out angrily he kicked the shade he had tripped over.
Leto groaned and sat up, rubbing at the back of her head which was quickly swelling into an awful lump that hurt like a b***h. She looked up at Al-Janah to watch a boomerang fly past time, sighing with relief that she wasn't hit as well. Following his lead, she pat the ground around her in search for something to pummel the Shade next to her, except she still couldn't see properly so she mostly just ended up crawling on her hands and knees like an idiot.
She also didn't have a shoe to throw, because her new-found outfit didn't even have shoes (so ******** whoever designed this s**t), so that just made her extra mad.
So instead, she untied one of the strings that was holding her furs to her shins, and thwaped the stupid shade with it. Yep. Totally useful.
Things were once more being thrown at her and it was grating on her nerves more and more as time went on. She had been nicked more that she cared to be and her shades were being taken out in batches. Infuriated, didn't begin to describe how she currently felt. Her skin flushed dark, as her eyes set in anger ran over the bunch of humans who dared to stand against her.
Two paper airplanes pelted her shoulders, and landed tangled in her hair. A momentary distraction that cost her as the whip of color landed once more this time striking her hip and causing her to cry out. The humans were going to pay for this, her shade would take them over one by one and they would all look to her, bow to her, and she would rule supreme.
She staggered slightly as more attacks made contact with her person. The caltrops she had used early, were tossed at them by the negaverser to which they belonged. And the spear that had cut her mere minutes ago, slashed across her outer thigh.
"Arrrrrrrrrrrr," she screamed out, surely catching the attention of those fighting quickly advancing to the edge of the water missed by a rock that sailed at her. She balled up her long fingered fist and called out, "Iris Rainbow Slicer." A monochrome rope extended out and the queen swung it high before swinging it around to strike out at the humans.
"Everything you throw at me. I WILL throw right back! I will have this world. It is mine for the taking! May my fairies dance on your graves!"
Finsternis Attack
Power description: Iris Rainbow Slicer ~ Think a giant rope/ribbon made of bright colored light that gets used like a lasso. Can cause burns, and can strike multiple opponents. This is Iris' Super level magic.

"I see you have an arm." He spoke but rather then return the weapon to the knight's capable hands he threw it himself. This would be a game of taking turns - of working together against something neither side wanted here.
With his weapon in hand he took aim for the Queen and for the second time, in a short amount of time, his spear sailed through the air aimed for the Queen.
The flash of light was nothing for her, she had pulled her hood up and used her thick sleeve to cover her eyes as well. Eyes closed tightly against the light as the knight of Polaris stood still for several moments before lowering her sleeve and pushing her hood back, it seemed that she had somehow, without even noticing or trying, avoided some other attack as well. Huffing the dark haired knight turned and twisted about looking for something. Finally her pale eyes looked down to what was held clenched in her hand...could she? No, it didn't seem right. But what could she do...? She needed to join in n this whole thing.
The light was bright and sudden and the senshi was able to turn away quickly, though he still had dark spots flashing and dancing in front of him. Blinking and even trying to look as high up as he could, without moving his head, he waited for the spots to cease to be before he turned back around to the shade of a Queen. It was a stupid move to turn away as he had - as he was turning back he got smacked by some odd weapon...right in the side.
Hissing in pain he turned fully, rubbing at his side. At least it wasn't his already bruising shoulder which had been struck - something to be grateful for.
It was not entirely a lie, nor was it entirely true. She was more battered than she tended to be during such large-scale battles, but it was nothing that would kill her. It would leave its mark upon her, surely. Her arms and thighs sported minor cuts, her back was bruised and scratched, a large welt developing in the spot where the boomerang had only just connected, her face was streaked with dirt, her hair a mess of dislodged curls tangled with leaves and twigs and other random bits of debris. She was tired and aching and sweaty.
But that was all. She'd been through worse, she told herself. Emotionally she felt... not fine either, but she was holding up better than usual. She thought it was because of the differences between now and before. Then she had been incapable, powerless, lost, with nowhere to go and no one to depend on, and few reasons to fight for something she could not believe in. Now she had a place within it. She had people and dreams worth fighting for.
And no shade was going to take that away from her.
Ganymede paused a few moments to try and catch her breath, but it was useless. She was tired. Continuing would be an effort. She let Valhalla usher her toward Themiscyra and stumbled when Valhalla's own magic was used against him. The rest of the battle occurred around her in a barrage of sound. The leader clone's ranting drifted into the background, and by dwindling luck she was able to avoid the most recent attack.
His vision had not yet recovered, and rather easily left him as a sitting duck after he briefly swung at the nearby shade.
He felt the searing pain of the magical attack against his arm before even visually noting the gray light that had looped around his coat sleeve. He hissed in pain as he attempted to pull his arm out of the attack. However, he was thoroughly stuck, forced to endure the pain as long as the magic lingered.

Eternal Iris had her eyes upon the prize, and upon hearing the call of her own attack, she instantly was on her toes, ready to dodge. She wasn't about to let the Shade-Queen use her attack and actually hit.
Once she saw hints of gray zipping quickly at her, she jumped to the side, rolling a bit as she landed.
"...there aren't enough colors in that lame copy of my attack..." she hissed as she seemed to poise herself in a manner that was ready to pounce.
With one hand holding herself up as she remained crouching, her hair rather suddenly seemed to sprout, growing far longer than it was before. Her fuku's skirt seemed to flare up before blooming into a long yellow dress. Her headband seemed to glisten as it turned into a more ornate headpiece. It was after she dawned the appearance of the Princess that her wings forced themselves out of her bare shoulders.
Her sights seemed to be clearing out now, and she narrowed her golden gaze upon the target. Princess Iris' wings started to beat behind her, as if preparing to take off...

The grayscale rainbow attack swept past him, not as close as the offended queen probably would liked, and Captain Realgar rewarded her efforts by giving a double barreled flip off toward the shadowy invader. He wasn't even sure she had any idea what it meant, but if she'd gathered anything from her shades, he'd take a chance on the meaning getting through into her creepy alien head.
"HA!" He would have crowed even louder if she'd missed more people, but as proud as he was at not being hit with an attack he knew to be dangerous and painful (though given how badly she'd handled the Caltrops he didn't have much faith in the Shade Queen's ability to use it, but right now he'd settle for being in one piece.
And very. VERY thankful that Iris was fighting on the same side he was right now, especially feeling her power signature go up as he watched, out of the corner of his eye, as she shifted gear into... well... Senshi Overdrive he guessed. Her royal form. He'd watched one senshi change up before, after smacking them upside the head with a chair, but that had been an age ago, and her power levels hadn't been anything like this. She was at least on par with Zinkenite and Leto, though he wasn't in a mind to try and draw a comparison on who's power level was most impressive in a locker room showdown.
It just mattered she wasn't using it on him right now.

Her vision had only just begun to clear from sparks and begin to recalibrate to the rest of the world when she saw a strange, glowing gray blur that she thought briefly was another trick of her confused, spark filled vision. It wasn't until it struck her, and dragged an pained scream from her as burning ribbon wrapped around and burned her bare arms and raised red flesh under her bodice that she realized it was an actual attack, and a very very painful one. She'd burned herself in the kitchen plenty of times, but she was always able to drop or stop touching what had burned her, but this was a different situation, and it HURT
Her breathing was heavy as she tried to defend herself against her clone, unable to avoid the attack from the Queen. She let out a cry of pain and fell to the ground once more. Of all the things that could happen to her today, dying hadn’t been in her plans. And yet here she was, fighting for her life against herself.
Varuna felt weak and helpless, not nearly as confident as she’d felt when she last visited the moon. Then she’d thought that maybe being a senshi was what she was supposed to be all along. Maybe she was in this world to try and help.
But now she was alone and scared and so horribly new at all of this. Before she thought that maybe she had some experience, but the more she struggled in this battle, the more she realized how helpless she really was, and how little of a difference she was making.
The best she could do was stand her ground, waiting for her clone to descend upon her, trying to think of ways to stop it.

Valhalla spit out the leaves and pushed himself off the ground, rolling onto his side to try and get a glimpse of where his clone was hiding. He’d already encountered it a couple times before, and each time had been a mix of these movement reversals and nauseating episodes of vertigo. He would very like to not throw up in front of so many people.
“I’ll handle this… try and help Themiscyra?” he suggested to Ganymede, not wanting her to deal with more of this nonsense. At least she’d be helping the other knight with a clone who had no magical abilities, to their knowledge. As long as she stayed out of harm’s way, he would be okay fighting this thing on his own.
He found it loitering by the trees, compass in hand and aimed towards him. As before, there wasn’t much they could do to each other besides make each other feel nauseous and maybe trip the other up a few times. Valhalla was starting to figure out the workings of his own attack which, if anything, this experience was good for. Before he could only guess how his opponent felt when they were attacked. At least now he could say exactly how they worked.

Oberon remained strangely silent during the whole exchange. He was sore and in pain and just wanted to go home. These were the times he felt in over his head… they were also the times in which he longed to get stronger, to do better, to be useful. Right now, though… he was just a burden and he hated it.
He could see his clone lingering nearby, waiting… watching…
Before Metis had a chance to object, Oberon dashed forward, launching himself at his own clone and wrestling it to the ground. It wouldn’t use its magic on him — he knew that. It would only encourage him to do better, work harder, be stronger… For now, he just wanted it gone. It would be one less to worry about. One less minion controlled by the Queen.

Sessrumnir clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth, wishing he’d been able to see. Maybe then he would have done a better job at hitting his target. But for what he had done, it was good enough.
“Let me try again,” he demanded, desperate for the chance to attack the Queen once more. Maybe if they could kill her, all of these clones would disappear. “Damned eclipses…” he hissed, wondering if Pasiphae ever did check out the moon while the eclipse kept happening. Was the Queen hiding there the entire time? Had there been a way to avoid all this?
Regardless of what could have been, he knew what he could do now, and that was anything but sit around, watching the others take out this Queen by themselves.
The removal of her train was a minor relief, though its absence meant that it could no longer be used to her disadvantage. She did not grieve its loss.
“Shouldn't your attacks cancel each other out?” she asked, taking up her place beside Valhalla to find his clone.
Ganymede did not want to leave the Knight. Her clone had been difficult enough to defeat on her own, and that had been after a week of gaining experience over it through similar battles. She could have used the help (and had in fact received some), so she knew Valhalla was likely going to need assistance as well, particularly when one took into account his magic. It reversed movement, caused a sickening sense of vertigo, but beyond that Valhalla had little else at his disposal but his fists. At least together they had a better chance of defeating it more swiftly.
But Ganymede also knew that Valhalla was experienced enough to know when he could handle a fight on his own. Themiscyra on the other hand... Ganymede had only just met her so couldn't pretend to be able to predict her level of skill, but Ganymede had been left to face this war mostly alone in her beginner days. She'd hate to force the same fate upon someone else.
Quickly she grasped one of Valhalla's hands to give it a squeeze, full of far too many emotions to possibly convey in such a simple touch, but they'd been through enough together that she was sure anything she might have wanted to say in that moment would have registered without the need for speech. She left him there and made her way toward Themiscyra, leaning over to retrieve a fallen branch she intended to wield as a weapon. She lunged forward and took careful aim, seeing as the two had tumbled to the ground, swinging the branch toward the clone's head.

Persephone growled, turning to punch a shade. She intended to beat every one of the damn things into the ground. She also kind of missed her shoes, and if she could, she might've found somewhere to hide, power down, and power back up, jsut so she could have them back.

Tantalus was not having good luck. One of the strange ribbons struck him, and he hissed in pain. He was starting to run out of energy, but it didn't show in his next strike - a heavy rock, yanked out of the ground and hefted as hard as he could manage at the Queen herself. "People, certainly. Insane monsters from outer space? Not so much."

Natron automatically reached out to catch Des, which he paid for because it distracted him long enough for the Queen to get a hit in. He growled, trying not to show how much that had stung, and then he let go of Des so he could turn and slam his mace into a shade's face.
Captain Natron HP: 23
Penthesilea snarled. She dodged the rainbow ribbon and kept pushing towards the queen, applying her boot to the face of a shade that got in her way. She had to get within six feet of Fisternis to use her magic, and so she would.
Sailor Penthesilea HP: 40
Amytis yelped, skipping away from the ribbon of colors. "Augh!" She groaned, turning and driving the heel of her boot into the face of a shade. She was still blinking from that awful flash attack.
