"I see. Guess I better keep my eyes open for it when around here." Reaper said and noticed his Poochyena coming out of the recovery room out of his pokeball. His Poochyena walked over and sat down beside Reaper who patted him on the head. "Hello." He responded to Maddy who took a spot on the couch.

Maddy's Gible and Froakie soon joined them all in the common room. They didn't seem too happy that Maddy had left the room without waking them. Her Pokemon were strangely overprotective.
"I'm Maddy." She responded to the man named Dark. She took a sip of her coffee.
She frowned slightly. There wasn't enough sugar in it.

"So, any idea why Archie sent you guys messages to join?" He asks. He was curious since everyone seemed so different and most of the people who appeared last night weren't the criminal types.

Maddy shrugged. She felt a little more talkative now that she was drinking a coffee.
"I've dabbled in the criminal life a few times... Stealing and the like." She replied. "Got caught once when I was younger but they haven't been able to catch me since."

"I have no idea. I'm not particularly strong. Haven't really committed a crime, well, until now anyway. I see no reason why I was chosen to join." Reaper said, still petting his Poochyena who started to smile and cuddled up to him.

"I see..." Dark rubs his goatee and looks up at the ceiling. "I see. I noticed that most of the others last night had little to no criminal experience. I wonder if it was just done by random." He shrugs and looks down at Reaper's Poochyena. "Then again, he said he chose us... So he must know our backgrounds..."

Maddy thought in silence for a few moments.
"Maybe we all have talents that he deems useful?" She suggested.
Talking about all of this made her wonder what was in store for them next.

"Maybe he chose us for good cannon fodder? He isn't a real kind leader, and he pretty much sent those grunts to their doom the other day." Reaper said, not exactly believing what he said, but who knows what goes on in the Leader's mind. Poochyena looked at Dark looking back at him, lightly wagging his tail.

"Seems likely..." Dark responds to Maddy and he grabs himself another coffee. He returns afterwards.
"I heard that only two of the six decoy grunts last night got caught. It seems like he had planned an escape for them too."
He sips his coffee.
"This guy seems to know what he's doing."

She downed the rest of her coffee.

Dark sips his second coffee.
"As for me, I had a brief stint with Magma as a 'cleaner' before Archie gave me a better offer. I can understand why he would be so cautious around me."

Cody awoke suddenly, hearing voices in the common room. He was still in the same place he remembered being last night; slouched against the wall in yesterday's clothes. Straightening his back, he heard and felt a loud (well, loud to him) crack coming from his lower back and neck as he straightened his posture. He headed over to see what all the commotion was about, releasing Axew from his pokeball, and picking him up to place him on the boy's shoulder. Coming around the corner, Cody made a big "good morning" wave. Not really knowing what time it was, he just kinda guessed and said "G'mornin' everybody. Man, last night was ridiculous." It wasn't like him to come out of his shell like this, but between the lack of (quality) sleep and just kinda throwing himself out there, he managed to make a little bit more of a scene than he intended, tripping over his untied shoelace and stumbling into the kitchen with the rest of the group.
