I haven't ran into anyone with the same sense as me. Kelly has been close, but he's a headcase. KB is probably one of the few that thinks on my wavelength, but we have different thoughts in certain areas. So pardon me if I think that very independently from everyone else. I've seen the roleplaying community from all angles and different venues, so I feel like I have a better insight than most people here, especially in this circle. One person who equals my expertise is Doji, mainly because he's older than me and has been into this longer than I have. No one else shows the wisdom that he has other than myself. I will admit that a few of you have different strengths in your capabilities, so I have respect for those aspects. But it only goes so far.
My strictness is also rivaled only by Ertai. He's another person who sticks by his foundations without being swayed.

Darkest Silver And yeah she shook with her left hand and is pulling him over her right shoulder since her right hand is on his forearm. I probably should of been a bit clearer. Sorry. but so long as you are ok with carrying on we will. ^.^ So she shook his right hand with her left hand and then grabbed with her right hand. The second part I can see, the first part is just hard to picture without her having her arm all twisted around. But I imagine it doesn't matter unless she's holding with both hands at the end. It'll be a few minutes before I start my response, if you can spare an explanation.

Those are some pretty awful combinations of traits. Sure, their strengths are pretty impressive...when they choose to apply them...but everyone on that list has a SERIOUS flaw of character that keeps them from being as effective as they should be. Even Doji, who has been doing this just as long as I have...and with about the same level of variety in his career...will tell you that available time is his biggest weakness. Those years of experience come at a high price...it means being older than almost everyone else, and having more on your plate. The only reason I manage to RP when I do, where he has essentially stopped, is because I choose to make this hobby a priority. He has other things he wants to focus on (such as table-top gaming).

That is Doji's weakness, but I don't blame him for it. It's a natural trait of his that is understandable, cause anything is better than playing pretend with a bunch of nerds on the internet.

If that's how you wish to look at it, I suppose. We play pretend in pretty much every aspect of our lives, to some extent or the other...Most people just choose to pretend that isn't the case.
Regardless, I'm calling it a night... pirate

Um she doesn't have a house lol. But no, she just refuses to acknowledge them as 'people' or 'animals'. In her eyes they are an abomination. With the exception of Mana because that little cat boy stole her heart at HoH and she will kill to protect him, if she ever got the chance to see him again. xd And I don't know, his 'outgoing' attitude to start with. He is also huge, she is not used to seeing or fighting big opponents. It is mostly a curiosity thing. Also you play him differently, like true to form and character. Which is very different to what I have had her interact with in the past. And his reaction to Fulken still makes me giggle. Lol. Frustrated with a cat.

Playing the follow me game gets on someone's nerves after a while, especially dangling something crucial like some good ol employment for money and its a talking cat doing it. The character originates from Savage Worlds Tabletop, so I had time to develop him kinda. Figure why not, bring the boisterous orc to the big city for laughs. Jay might be the only redeeming factor of this, imagining him eating the cat given the chance.

Well, guess I'll get started now. Apparently after reading it again it seems like I'll do something completely different and exactly the same as what I thought after reading it the first time. Or something like that...

She was shaking his hand with her left, then as she is spinning/turning she grabs his forearm with her right. So all in motion. then pulling him over her back and shoulder. I forgot a lot of details, and I apologise. Her right hand doesn't connect until after she has begun to turn, missed putting the up and forward. x.x She does let go after though. sweatdrop I feel like a d**k. I am sorry hun.

Darkest Silver I feel like a d**k. I am sorry hun. Don't worry about it. Grapples/throws/etc. are some of the most detail-oriented things you can write and if someone has the wrong impression when they start reading it the whole thing comes out sounding backwards (and sometimes you don't realize there was a misunderstanding until 2-3 posts later). I just want to clear up any questions in case it becomes a more important detail later. For example, you said she lets go after but since I hadn't caught that she was initially shaking with her left I at first thought she was shaking with her right, then moving her hand up and grabbing his arm. Now I know that she's holding onto his hand with her left and his arm with her right. It means that his hand isn't free during the transition, because her left hand is still holding onto it. Either way I'm going to give you an A or B response at this point and you can decide which to go with. They'll be similar but with one or two details of difference.
