Rian-chan "Have you ever been to the desert?" He answered as he walked. Natsuko-neko "How far away are they?" She asked. He pointed ahead of the group. You follow the direction he indicated and see another brick building about a block away.

 Location: Katarina Docks Interacting with Lex/Anyone "You've got to be kidding." Cai said, disgusted as the crowd moved to follow the dirty old man. THAT was the guy in charge? Or at the very least the one to take them to the balloons. "Ugh. Just watch he's not actually a part of the tour at all. Just some seedy creep out to lure everyone out of the open so he can kill us and steal all of our valuables." Even if they were walking in a herd of pokemon, Cai lacked faith that any of these people were seasoned, intelligent trainers. Lex had potential only because he had provided semi-decent conversation, but his little puffball wasn't exactly intimidating. "Keep an eye on your pockets..." Cai murmered to his new friend even as he warily joined the tail end of the group.

It seemed like the odd cloaked figure was leading the group into the desert with bribes of balloons.
"Blitz, let's follow. I'd rather not get lost out here."
The Typhlosion nodded and glanced sidelong at the stranger nearby. Something seemed off about him.

Looking in the pointed direction, Gepardo tried to see any balloons, but found nothing in plain sight. He couldn't help the slight glare in the direction of some of the trainers speaking poorly of the man. A soft chuckled escaped him when Lilliputti snapped her beak at them, but he stop her from doing any real damage as he gave the man a nod and walked in the direction of the brick building. "I wonder when do we fall into the rabbit's hole and start answering riddles..."

Cadence grinned at Zak "Well... I've been doing a lot of training. Other than that, I have been trying to figure out where I want to go with my life. I have always wanted to be a gym leader but I want to be a breeder too, not to mention I love traveling so settling down just seems so... mundane." She paused for a moment and then decided she had spoke enough for now "Enough about me though, How are you? Have you done anything interesting since the mountain trip?"
As she followed the old man, she kept pace beside him. Once. Hmm... that sounded like an invitation to ask more questions if she'd ever heard one! "Oh? What was it like? Did you enjoy it? Were there strange pokemon? What about sandstorms? Oh my... I am being quite a pest I hope you will forgive me, I am just very excited you see. I have never been to a desert before."

Erika sipped at her fourth beer contemplatively as she watched the mysterious man. She knew probably better than most that such individuals could be either a thing to be greatly avoided or to be approached. It still remained to be seen whether the man would pose a help or a hinderance. Better to follow for now.
Downing the rest of her beer, she tossed the can aside before stashing her hands into her pockets, feeling the comforting metal handle of her gun. It wasn't her preferred form of defense, but it was reliable, and more importantly, available.

It seemed Anise's question to the man had gone unheard in the crowd that seemed to gather around the man at a surprising rate. She wasn't the only one to question him after all, and many of the other questions had been answered. Including, apparently, where the balloons were. A number of people began to follow the strange man in what was presumably the direction of the balloons, but Anise held back. He didn't sound like he was running this trip, or even working for whoever was. There were no balloons immediately in sight, and why should she follow anyone unofficial-sounding anywhere, much less anyplace that wasn't advertised on the flier? Anise decided she'd had enough oddness for the moment and stayed at the docks. She harbored the vague hope that whoever was actually running this would show up in time, and then she could explain where a number of the group had gone.
Once Oki was sure his trainer was making no move to follow the man, he looked up at her and wagged his tail briefly, clearly approving of the decision. Then her resumed scanning their surroundings attentively. He rather liked that there were less people on the docks now; it meant less people to have to keep an eye on.

Remmy look at the guy pull out the knife and started to run around. "BAD TOUCH BAD TOUCH!!!" He yell.
Squeek flew back over and gave a spark to the creepy guy! He hiss at the guy and landed on Remmy head.
Remmy ran behind Cara and held her leg. "Lady Lady! He no want my milk! HELP" He yell out. He look at Zak and Smile "You came to save me?!" He ask with joy then went on "Want Moo Moo Milk?" He handed to Zak and Cara. "Hello everyone else...want milk to?"
He look back at the guy and growl at him and say "NO MILK FOE YOU!"

Location: Katarina Docks Interacting with: Anyone/ George, Erika Upon Erika's comment, Koorie's gaze snapped to George and she watched with narrowed eyes. She was far enough away to not have to socialize, but dammit if she didn't hear the remark about George flirting. Her stare bore into the back of George's head, her expression stony as she waited for "Fedora" to respond. That changed, however, at the appearance of the mysterious man who appeared to carry even less than she did... though the blade at his side was pretty impressive. Already, she could see the swarm of curious minds making their way around him, and while she wasn't going to join them she was curious enough to keep an eye on what was going on. As the man, and the following swarm, proceeded to start moving away Koorie adjusted her pack over her shoulder. She walked up behind George and placed a hand calmly on his shoulder, giving him and Erika a level look. "Are we staying or following.... and Ma'am, as much as I respect one's right to drink, I would suggest holding off on opening another alcoholic beverage for now." It wasn't exactly meant to come off as rude, but her tone certainly could have inflicted that interpretation.

Location: Katarina Docks Interacting With: Anyone/Anise Kori scrambled out the door, grabbing her bag and skittering down the hall with Cleo on her heels. Take chances, right? Hard to do if she was already too late! Hurrying through the streets and doing her best to avoid bumping into people, she huffed and wheezed by the time she reached the docks. Doubling over to catch her breath, her eevee looking up at her in confusion, Kori sucked in air for several minutes before raising her head and looking around. Was this it? Was she too late? She waved down the first person she saw, holding out the flyer. "Excuse me, Miss? Is this the right place? Do you know about this Clockworks Wasteland Tour?"

The small frame of the man rounded the corner of the building. You trailed him, and stood, flabbergasted by the sight of what looked to be an airship. You have heard stories and seen picture books of one, but never known one to actually exist in this day and age.
You have no idea how long you stared, but when you snapped to, the old man was gone. Was he on the ship? You shouldn't have been so careless and paid more attention instead of standing there drooling, you realized. A better question was is this what the balloon ride was? It looked nothing like the pictures, which showed the modern balloons you were used to seeing.
A few of your group lagged behind, on edge by the appearance of the odd man. But surely this was something, right? They have to see this!

Location: Katarina Docks Interacting With: Kori The sudden decrease in population at the docks made a new arrival more noticeable. For an instant Anise wondered if it was someone who was actually running the trip, but when she saw the flier in the trainer's hand that notion went out the window. When she hailed Anise, her question made it clear she was yet another person here for the trip. "Hi, yeah. This is supposedly where it's supposed to leave from. There's a sign over there," she answered, pointing over towards a sandwich board that mentioned the balloon trip. "But we haven't really seen anyone who says they're from the company running it." She paused, not wanting to give false or leading information, then continued, "Not long ago a frail-looking man covered in scars and camping supplies said he knew where the balloons are, and a bunch of people followed him that way," she pointed in the direction the group had went, "But I'm personally not convinced he's actually, um, legitimate."

Location: The Docks, lagging behind the rest of the group With: Valarie and Fois Sienna's eyes widened a bit as the hoothoot slowed in the air and landed gently on one of her outstretched arms. That went better than she expected. She brought her arm down to chest level slowly. The hoothoot was asleep! The bird keeper was mostly surprised at how quickly that had happened, but guessed it made sense since hoothoot can be nocturnal. The hoothoot's trainer caught up quickly, having run quite a bit. "No problem at all," the girl smiled. "Bird pokemon are my specialty!" Sienna tried to help the girl retrieve the bird from her arm, but he seemed to still be asleep, or was that laughter she felt? She didn't know this hoothoot, but he could be a prankster. "Hm, I guess you could always try returning him to his pokeball if he won't move..."

Location: docks Interacting with: Anise Noticing that Anise was moving towards the odd man he followed after her, concerned that the man may need help, he looked kind of frail and weighed down. When the Ponyta began nosing at the man's pockets Katori frowned, didn't it's trainer actually TRAIN it? At least the man didn't seem too bothered by it though so Katori didn't comment. It wasn't until others approached the man and he drew out a machete that Katori started, that...didn't look good. He heard the man say they should follow him to the balloons and he moved with the rest of the crowd. "This guy ain't all there" he muttered, loud enough for Anise to hear if she was nearby. "But, guess we might as well find out what's all the ruckus, glad i brought Danae along now though, 'n' not one of my companions" he didn't fail to notice that the Zoruark the girl owned was rather protective, that should only be a good thing right now, suspicious as it was at the moment. When they rounded the building Katori was very impressed, this wasn't any Balloon like advertised, this was...this was.. well an antique and Katori kind of got excited, "WOW!" he gasped, staring at the airship. "just... that's a beauty!" For the moment he lost all thoughts of the balloons and began to move towards the airship, now THIS was definitely more like it.
